My son was starving 12 year old. (Haha) so we stopped in and got a pizza, garlic bread, and a salad. Pretty decent sized salad, plenty to share with 3-4 people as a side dish. The garlic bread was huge, 5 in our party and we still had left overs. Pizza was hot and fresh. Really good pizza pie. The lady who took our orders was really nice. We sat at a table and when the food was ready they put it on the counter and we got up and served it to ourselves. Silverware is on the side as well as what you might want for the pizza. The pizza was really good here! Not as crispy as Palio Pizza in Hyannis (see my review on how that was like eating a tortilla chip), but it did have very flavorful sauce and melty cheese. The greek side salad was a little bit sad and pricey but the dressing was good. All in all, not a bad choice for a slice of pizza! The pizza here was decent. The cheese pizza had a spicy marinara sauce and the veggie pizza was loaded. The crust was a bit on the tougher side but we did have to drive 30 min before we could eat the pizza so that probably made a difference. The large pizza is a decent size that can easily feed 3-4 people. read more

Carmine's has the best pizza and the nicest workers. We came in shortly before closing and they made us custom pizzas and allowed us to stay and eat after normal hours. I called carmines and placed and order for a large chicken garlic pizza. All was well, was told 45 wait, I came to pick it up and was greeted by unmatched attitude that I was 10 min early. Not only was it not done on time but the pizza was purposely not put in so that it was 10 minutes late. The owner came out and talked down to me knowing I was Ukrainian and she was Russian. We used to come here every summer before Covid, and it was pretty good pizza. But after our latest experience, we probably won't be going back for a while. We called on the phone ahead of time to place our order, 1 large pepperoni pizza and 1 small barbecue chicken pizza. We got to the restaurant and told us our order would be ready in 5 minutes, and then they told us that they didn't have a barbecue chicken for us because we didn't order it...? Since they hadn't even started our other pizza, it would have been nice if they could just make it for us, but it was alright because the large was enough for 4 people. However, we didn't end up receiving our pizza until about 30 minutes after we were originally scheduled to pick up. When we got the pizza, it was nowhere near as good as it used to be. It had kind of a thick French bread style crust, and the sauce was unusually sweet. I'm giving this 2 stars because I have had good experiences with carmines in the past. I will happily update my review the next time I'm there and I have a better experience with them. read more

We biked 20 miles to Chatham and we usually stop at Chatham Fish and Chips which the kids really enjoy. Unfortunately they were closed today so we needed to find a new place to eat so we stopped at Carmine's for some pizzas. They were totally outstanding! The pizza is OK - reminds me of a good version of Domino's. We had to wait almost an hour for a pizza and a salad - when we arrived they had run out of salads and then only gave us a refund for the salad and not the salad and chicken. We would have complained but the poor young man trying to hold things together was being yelled out by his coworkers. So we just left down a few dollars with the mediocre pizza. On my last night in Cape Cod, I went to Carmine's for pizza with the family. It was relatively dead; it was a Tuesday night and pouring rain, but it had been pretty busy earlier in the week and on the weekend. There's not a whole lot of places to sit here, so I wouldn't bank on eating in, especially if you have a large party. My family ended up ordering a large buffalo chicken pizza as well as a small cheese pizza to split between 7 people. I honestly didn't think it'd be enough pizza, but that, plus a small salad, left everyone feeling content. I really liked the buffalo chicken, although it comes with cilantro on it, which I found kind of odd for that type of pizza. I don't think it really did much to enhance the flavor, and the fried chicken pieces on top weren't incredibly crispy. Despite all that, it was very tasty, especially with the crunch of the celery, and the ranch dressing I got on the side. The highlight was definitely the crust, which was just chewy enough and very light. I'm not sure if pizza is big on Chatham, and I didn't get to experience any other pizza shops there while I was on vacation, but it was definitely some pretty good pizza. Did it blow me away? Not really, but if you're not trying to do anything fancy or trying to feed a large amount of people, then this is a safe bet. read more

Ordered pizza, then went to use the bathroom. There was a blow up mattress, bedding and all types of weird stuff in there. The toilet was totally covered in feces. The sink was difficult to access with all the bedding in there and filthy. I've been coming to this place for years and it's been the most consistently good pizza. They have white sauce or red sauce combinations and they are all good. Great pizza. Ordered two 12" pizzas. They are a few inches bigger than that which is a nice surprise. Ordered a half pepperoni half cheese and a specialty white pizza. The white pizza was fantastic. Their crust is amazing. I could eat it plain. If you order it in as in eating there the space is a little cramped. But what isn't around these parts. Atmosphere is ok as it doesn't feel like a pizza place with half of it being a coffee bar. They do play classical music at least when I was here that gave it somewhat of an Italian feel?
