The service was Amazing we came here twice my first time I got a Oat Latte. The second time we came I got an Oat Latte and Avocado Toast (I'm a vegan ) they have several different options! My fiancé got a breakfast burrito it looked amazing. I would highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Again the staff are amazing.

Delicious food and coffee. Incredibly high prices, and they got my order wrong 2 of the 3 times I went over a week.

Salmon ceviche and drinks (mock and real) were solid and entrees were spectacular. The cod dish on the menu with whipped potatoes is a must have. The new location not as quaint as old house but it's bigger and in the pitch it still has the homey feel. A must stop for us each year on the vineyard.

The next thing you'll notice is that the staff is very friendly and really trying to manage the chaos that is being caused by a chaotic kitchen. We were seated directly in-front of the kitchen, so we saw everything: - two or three wait staff anxiously waiting for orders in front of the service station (pick-up) area; - a chef continually looking at an inappropriate movie that was playing on a screen that was oddly positioned where the kitchen staff could view it (WHY) - a kitchen staff that was either doing nothing or working frantically - this is an indication of very poor management; - mediocre appetizers but passable - the entrées were ridiculously poor. I'll only describe mine to save time, but trust each of four were failures. The nerve to send to the table a beautiful piece of blue fin tuna that smelled like the gas used by a small propane gun, that had been partially burned - like on 1/2 of the fish. This shows zero respect for this beautiful creature or the people who ordered it. The lobster risotto that was beneath the fish was cold, lacked any flavor of lobster, and looked as though it had been thrown on the plate from across the room, and then to have the nerve to charge $60 + dollars is ridiculous. We of course requested to speak with the manager, who immediately came to our table, empathized and apologized, we felt heard. He then comped our entire meal which was very generous and appreciated. The chef then came over to apologize, and stated, "I'm so sorry, we dropped a pan and that threw everything off". WHAT? Buddy, we sat there and watched the chaos in your kitchen. The problemS, are not the result of a dropped pan. Apology appreciated, lame excuse was unnecessary and again demonstrated a lack of respect or intelligence. I may return alone, just to see if anything has changed or what show is on the TV.

While this rating is solely for today's breakfast, I will say when I was visiting family back in 2019, the salad was decent, the BBQ Pulled Pork Burger with onion rings was pretty great, and I was very very happy with the create your own Burger from the Open Kitchen (Potato bun, burger, cheddar, tomato, arugula, pickled red onions, caramelized onions, and some kind of special sauce). I was actually a bit sad back then the day we left knowing they had some kind of lamb meatballs I never got to try. So when I had to go today to bring my wife for a procedure, she told me I could just go back home and wait. Oh no, I was looking forward to this. This cafeteria had been calling my name for years now. I will say the online menu needs to be updated as they mentioned biscuits and gravy, and I was looking forward to that, but there were none to be found (That being said, it may have been at a different station I didn't see, so that could be on me). What I did see, though, was a short line for a hot breakfast and some very cheesy chourico scrambled eggs (online lists chorizo, but label said chourico). I was actually hoping for a bit more spice, but it had a nice flavor, the eggs were not dried out in the slightest, and thankfully the cheese was mostly on top so it wasn't over powering. Could have been a larger scramble, but we're splitting hairs here. Along side that I got a decent portion of the corned beef hash, nice and moist, but not too greasy, and two scoops of freshly dropped home fries (the menu labels them as hash browns, but these are not). After tax it came to $7.35, which for the portion size isn't too bad. Honestly, if the parking fees started at 1 hour instead of only up to 30 minutes being free, I wouldn't mind just dropping by for a bite to eat. I really can't say I've had a bad meal here. It's not some jaw dropping level of Michelin star cuisine, but for the speed and the price, it's hard to beat. Hospital food or not.
