Enjoyed coffees and breakfast sandwiches this morning from Cup 2 Cafe. Don't let the packed parking lot and lines deter you- the people working at this cute cafe are attentive and move the line along quickly. You can tell that there is a real family/community vibe to this location. Everyone seems to know everyone's names with lots of regulars! We waited about 15-20 minutes for our sandwiches after ordering and receiving our coffees quickly. A simple iced vanilla latte with oat milk truly hit the spot, and I wish I would've gotten a large! We sat on the spacious back patio area to enjoy our breakfast. We will absolutely be back! read more

I usually love Cup2cafe, but today I waited over a hour for a breakfast burrito. My drink was melted before I got my food. We were not warned in line that the wait would be so long. It would have been helpful to be warned before ordering. I usually wait 10 min on a weekend; 15 tops. The girl who ordered after me watched people who ordered hot breakfast way after us be given there order quickly. I asked twice and I was told I was next. There was no apology. Very frustrating. Not sure I'll be back. Which is sad because I loved their breakfast burritos and even drive 25 minutes for them. The lack of consideration of time plus no apology was just not cool. read more

First time here and it did not disappoint. The place seems small from the outside but it is actually quite spacious with many tables. It was busy in there and after tasting my latte I instantly understood why. One of the best coffees I've had to date! Went with the coconut cream latte with mocha drizzle and oat milk. Also so a chicken pesto on a garlic bagel and it hit all the right notes. It was flavorful, cheesy, and satisfying. Each bite had me craving more. Stopped by here twice (currently waiting for our order, on a Sunday morning) Yesterday, I got a triple medium banana creme pie latte with an asiago bagel and bacon scallion cream cheese. Came on a Sunday mid-morning and the place was very busy and parking lot full. Once inside I ordered a latte and chocolate croissant. Though busy I was able to find seating and the service was friendly and quick. I was disappointed by my order though. The coffee, though good in taste, was not good in temperature. They gave it to me luke warm as though it had been sitting out for awhile. If they hadn't been so busy I would have asked them to remake it but the line was long and the staff was moving quickly. They also did not heat up the croissant so just gave me a cold one with the chocolate hard in the middle. Most cafes automatically heat it for you so I didn't even think to ask. I'm going to chalk the experience up to the fact that they were busy and hopefully next time will be better. Inside is very cute and they do offer wifi. read more

Ever had a Chippi? Cup 2's 'The Cup' Is just like it. Super smooth, good coffee. The food here as well is fresh and never disappoints. Quick sandwiches that aren't too big. They are a little pricey, but at least I've never had a bad experience. The inside is a small little coffee shop look with a few seats and pretty calming. Husband and I have recently moved to Wareham and discovered this awesome little spot. The coffee cups are awesome and I've had some delicious lattes. The food is top notch as well, I particularly enjoy the breakfast blt which is my absolute favorite. All of the employees are really friendly and welcoming as well, and they start to recognize and greet you after only a few visits. In the summer the outdoor patio is lovely for those morning breakfasts. read more

Absolutely the best coffee shop in the Onset area. I always come at least twice every weekend I'm in town. Sooooo many coffee and latte flavor options. There can be long lines, but it generally moves pretty quickly. There's some seating inside and outside. The breakfast sandwiches are pretty good too. My only downside here is price. I saw on the specials board the Witch's Brew iced latte, which had some different fun flavors and toppings, so I had to try it. But when checking out, after tip it came to nearly $10. For a coffee! I was kind of surprised, especially as that's priced higher than I usually see even in Boston (where I live). Maybe put the prices on the specials board so it's not a shock when each component of the drink is priced as a separate add on. And swapping for oat milk is a whole $1 extra. read more

After staying near Onset in a home without a coffee pot, I only saw two viable options- instant coffee or a morning ride. As much as I resent changing out of pajamas for coffee, I'm so glad this place popped up on my yelp search. The menu has solid breakfast and lunch options. Breakfast entrees are mostly sandwiches or bagels, but the burrito is also delicious. The food is prepared quickly and tastes great. Plenty of coffee options hot or iced and I love their hazelnut flavored coffee. Service is super friendly and the patio and inside are welcoming. I mean after staying a week and visiting 3 times must equate to loving it right? Nice sized parking lot, plenty of tables outside for working and solid menu. This is like a Starbucks with better food and coffee. No shade intended, this place is just great. read more

Made a trip over to Cup2 for the busy weekend. We used to take the family here on weekends in the summer the past few years but after today I'm not sure it will continue. Don't get me wrong, their food and coffee is delicious, and you will never leave disappointed with the flavor of your meal. However, every time we have left Cup2, I've felt as if I've been robbed. Everything is so overpriced that it feels irrational to eat there. I wouldn't feel so bad spending $40 on breakfast for 3 people if the food was portioned more realistically. We all left hungry given that each sandwich was half of a normal sandwich, and the bagels were a fraction of the size of normal bagels. If they dropped their prices or increased their portions we would be back, but until that happens you will not find us there read more

We ordered 2 iced lattes, an iced coffee and a breakfast sandwich. The lattes were so thick and artificial tasting from the syrup that we had to throw them away & the iced coffee was so watered down we had to do the same. I also got a breakfast sandwich on an everything bagel... the bagel was undercooked. Not under toasted, but undercooked, to the point that it was chewy and not fully solid. I've gone here once before about a year ago and it was good, so not sure what has happened within the last year. read more

Probably the best coffee I have ever had! I tried the a specialty latte with banana and chocolate. I add soy milk and it was absolutely delicious! So smooth and such a delicious taste! It was my first time in here and I WILL be going back for more. It's an adorable place that has plenty of seating inside and out. The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable about their products. I was leaving the Cape and found this location on Yelp. It looked fabulous as a post-vacation departure meal, so I stopped here and ordered 2 smoothies and a small egg and cheese. I feel it's my duty as a customer to leave this review, for this business' lack of disclosure to pricing they have on their menus. The sandwich menu is reasonably priced and all prices are marked. However, the "specialty" smoothie menu does not have any pricing marked. The only pricing is on the main menu next to the cashier, which marks smoothies as approx $7. As someone who lived in NYC for ten years, I have NEVER purchased a smoothie that cost $12 and was always either given a head's up before being up-charged or was given "expensive smoothie ingredients" for free. I even ordered a smoothie in Massachusetts a week prior as we headed to the Cape, and that was only $10 and they did NOT charge me $1.50 for adding protein powder to mine, like this place did. I'm not disgruntled over the price as much as the lack of transparency- just re-make the menu with pricing. Not to mention, aside from the smoothie, I got a mediocre egg and cheese after waiting FOURTY minutes. I never would have purchased the food, particularly the smoothies, if I knew it cost that much NOR was I told I would be up-charged for the added powder which should be common courtesy to do. What is the worst part, prompting me to leave this review is: I even spoke to the manager that day to remedy the situation. She was rude and flippant, doing nothing to apologize or act like she cared. I called the next day to give them a chance before I left this review and she had the same unapologetic demeanor on the phone, finding excuses and reasons instead of simply saying she'll take it to heart that they should update their menu (or provide a small few dollars of credit). Marking as 2 stars because I was able to eat, and hope this review will help someone else know this place's pricing before coming here and waiting a long time for ok food. read more

Cup 2 Cafe is terrific. Nowhere else in the vicinity is offering anything remotely similar. They have coffee, smoothies and an array of sandwiches and breakfast sandwiches. You just order at the counter and then seat yourself while you're waiting. The girls behind the counter were so friendly and helpful. They have such good coffee! I got a large iced snickerdoodle and it was fantastic. Just like Olga's in Boston. We also tried their breakfast sandwiches. I had a bacon egg and cheese on a croissant and my counterpart had The Sheila: sausage, egg, feta and scallions on a toasted Portuguese muffin. So tasty! We also got these cute little hash brown sticks that they must do on a panini press. Delicious. It was 1,000,000 times better than Dunkin! We stayed for at least an hour at our sunny table, talking and finishing our coffee. They came over and cleared our plates at some point but otherwise never bothered us. They make a good cappuccino and my bf enjoyed the coffee. Everything was a fair price but my sandwich was a bit pricey. In addition I found multiple little black hairs/fuzzies on my sandwich but didn't have the heart to tell the lady when she walked by us asking us to like their facebook page (I did). We liked sitting in the sun room and talking for a while, it was a comfortable atmosphere. We would definitely go again. read more

Food and coffee were great! Service was excellent! Just a recommendation...you have 2 single use restrooms that are unfortunately labeled Men and Women. This makes it a line for women during the busy morning time when if the restrooms were simply labeled as restrooms, any gender could use either room at any time. Very disappointed in my visit. I ordered a specific way to my coffee (for diet restriction reasons) the cashier did not communicate that with the barista who added way to much additive. I threw it away after a few sips. The specialty frozen drink is completely filled with ice making it not worth the amount you would expect to come in it. The breakfast sandwich came on a piece of bread sliced in half, but only gave one side of the cut bread to make a sandwich! I ordered a specialty latte in hopes it would restore faith, after a sip it was even worse then the first one! I've made better mix drinks in college, I say that because the flavors literally tasted as disgusting and strong as a bad mix drink and this didn't even have alcohol in it! After spending around $30 on drinks and two skimpy sandwiches this place is NOT worth your money. read more

The old "Cup of the Bay 2" (tear I adored that name) closed in December much to many of the local patrons dismay. Fortunately, the establishment reopened this month under a new name "Cup 2," along with a new staff, a newly renovated patio, inside renovations and some crazy technological updates. It's perfectly located on Cranberry Highway, before Buzzards Bay, on the way to the Borne Bridge. The original owner of Cup of the Bay, ran an establishment located on central street in Onset, MA. Each summer this coffee house captured a little piece of my heart. It was a picture perfect, old Victorian home, serving up amazing mixtures of different coffee blends, fresh bagels and homemade cream cheese. All within walking distance of my summer home and the beach. They shut down last year and Onset just hasn't been the same since. But! At lease there was still Cup of the Bay 2. Patrons shifted from the primary hot spot in Onset, to this updated version, with an amazing outdoor patio. Last summer, while studying for the bar exam, I'd go in early, start a tab with one of the girls and order iced snickerdoodle coffees and Mexican Lattes and do bar questions in the sun all day!! (yes I actually passed). In December, when my boyfriend heard rumors that they were closing the second location, I was devastated. With the thought of my summer coffee spot gone, I got in my car, drove down from Boston, only to find a sign on the door saying that they were no longer open for business. You can imagine how excited I was to hear that this new "Cup 2" had opened up. It still has the same "Cup of the Bay" feel, just with a more modern touch. You can order delicious paninis and all of the old "Cup of the Bay's" coffees on a kiosk. The place has been completely re-designed, and the patio has further improvements. Bottom line, same old "Cup of the Bay" with a new look, new food, new management and possibly new owners? Hopefully not new prices! read more

I've never written a Yelp review before but I had to after the experience I had at this establishment -- with the staff. Given it was a holiday weekend, Labor Day, I would have to say it must have caused a level of stress that the staff had never experienced before. After dealing with a chaotic, disorganized, and undersized parking lot, I finally made my way into a small, narrow hallway were we stood in line around the corner from the ordering cash register. There was no way to see what was on the menu until we uncovered the laminated menu on the counter in front of the cashier. The ordering system cash register broke down when placing our order and the cashier (who seemed to be the owner) was repeatedly barking orders at the staff to account for the broken system. This approach wasn't working ... it was obvious. Her own staff (most likely relatives in some capacity) were yelling back at her with frustration during the process. Well, needless to say, after a 45 minute delay and repeated attempts to get an update on our order we asked for our money back. The cashier didn't know how to reverse our credit card purchase so we suggested using cash ... she did. During that waiting period, the high school staff were especially rude stating the orders were processed in the order received ... well our order was never sent from the cash register to the staff ... and we watched numerous people who came in after us walk away with their orders. My only goal with this review is to remind the owner and staff that they can't get away with treating customers as if they are disposable. The quaint place has a lot of potential especially if you live in the area and they know your order before you ask. What I also realized after a really bad breakfast experience ... because I had never had such an experience before ... it can ruin your entire day. Even a bad dinner stays on your mind for just a few hours before you sleep it off. A bad breakfast experience, especially rude staff, stays with you all day. Onward, upward. read more
