Looking for breakfast looking for a fun place to eat instead of some fancy imase five star restaurant in Edgartown is where you can take your family go on a morning date and watch some hard workers put together some basic but very yummy items. They take credit cards over $10 but I'm sure they welcome cash more with a nice tip. The service is quick and everything's made fresh right in front of your eyes like a couple feet away from your eyes actually everything's tight and fun good music in the background if you're in Edgartown and looking for a quick to go order and it's before 1:30 PM this is your spot

Wonderful! When you're here you feel like you're at home. It has that lovely cafeteria vibe from a time you thought no longer exists - where the staff knows the regular's names. The food is great and so is the coffee Go!

Every time I walked past this store, there was a line of people. I saw locals and tourists lining up for coffee, breakfast, snacks. etc. We stopped for a coffee and the service was prompt, friendly and the coffee was very good. During the pandemic, they basically had a counter where you order and then take out your food or drink. Located near the marina in Edgartown, the setting is very pretty and close to the water, so you can eat or drink as you stroll near the ocean.

My mom has been coming here for 40 years and I've been coming for 28. Our favorite breakfast spot on the island. Quick, delicious, casual, and fun to watch them cook on the griddle! Everyone is super friendly and the food is consistently great.

I could kick myself for not doing this before. Dock Street Coffee Shop is the BEST OF THE BEST. Their breakfast is amazing but I've been coming for years just to order the same thing. Steak & Cheese, Well done bacon & Mayo. I wish I could explain in words how this hits the spot EVERY TIME! I've never had a bad experience and it's nestled in the cutest little spot that not only feels intimate but it's the best location you can have! I know men work there but so often I see mostly women and I don't want that to go unnoticed. Hard working women are what make businesses run smoother sometime and I wanted to highlight that as well. This place feels like home and I don't care if the pictures do it justice cause the taste is out of this world! This is a rare place that I can say needs no improvement! The vibe, staff & food are PERFECT!!!!!

Hidden gem of Edgartown! I've tried likely every breakfast there is in town from fancy to take out and this was my favorite experience by far. Friendly doesn't even do the staff justice they are incredible and the food is perfectly simple! Everything you could want from a no frills long standing local diner! We will be back!

Take out breakfast after early morning fishing. Dock St never disappoints! Not exactly the healthy heart breakfast but it was great.

Covered with canopies, it's so nice to sit in the shade and enjoy the outdoors. Full bar. They serve breakfast, lunch, dinner, dessert, and so many beverages. They make cocktails, mocktails, teas, and coffees. I really enjoyed my iced mint latte and iced matcha latte. They take reservations for dinner only. Otherwise, you can show up and try and find a table, which can be challenging because it's very popular. You'll order inside and they'll deliver it to your table. I really enjoyed my breakfast here. The Crispy Hash Brown Stack is a delicious vegan option with fabulous hash browns, mushrooms, vegan pimento cheese, avocado, pickled onions and arugula. The flavors really popped and the whole dish was delicious and filling. The cocktails looked amazing so I wish I had made it back to their Hemingway Bar. Excellent and friendly service. Lovely experience!

Mihaela!!! THAT'S THE REVIEW…read more Seriously, this was easily one of the best dining experiences we had. We were passing by and hadn't even committed to eating here when Mihaela, the Front of House Manager, greeted us with the most infectious, bubbly energy and convinced us to come in for dinner. BEST. DECISION. EVER. The food was amazing. The drinks were great. The service was wonderful. Ivona took great care of us, but Mihaela truly made the entire experience. Her personality is EVERYTHING -- warm, light, bubbly, hilarious, welcoming and just genuinely kind. She checked on us, made us feel completely at home, and somehow even ended up making a special playlist for us. From there, it was OVER. We were vibing, singing, eating and drinking all night. That's hospitality. There are plenty of places where you can get good food, but it's rare to encounter someone who can completely change the energy of your evening just by being herself. Mihaela did exactly that. We walked in as customers and left feeling like we'd been hanging out with friends all night. 10/10 experience. Give Mihaela a raise, a bonus, a vacation, SOMETHING. She is an absolute asset to this place, and I literally adore her. We will absolutely be back.

Arrived back to my beloved Martha's Vineyard island and after finding out our breakfast fave was…read moreclosed, I realized we were about 100ft away from the restaurant my host's named Best Breakfast on the island. This is a cute causal setting. Upon arrival they informed of 10-20 minute wait if I opted for counter dining. I agreed and was pleasantly surprised with a table that opened up within 10 minutes. We ordered the peach pancake special, chicken and waffles, and the Cowboy Up frittata. Presentation of the food is A+ Yet... My husband took one of bite of his chicken and made a strange face. He said it tasted "off". By the time I received my frittata and pancakes and bit into them, nothing had any flavor. Pancakes taste like they flipped bland flour and eggs, frittata as though not one lick of seasoning hit the batch of eggs. I started surveying the person next me because I was truly surprised. She said she's been going there for 10 years and the food is usually good. She recommended I say something, so I asked our server if I could speak with manager. I explained why to her and she returned stating that they have discounted the food. Soon after the ?chef came over. Rapidly asked what's wrong with the food. As I tried to explain, she kept cutting me off with a rebuttal. She eventually walked away interrupting the conversation. She then walks back, not sure if conviction hit her. She apologized saying sorry if it felt like i wasnt listening. I said that's exactly what it felt it. I said I didn't understand why she would come ask me for feedback if you weren't going to listen. She said she had several orders to take care of, and, yet again, prematurely ended the conversation. I'm not sure what purpose she was trying to serve, but there's nothing like having a terrible dining experience to then top it off with disrespectful staff.

Espresso Love has such a cute first impression! The little garden seating area is shaded, green,…read moreand really charming -- definitely the kind of place where you want to sit, chat, and enjoy a meal. And it was PACKED when I visited, so I had high hopes. Unfortunately, the food and drinks were a major letdown. I ordered the breakfast bowl, and for the price, it tasted like a pretty basic microwave meal. The eggs had that watery/sweaty texture you get from reheated food, the sausage tasted like a microwaved frozen patty, and I'm pretty sure the salsa was straight out of a Pace/Tostinos jar. Even the jalapeños were the pickled kind rather than fresh. For the price point, I expected something fresher and more thoughtfully prepared. I also ordered a shaken espresso, specifically because I wanted something coffee-forward with just a little milk. Instead, mine was overwhelmingly milky and barely tasted like espresso. Definitely not what I was hoping for. One other thing that really bothered me was the setup around the utensils -- the straws and forks were positioned right next to what appeared to be dirty/used water from the sanitation area. It just wasn't particularly appetizing or confidence-inspiring. I'm honestly surprised this place has such a strong local following because the experience just didn't live up to the hype for me. The garden is lovely and the atmosphere has potential, but at these prices, I expect significantly better food, drinks, and attention to cleanliness.
