    Yummy slice of pepperoni
    J R.

Pizza slices were that old school flavor with a very tasty crust. We only sampled the pepperoni, cheese and white pizza with tomatoes and cheese. That was enough to seal the deal! Pizza Shark has the best slices in Chatham. Love that they restored this old theater and added the pizza (there's other stuff on the menu too) so you can have a slice and watch a flick. Movie theater was clean and modern as well.

Update: for veggie pizza lovers, the nurse shark pizza is solid. The family really enjoyed it and didn't miss the meat at all

My first order here and I was pleasantly surprised when opening the box at home. I ordered and paid online which was easy to do. The pizza looked beautiful. Frankly, it was one of the nicest looking pizzas I'd seen in awhile. It had expected amounts of sauce, cheese, but the toppings were generous. The pie had no flavor including the meatballs, dough and sauce. Stunningly flavorless. The meatballs were watery as if previously frozen. The total cost was $23.54 with 3 added toppings. I thought the price was wildly reasonable. It was ready at the time promised and I was served as soon as I walked in.

Decent pizza on the cape. Nice thin crust, good flavor. Lousy location for GPS, overall a good experience.

We were greeted by Taylor at the hostess station and were shown to or table within minutes of our arrival. Received a beautiful table in the dining room in a corner next to windows which was warm & cozy & very romantic. Mary was our server and we both loved the entire atmosphere & vibe of the restaurant immediately! We ordered cocktails ( both were very good), I got the Seafood Strudel (which was very good, had puff pastry & 2 large Shrimp & inside was sea scallops & crab meat and a nice Newburg sauce, accompanied with whipped potatoes & mixed veggies (EXCELLENT), Gf got the Prime NY Sirloin which was cooked perfectly to her liking also accompanied with whipped potatoes & mixed veggies ( I tried a piece of the sirloin, it was DELICIOUS) girlfriend said it was one of the best steaks she ever had! We weren't offered any gratis dessert (which I thought would have been nice especially since I mentioned it when I made our reservation). And we decided to try this weekend when my daughter came with a friend. We will definitely going back. The main complaint is that is hard to get a reservation. We started with calimari. It was pretty, but not exceptional. My wife had the onon soup. For main courses we had the beet and arugula salads, (the arugula with shrimp), the flounder and the crispy salads. The main reason I cam giving the restaurant 5* was the scallops. These were far from the typical fried scallops. They had a like panko coating, served with succotash, and were quite good, even by Cape Cod standards for scallops. The salads are both also very good. Service was attentive and not intrusive. It is a nice old house and has nice ambiance.

The menu is inspired, the dishes are refined, and the entire experience was exceptional. It has unquestionably earned a place on our "must return to" list whenever we are back on Cape Cod.

It's a Greek‑Mediterranean‑American spot, but honestly, the cuisine is only half the story -- the real magic is the atmosphere and the people who make this place feel like home. From the moment you walk in, the owner greets you like an old friend. He has this charming tradition of welcoming every guest with a complimentary slice of pizza -- a small gesture that somehow sets the tone for the whole night. At the end of your meal, he's back again, thanking you for coming and offering free rice pudding or a shot of limoncello or pistachio liqueur. It's warm, it's personal, and it's the kind of hospitality you just don't see anymore. You feel like you are being welcomed into his home. The bar is its own little universe -- friendly bartenders who remember your name, locals who remember each other's stories, and a steady hum of laughter and conversation. It's the kind of place where you can walk in alone and leave feeling like you were part of something. And yes, the food is genuinely good -- hearty, flavorful, comforting. But it's the welcoming environment, the sense of community, and the feeling of being appreciated that make Royal II special. It's become a summer ritual for us, and every year we're reminded why. The chefs are true artists, imagining and executing haute cuisine with skill, precision, and personality. We opted for the optional caviar starter course, which was brilliant. The caviar, served with Pringles potato chips and tangy egg salad, was an exquisite introduction to the tasting menu. The house-made sourdough focaccia with homemade butter may have been the best bread we've eaten. The dayboat scallop was pan-seared and paired with ginger whey-poached pork belly, Anson Mills Carolina Gold lobster congee, and a sake-soy veil. It was incredible. The peas and carrots course of Thumbelina carrots, sweet peas, whipped coconut, and carrot-mint consommé was unlike anything we've experienced before. It was inspired. The fluke was sorrel brioche-crusted and accompanied by razor clam escabeche, sauce romesco, and sea beans, was magnificent. The chef spoke about harvesting the local sea beans himself, and the razor clam purveyor happened to be dining alongside us. It was a memorable and distinctly Cape Cod moment. The intermezzo was a cranberry membrane filled with a refreshing burst of vodka, and delightfully cleansed the palate. The optional foie gras bonbon, encased in milk chocolate, was another triumph. We agreed we would have missed out had we passed on it. It was one of the finest foie gras bites we've ever enjoyed. The tri-tip sirloin course featured American Wagyu with sweet onion soubise and toasted ramp-and-vinegar gnocchi. "Amazing" hardly begins to describe it. The Humboldt Fog cheese course was dramatically torched tableside and served with blueberry shallot jam, toasted milk bread, and smoked almonds. Sublime, artistic, and utterly delicious. The included dessert course featured caramelized white chocolate, lychee, pink guava sorbet, macadamia toffee, white chocolate gel, and olive oil sponge. It was unbelievably good. An optional dessert accompaniment, ordered by every diner, was a layered chocolate, shortbread, and banana tart topped with caviar was a playful and fitting finale. The charming atmosphere, attentive staff, and excellent music had diners on their feet dancing between courses. We finished with their homemade Mignardises and were given a lovely packet to take home which included a homemade scone. This restaurant is wildly civilized. Many courses were served on beautiful handcrafted pieces from Scargo Pottery in Dennis collaboratively designed by the chef and the talented Scargo artist Tina Holl. I offer only praise and gratitude for the extraordinary food, welcoming atmosphere, talented and artistic staff, and a dining experience that reminds us how exceptional Cape Cod dining can be.
