Mihaela!!! THAT'S THE REVIEW…read more Seriously, this was easily one of the best dining experiences we had. We were passing by and hadn't even committed to eating here when Mihaela, the Front of House Manager, greeted us with the most infectious, bubbly energy and convinced us to come in for dinner. BEST. DECISION. EVER. The food was amazing. The drinks were great. The service was wonderful. Ivona took great care of us, but Mihaela truly made the entire experience. Her personality is EVERYTHING -- warm, light, bubbly, hilarious, welcoming and just genuinely kind. She checked on us, made us feel completely at home, and somehow even ended up making a special playlist for us. From there, it was OVER. We were vibing, singing, eating and drinking all night. That's hospitality. There are plenty of places where you can get good food, but it's rare to encounter someone who can completely change the energy of your evening just by being herself. Mihaela did exactly that. We walked in as customers and left feeling like we'd been hanging out with friends all night. 10/10 experience. Give Mihaela a raise, a bonus, a vacation, SOMETHING. She is an absolute asset to this place, and I literally adore her. We will absolutely be back.

The little garden seating area is shaded, green,…read moreand really charming -- definitely the kind of place where you want to sit, chat, and enjoy a meal. And it was PACKED when I visited, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were a major letdown. I ordered the breakfast bowl, and for the price, it tasted like a pretty basic microwave meal. The eggs had that watery/sweaty texture you get from reheated food, the sausage tasted like a microwaved frozen patty, and I'm pretty sure the salsa was straight out of a Pace/Tostinos jar. Even the jalapeños were the pickled kind rather than fresh. For the price point, I expected something fresher and more thoughtfully prepared. I also ordered a shaken espresso, specifically because I wanted something coffee-forward with just a little milk. Instead, mine was overwhelmingly milky and barely tasted like espresso. Definitely not what I was hoping for. One other thing that really bothered me was the setup around the utensils -- the straws and forks were positioned right next to what appeared to be dirty/used water from the sanitation area. It just wasn't particularly appetizing or confidence-inspiring. I'm honestly surprised this place has such a strong local following because the experience just didn't live up to the hype for me. The garden is lovely and the atmosphere has potential, but at these prices, I expect significantly better food, drinks, and attention to cleanliness.

A gentleman kindly offered to open the door, and as the three of us chatted, we stepped just inside. A woman immediately met us at the door and loudly told us that we needed to go back outside and order at the window. We were confused and flustered, especially because the interior appeared open to customers, with small items and trinkets displayed for sale. She gave us no opportunity to look around, ask a question, or understand how the café operated--only the feeling that we needed to scramble back outside. We would have been perfectly happy to order at the window had the process simply been explained to us with basic courtesy. Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and unwelcoming, so we left. As did the man. So can't speak to the food or the "service" overall
