This was one of my most anticipated stops on the trip. I had heard a lot about Nauset Farms,…read moreOrleans and I have been waiting to compare it to either Wilson Farms (Lexington), West Falmouth Market (Falmouth) or Something Natural (ACK). Upon entry, I was surprised at how small the location was. I thought it would be bigger...but that is not a big deal. I entered in the front door and immediately made it to the side where the sandwiches were being ordered. One register and approximately 5 workers making sandwiches at a rapid pace. We ordered two sandwiches.....one was a chicken with garlic and herb spread and the second was a Roast beef with mustard and pickle on a sub roll. After paying, we waited for them to call our number. It was a good chance to browse the rest of the store. The meat section looked awesome....lots to choose from and the presentation was right-on! I did see the pies, which I read about, but we did not buy one. I am a big fan of apple pie so it took a lot to keep moving past the stacks of pies! There were many choices of craft beers throughout the store, as well. Our number was called in about 8-10 minutes, which is very reasonable considering how busy the store was. We went outside to eat at one of the many picnic tables. It was a beautiful day to enjoy a sandwich in such a great setting. The chicken with garlic and herb spread was first. I was not happy because I am not a fan of pesto. It was not what i thought I was getting. It was probably my own fault so there was not much I could do! We moved on to the Roast beef sub, which was excellent....great bread, Boars Head meat and just the right amount of yellow mustard Price was to be expected Parking was fine Service was on-time I gave 4 stars because I thought it would be better! Maybe I expected to much but 4 stars is not a big score....maybe next time I will return and get the apple pie, which will add another star! To be continued.......

No hot sandwiches at 1:45 in the afternoon? there had to be 5 people working there! I mean come on…read morenow it's not that late in the day that you should be not serving hot sandwiches at 1:45. I wanted to give this place a chance after all the negative reviews. But just try to cater to the people more. No excuses.

On our way up the Cape for a little lighthouse-hopping adventure, we made a lunchtime stop at Cibo,…read moreand wow--this place is the real Italian deal. The second I walked through the door, I knew we were in for something authentic. The air was filled with the unmistakable smell of fresh sauce, garlic, and quality ingredients. The vibe? Warm, casual, and confidently no-frills in the best way. When my boyfriend's mom asked for mayo and was kindly offered a side of house-made marinara instead, we knew we had struck Italian gold. I ordered the Caprese panini, and while I didn't love the bread at first glance, it surprised me--it was light enough to let the real stars shine: creamy, fresh mozzarella and that incredible homemade pesto. I actually finished the whole sandwich (a rare feat when most leave me full of nothing but bread). My boyfriend (and his parents) devoured their sandwiches without a word, leaving only a few crumbs and a slightly smug expression. We also split an arancini ball for just $5--and it was hefty. Flavorful and golden, though the cheese inside could've used a bit more melt inside. Still worth it, especially at that price. Cibo offers both made-to-order paninis and a full spread of pre-prepared Italian dishes that looked straight out of Nonna's kitchen. Think: lasagna, pastas, cold salads, and a take-and-bake section with house-made pasta and sauces. The gourmet coffee bar smelled like heaven and used fresh ingredients--no plastic creamer pods in sight. Even the dessert case looked like it had stories to tell. Aside from some Cape Cod chips and bottled Coke, everything here felt distinctly and proudly Italian. This is a spot that knows exactly what it is and does it well. 10/10 would detour for this place again.

Darling restaurant with a nice variety of foods and sweets. Bathroom was clean and decorated cute…read more Room in the back to sit and a small patio, besides the main room with counter. When we arrived there were about 4 tables and a couple ahead of us. The co-owner (daughter) was the hostess, waitress, server, busser, and cashier. I don't know how she does it!! We both ordered coffee and it was delicious! I ordered the eggs Benedict with a side of the root vegetable hash and my son ordered the buttermilk pancakes with a side of bacon. My Benedict was very good. The hash was actually the root vegetables in full size, so it threw me off a bit thinking it would be small vegetables all mixed together. That being said, I did like it. My son's pancakes were just okay, but he received several pieces of bacon. Good prices for the food.

It was beautiful to look at but seemed to be plated on plates that were a bit too small as it was quite difficult to cut up our breakfast without pushing it into the table . The service was non existent. We were seated quickly but once the coffee was poured and food served we never saw the server again. No refill on the coffee. No how was the food or can I get you anything. Not clearing the plates made it difficult to even sign the credit card receipt and nary a goodbye when we left.
