Instead, the interaction felt unnecessarily harsh and unwelcoming, so we left. As did the man. So can't speak to the food or the "service" overall

I ordered the breakfast bowl, and for the price, it tasted like a pretty basic microwave meal. The eggs had that watery/sweaty texture you get from reheated food, the sausage tasted like a microwaved frozen patty, and I'm pretty sure the salsa was straight out of a Pace/Tostinos jar. Even the jalapeños were the pickled kind rather than fresh. For the price point, I expected something fresher and more thoughtfully prepared. I also ordered a shaken espresso, specifically because I wanted something coffee-forward with just a little milk. Instead, mine was overwhelmingly milky and barely tasted like espresso. Definitely not what I was hoping for. One other thing that really bothered me was the setup around the utensils -- the straws and forks were positioned right next to what appeared to be dirty/used water from the sanitation area. It just wasn't particularly appetizing or confidence-inspiring. I'm honestly surprised this place has such a strong local following because the experience just didn't live up to the hype for me. The garden is lovely and the atmosphere has potential, but at these prices, I expect significantly better food, drinks, and attention to cleanliness.

After 20 minutes I realized no one was even making my food. I thought I was going to rip my own hair out. Absolutely awful. They need to get their act together and stop resting on their fudge laurels if this place is going to last.
