We love thin crust pizza and this was honestly one of the best we've had in a while! Love that you can do half and half with two specialty pizzas, so we got to try Chicken Pesto, Quattro Funghi, Hurricane Bob's Scallops and BBQ Chicken. Hands down, Hurricane Bob's Scallops was the winner -- 11/10! Such an original. Think scallops with bacon and herbs, but on a pizza. So good! Chicken Pesto was a close second at 10/10, followed by BBQ Chicken. I can't believe I'm putting Quattro Funghi last because it was still really good -- just a more familiar flavor without as much of the surprise factor. The crust was thin and crispy, just the way we like it. Beer and wine are a nice bonus too. Definitely coming back -- I need to try the Cape Cod pizza next! read more

Best pizza in the area. When we first moved to Hyannis almost 20 years ago, this was EASILY the best pizza in the mid-cape area. The cape was a pizza desert filled with crappy frozen crust greek-style joints. But over the years several pizza places have opened that make some great pizzas. But Palio's still holds up, everything is home-made, and well-made: really good sauce, nice crust, quality cheese and other toppings. They're stingy on their sauce, so ask for extra sauce unless you like it on the dry side. They're usually pretty efficient too, even during the peak summer months. It's a pizza joint, so don't expect much in the way of atmosphere, but sitting outside on a warm summer evening watching the crowd with a slice and a beer is pretty sweet. Oh, and they sometimes have musicians playing, bonus! read more

We had a great experience with Palio Pizzeria takeout. We ordered 2 large pizzas (cheese & meatball), chicken tenders & 3 salads (Caesar, Greek & spinach) . The food was delicious. The pizza was NY style with lots of flavor & huge slices. The salads were fresh & tasty, but on the small side. The atmosphere inside was fun & inviting with a cool bar style vibe. The staff was friendly & helpful. Our total bill was $94 & we fed 7 adults & 1 child. read more

It's the closest thing to NY pizza, thin crispy crust baked in a real pizza oven. So many places these days use electric ovens and sometimes pre-made pizza which is pretty tasteless. Hot dishes are excellent as well.I've had traditional lasagna (huge portion), chicken parmigiana and grilled sandwiches- all are prepared fresh daily and the quality is top notch. It's an old fashioned "Pizza Parlor" which is very enjoyable. read more

If you like soft, fluffy crust, this is not for you. The crust is really tough. There is variety of options of other items, so you should be able to find something, but the crust is hard! read more

We've ordered from Palio's multiple times over the years and not sure what happened but ordered 4 pizzas and they were hard and crunchy. I felt like it was either overcooked or stale. We had a couple of slices but unfortunately had to throw away the rest of it because it was not good. They said they would refund us the pizza. read more

Pizza was good and ready quick. They gave us paper plates for take out and had GF. Unfortunately I didn't check out GF pizza that was supposed to be Olive oil based and instead was tomato based and covered in olives. My GF kiddo was very upset so check your order before you leave! read more

Palio Pizzeria is the best pizza on Cape Cod- The service is a true delight. The atmosphere is very laidback, wherein you can dine inside, or dine outside. The pizza is absolutely delicious! It is brick oven, thin crust pie. Whenever I visit Hyannis, Palio pizza is our go to place for pizza! read more

Definitely above-average pizza and one of the better spots on Cape Cod. We love their fennel sausage and their regular crust. We do have a gluten-free family member and she loves that they have two options for her. We ordered the cauliflower crust on this past order and we weren't thrilled by it. The broccoli rabe specialty pizza is delicious. Overall, a solid place to do takeout! read more

We're from Jersey, so we're super picky about our pizza and Palio totally hit the mark! It seriously tasted like a pie from back home, which is hard to find when you're not in NJ. We didn't eat at the restaurant, just ordered for pickup, but everything was ready on time and super easy. The outdoor seating area looked really cute though--definitely consider coming to sit/eat outside next time. If you're in the area and craving a solid, classic pizza, this place is worth checking out! read more

I got two slices. It was disappointing, they didn't taste super fresh, very very tough in fact. I recommend building your own pizza, its fresher tasting im sure. That seemed to be what everyone else was doing. My wife got a gluten free pepperoni, she wasn't impressed. I guess they aren't back their making gluten free dough with gluten free flour. Too much to ask for I presume. It was totally underwhelming in my opinion, but she ate it cuz she was hungry. It's the place for you if you need a quick bite or if you have kids that get the hunger bug at night. A bit on the pricey side. I think if you're going to serve underwhleming pizza slices at night, at least make them half price. Especially if they've been sitting there a while. read more

Down here on the cap, if you want pizza like home. This is the place. Thin crust , crispy and the sauce n cheese really good. Service is good. Take out on time. Friendly staff. Made 3 large in 20 mins. Awesome for the job site. Definitely order from here for any pizza. Haven't eaten inside. Prices are descent for the cape. read more

You order at the counter. They give you a number and you just have a seat inside or out. Your food is brought to you. Homemade sub rolls., best ever. I got an Italian grinder my first time there it was so good. I went a second time and tried their Panini's.. They were very good. I heard the pizza is exceptional there read more

We ordered 7 pizzas around 6:00 on 12/23. In other words, right at peak dinner time. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes and it was. All was very good. The sausage was spicy. Plenty of toppings... Tasty thin crust. Would definitely go back. read more

Average pizza restaurant in Hyannis. Got a calzone with mozzarella, ricotta and three mushroom types and it came as two thin soggy flavorless pizzas that had been folded over, no crispness or puff, just a thin soggy mess. We also ordered the cape colder pizza and some of it was soggy and undone and other parts were dry and crispy, no consistency. The cheese pizza slice was good. The garlic knots were three pizza dough balls twisted into knots with garlic salt sprinkled on top. The service was good. It is an order at counter and find a seat restaurant which is fine. It is quite loud. They do have outdoor seating. The pizza was not unedible, but just not great. It is probably the only place around serving slices. read more

Prices were very reasonable for a tourist area. Pasta, meatballs and red sauce were very good. There was a constant flow of carry out pizza customers so the pizza must be good too. Only drawback was the pasta with Pesto. Pesto is nothing but fresh basil, garlic, olive oil, roasted pine nuts and good pecorino Romano cheese. I have little to no idea what is in their pesto but it lacked at least 2 of those ingredients. And was possibly mixed with spinach to stretch it. read more

We decided to try someplace different for lunch, and I'm glad we did. I ended up getting 2 slices of cheese pizza and a coke and it was less than 12 bucks. Pizza was nice an thin and very tasty. Review of 08/23/2024 we ordered a cheese pizza and Greek Salad with chicken. Hard to screw up a salad but dressing was not the best.Lacked flavor. Meatballs were ok but red sauce lacked flavor. A positive was the crust on the cheese pizza... Slice was good. It's kind of a system of ordering at the counter paying & tipping up front before any service, getting your own utensils, and picking your own seats. You can sit outside as well. read more

This has great reviews and so take mine with a grain of salt. We aren't from the area so maybe this is what pizza looks like here but aside from it having the crispy bottom factor, it was completely lacking in everything else. There is such an incredibly thin layer of sauce and cheese on it that it actually all just crisped up and wasn't very cheesy or flavorful. It was the thinnest slice of pizza i've ever seen, usually the top of it has some type of texture with the cheese and sauce and it's not all just crisped to an oblivion? The bottom was perfect but it was just way too thin for our enjoyment. Folding it in half felt like you were folding a tortilla chip in half. I hope this paints the picture of what it was like lol... anyways, they do sell sangria here that looked delicious and the inside decor is very cute. Just wasn't our cup of tea...or, in this case, our slice of pizza. read more

I am a regular here and usually order on Saturdays when watching UFC. Their pizza is the thin crust type of style I like. I have been trying a few combinations of toppings to see which one I like. My best combo so far has been shrimp, bacon, mushroom, and pineapple. You'll thank me later when you're eating it. And of course, you gotta get the meatballs! read more

After finishing a medical procedure that required fasting, I called in an order for a pizza. When I got home it was barely warm, missing the items I ordered, and the sauce was so thin there were bare spots on the crust. I was home hungry, tired, out the cost of the pizza and not up to going back and arguing with them. They used to be really good. What happened? read more

Stopped in for pizza, was super busy but we got our pizza quickly. Decent slice, super thin, could have used more sauce though. Have had better pizza on the Cape. Nice outdoor seating as well as indoor seating. Staff was super nice and on top of everyone's needs while we were sitting outdoors. Cleared our plates when we were finished etc. We will definitely come back if on main street and looking for a slice! read more

This was a nice option on a sunny early evening with family. Food is probably 3 star- pizza etc, but family size is good and shareable and they had some fun options. You order inside and they bring outside when ready. They also had a bar with beer/ wine. Best part was the outdoor area with tables/ umbrellas and games such as cornhole. Love this pizza! I crave it and wish I was closer because it's so yummy! Everytime I'm in town I want this pizza. Love the margarita pizza!

Tried out this pizza joint located in Hyannis downtown with some co-worker friends. Of the three pizzas we ordered (Cape Codder, Buffalo Chicken, and Pollo Pepper), my favorite was Cape Codder. It was tasty, almost like eating creamy seafood pasta, but on pizza. Shrimp was decent size! The Buffalo Chicken and Pollo Pepper were ok. The white chicken meat used was dry, and didn't make the pizza quite enjoyable. If you like seafood, then I recommend the Cape Codder. Overall a 3.5! read more
