Tried this place a couple years back with a mediocre result. Thought we'd give it another go but really not improved from before. We ordered a large pizza (only small and large sizes available) with half double pepperoni and half hamburger. Wait time was not long and they give you a buzzer if you want to wait in your car (no seating available in the shop). This is a take out place only. Got home with the pizza and opened the box and was disappointed by the amount of pepperoni that was on it so I'm not sure they understood the double part of the order. Taste was good but my mouth felt like it was duking it out with the crust. The crust was very tough and had to be torn apart more than biting a piece. They do have an excellent selection of chips, candy, and drinks. Person behind the counter was very pleasant and handled the order process quickly. Unfortunately this experience and the one previous means that we won't be returning. read more

After a long trail walk we were ready for pizza! I had found this spot online before we came and with it being our last day on the Cape I had to make sure we gave it a try! After perusing all the tasty sounding offerings we decided to the Tiger and only ordered a small. The small was plenty for two people and it was so nice to be able to sit in the shade on the picnic tables nearby. There were only three though, and this spot is on the rail trail (bike trail) so I imagine it could be busy in peak season. The pizza was so delicious though so even if you have to take it to go, make sure you give it a try! Lots of chicken and saucy and the crust is great too! I was hoping they would have a kombucha in the shop but no such luck. I did snag a bag of tasty chips to drag to the beach later and there are plenty of soft drinks and other snacks on offer as well. Oh and this place is quite the bargain too, as food goes on the Cape. Good to know, right?! read more

Really good pizza! We had the Megladon and the Say Cheese pizzas with Caesar salad. Everyone was satisfied and we'd definitely recommend. Service was as pretty good if you overlook the sour pusses on the teen employees who didn't want to be working on a summer Saturday night. We were so tired after an 8 hr drive and arrived to Harwich in the pouring rain. Stopped off here in desperation for some milk or juice, bread and wine to bring back to the house. The girl inside was delightful! So welcoming, so happy- I saw the pizzas flying out the door for pickup- ordered a pepperoni one and waited with a beeper. It really only took 10 min on a busy night. Visiting during the office season, we saw how highly rated this location was and stopped in for some take-out pizzas. The meat lovers pizza was so loaded, 1 slice was a meal in itself. I personally loved the "Great White" pizza, which was so cheesy and flavorful, we added mushrooms on ours and they don't skimp on the toppings here. We ordered online and was ready at the time estimated. Staff was very friendly and prices reasonable for the area and the amount of toppings. The location itself was a little hard to find as we were looking for a sign that says Pizza Shark, but actually it says pleasant lake general store. Excellent pizza, highly recommended! read more

I really love that they have used the old store at Pleasant Lake to restore it into a nice pizza place. We tried the Great White shark pizza and it was really good. I also added the Calabrian Chili Oil and it added a nice kick, which is unusual for a pizza, but it hit the right spot for me and those that like spice. They have a really nice selection of pizzas that are much more different than the traditional choices that you see everywhere, so I applaud them for their creativity. My only feedback is that we waited for the pizza and took it home to find it too cold, even though we are five minutes away. Not sure if it was not cooked hot enough or if the box did not support it keeping it hotter, but we did put it in our toaster and it was just right. Great concept and great place to eat. read more

In the food desert that is Cape Cod, pizza is a luxury. As Pizza Shark expanded into Chatham I was hopeful. New England Pizza is under cooked and disgusting....Carmines, are they ever open? Unfortunately Pizza Shark has chosen to lead as the "economy" vendor in town. Whoever designed this menu did so off a spreadsheet: Evidently toppings are so expensive that they need to be regulated into scarcity. Yum! This place is right on the rail trail. We each got a slice (plain, pepperoni, and 'breakfast'- red and yellow pepper with scrambled eggs, which sounds weird but was delicious). This little market also has drinks and chips and other snacks, as well as ice cream, making a perfect little spot on the rail trail. I am gluten free and finding really gf pizza is incredibly hard. Most taste like cardboard with tomato sauce on top. Pizza Shark literally has the best gf pizza I have ever eaten. We ordered their signature pizza "The Great White" which is a white pie topped with olive oil, garlic, ricotta, buffalo mozzarella & basil. Pizza Shark is so good that I am willing to advertise for them for free (i.e. I purchased their branded sweatshirt in a very nicely faded navy blue color). Larry and I actually tried a slice from the Chatham outpost first (see my other review!), and it was so good that we ended up ordering an entire pizza pie from this Pleasant Lake location since we were staying in Harwich. We were visiting friends in Harwich Port and decided to try Pizza Shark for a group dinner. We got the megalodon for the meat eaters of the group, the nurse shark, a cheese pizza for the kids and decided to try to The Great White Shark Style).
