This is a promising place that just opened. I came in for a drink about 5 pm. The staff are just setting up and that included the bartender who was helping with the setup. She was great: a pleasant woman from Serbia who spoke great English. However if I had a suggestion, it would be to be a bit more customer focused. When people sit at a bar during the 4-6 period, bet to get them sorted when the place is empty, then continue with the dinner setup.

Outstanding! The taste and the service were perfect. The atmosphere is welcoming and the prices are reasonable.

Two people ordered the tuna which was acceptable. One of the other people ordered the chicken melinaze , which was dry and lacking sauce and almost un edible. I ordered a Caesar salad with fresh anchovies and shrimp. The salad was overdressed, dripping and dressing. The lettuce was wilting and brown and a total disappointment on a positive note. I must say the shrimp were good. Service was decent, but the food was unacceptable. I'll have to think about giving them another try but based on my first impressions, it was a big mess On a positive note, the owner of the restaurant called me after this review and apologized that my experience was less than expected. I truly appreciate the call and will give this restaurant another try and share my findings. It's impressive to see that the owners review these reviews and really want to know what they can do to improve.. I will keep you updated

The Puerto Rican in me APPROVES. I'm not worried about the restaurant. It is as "homey" and…read moreunpretentious as any back road Santurce "friquitin de esquina" on the Island. You don't come for fine dining, you come for "home" cooking done REALLY WELL and served with such care - feels like you are at your favorite cousins house and they cater to you. On my way there to celebrate a 60th birthday, I took a gander at the menu. And it seemed so confusing. VERY. Ecuadorian, Italian and Brazilian... why? This CANT BE RIGHT. But I went along, sat with the birthday boy and his birthday entourage, hung out with his lovely sons, and after the hubby and I struggled with all the wonderfully described offerings. Fried fish, meats - Ecuadorian, Italian or Brazilian. Pizza. Pasta. Rice. LOTS OF RICE DISHES. Beans. Chicharron.., eggs... plantains... OH for the love of stuff we love to eat when we don't want to cook it, but in an ethnic way that grandma didn't teach us, and yet the levels of deliciousness we all have in common across the Latin and Brazilian Americas... My husband went with lamb chops off the Brazillian menu and I ordered the Churrasco Brazileiro. As the plates started arriving to the table we realized that these guys have PORTION ISSUES! SERIOUSLY! An order EASILY feeds two people. The meat, ALL of them were PERFECTLY Rare as ordered! Jasmine rice is fluffy and well cooked. I had beans that were mixed with a "feijoada" kind of situation. I had bites off the meats, leaving more than half and enjoyed ALL the chicarron, beans, rice and a lamb chop off Hubby's plate. The food is fantastic! Not fine dining. Just REALLY GOOD FOOD! Everyone enjoyed their food, and everyone had take home! I, walked away with meat and lamb, thinking about steak and eggs for breakfast in the morning. Our server?! SPECTACULAR! Just loving, caring, professional, friendly. Yes, this is "Latin Style" cafeteria food - cafeteria on steroids style. Delicious. HUGE PORTIONS. Soul Satisfying. I will be back for the HUGE fried seafood plate! And rice and beans!

This year we came back because of how outstanding last year was. I ordered the chili again, even though I knew it meant I probably wouldn't eat my whole meal. My friend ordered the fish and chips and upgraded to truffle fries. She said it was probably the best fish and chips she's had. Now... for my meal... I am not exaggerating... BEST meal I have EVER had. Ever. I had the cod. Baked. With pesto, and sun-dried tomatoes. Served with roasted potatoes and spinach. So flaky. So tender. Perfectly cooked. The flavor was something straight from heaven. Breaks my heart I'm not local. I'd eat this weekly. All of the staff is always so friendly. A gentleman also checked in... not sure if he's a manager or owner. This is a top notch place. I'll definitely be back.

The lemon pepper wings were hardly seasoned. Also they were very dry. I could barely taste the lemon flavor. My fried cod fish sandwich was delicious though! With the exception of the wings every thing else was pretty good. Including the scallops and rice. They have lots of available parking. Can't comment on the dining in experience. Everything was called in for pick-up. So I would give this restaurant a 3.5 rating.
