    Corned beef cabbage croissant

What a great spot, I was greeted by one of the owners and she was an absolute delight. Love the whole vibe in the family owned gem. Don't miss out on the baked goods both sweet and savory! The cases were filled with so many options, all baked by them. I enjoyed the corned beef and cabbage croissant, which was outstanding! Don't skip this gem and supporting a local family business, it is worth the stop.

This is the cutest place around! Tiffany blue & white and all the baked goods you could imagine!! I did not see any cakes so research that if you are looking for actual CAKE! The build out and details like the window into the baking area are charming! If you appreciate beautiful packaging the boxes are gorgeous but must cost a bundle. We tried a number of items the signature item, Brewster Bun, blueberry danish, cheese danish, pistachio croissant, and a few cookies for good measure! Nothing was overly sweet with the exception of the Brewster Bun but that was to be expected. There are a number of savory items available as well as quiche. The dessert case was filled with decadent options! Employees were friendly & helpful! I am adding a book recommendation to this review! I just finished The sweetness of forgetting which I picked up in Orleans at Annie's Books. It pairs nicely with this Bakery!

Stoped to grab breakfast & a coffee, the New Yorker croissant was so flaky and the cream cheese filling was the perfect amount. The Nutella was also delicious!

    Blueberry danish

Blueberry danish is more of bread texture than croissant texture which I don't mind given the loads of blueberries included and you may want to heat up slightly. Turkey Asiago cheese croissant is a nice option along with the nest for savory options. Sticky bun and cranberry granola cookie are good snacks.

I've been coming to Eat Cake 4 Breakfast for years. We came back the weekend after their grand re-opening and were just as pleased! The turkey asiago croissant was the best I've ever had there. We also got their bread pudding, chocolate pistachio croissant, and brewster bun which were all fantastic. A must-visit on Cape!

House guests discovered this bakery and treated us to some AMAZING pastries. The almond croissant and the chocolate croissant were sinful. We try not to sin too often with sugar but these temptations were fabulous. Thank you guests!

Assortment of Pastries (Brewster Bun and Toffee Cookie is a must!)

I love Eat Cake 4 Breakfast and I find it challenging to not come here every morning! Some people complain about the line, but I have never seen such a fast moving line - the team at Eat Cake has a full proof system! Some of my favorites that you have to try, Savory: the New Yorker and Ham and Swiss Croissant, any of the quiches Sweet: Sticky Bun, Brewster Bun, Seasonal Fruit Pastry, all the cookies

Chillingsworth gets a solid 3 stars from me. Food is 4.5…read more Service/ambiance 2 stars We reserved the bistro - but were seated in the "Gold Room" which was reminiscent of someone's grandparents house. Our server Emily was scattered- at times attentive, at times disappearing for 30 minutes leaving us without water. She did bring us a round of champagne to apologize for the wait our table endured waiting for our entrees. We were rushed to get our order in " before the table of 12" but in the end, our food came out after theirs. The steak frites was delicious as were most of our entrees and appetizers. The ricotta gnocchi with corn and peas and mushrooms was also exquisite What left a bad taste in my mouth was how the host was so hospitable to the party in front of us, but when it came our time we were seated in a room we didn't reserve and the hostest coldly stated "we are fully boooked tonight."- We know- we made the reservation for the bistro. We tried to confirm the reservation over the phone, but no one answered. I would recommend coming with an ample helping of patience. The food is good, maybe great but the set and setting leave a lot to be desired.

Food was great. I had haddock, usually not my favorite, but it was really good. My son and wife…read morehad scallops, also very good. My daughter's boyfriend had really good duck breast - almost as good as I get in France. Ambience inside is dated. Chillingsworth was long ago the first fine French restaurant on the part of Cape Cod. It appears that they have not updated the interior in 40+ years. It is a bit charming but also quite stuffy. We had asked for a "bistro" table outside in our on-line reservation, but they seated up inside. The outside seating in the summer is more pleasant. As many other reviewers have noted, the service and kitchen can be erratic. It took a long time for our order to be prepared. The waitress, who was good, comped our table with a glass of wine for each of us.
