Stopped by Corner Table with my partner on a walk around downtown earlier. We've previously frequented the spot because they had a good chia seed pudding. We just wanted an iced latte today. When checking out, we were surprised the prices were higher than our last visit. The barista asked what milk we wanted, so we asked if there was an upcharge for alternative milks. Came here for coffee this morning and had a good experience. Ordered a large mocha and caramel macchiato. The mocha was delicious but the macchiato was just four shots of espresso with caramel syrup and no milk. The latter was not great. The server was super friendly and charismatic. Stopped by for some caffeine and a bakery item for very early breakfast after we got off of the Ferry at Nantucket around 7 am. It was one of the few places open for breakfast. There is a decent selection of breakfast bakery products, and we picked up a cranberry scone for $5...it was a lot more flaky and light than I'm used to a scone to be. Love the fact that there was a complementary still and bubbly water dispenser that you could use as well. We also got a small latte for $6, with whole or skim milk being the choices. Service was OK. I am very happy our original choice for breakfast this morning was closed, because we would have missed out on what may have been possibly the best cafe breakfast I've had. I sampled the Chorizo, Egg + Cotija Cheese Breakfast Sandwich, Blondie, Cinnamon Munchkins, and Cilantro carrots. The sandwich was hands-down the best chorizo I've had. All of the sandwiches are pre-made and in the chill case, which then can be warmed up. The cilantro carrots were perfectly cooked and inspired me to scour the internet for copycat recipes. Coffee and the munchkins were a perfect end to the meal. Others in our party raved about the Kale Salad and Roast Beef sandwich. There was a line out the door when we arrived on a Saturday morning. I've been going to Nantucket every year since 2019 and grabbing a drink and a treat here on my morning walks is always a must. All of the food tasters fresh and homemade, with a variety of options. I do wish there were more vegetarian sandwiches, not that I'm vegetarian but I don't always want to be eating meat. The drinks are unique with a variety of options that makes ordering exciting. It's right in the middle of town, and the ambiance is quaint. The service is as fast and cheerful as possible, but I will say the line is usually out the door. Sometimes the drink assembly line gets clogged up if there's too many customers and you could be waiting in line for twenty minutes for a a drink for another five. However, if you miss the mid morning rush, it's a great early morning or early afternoon treat. Great place with air conditioning to sit and read with a lavender matcha. read more

Solid cafe with plenty of options, perfect place to grab a coffee and some food and head to the beach to have a small breakfast. We got the yogurt with granola, marble cake, scallion cheddar scone and an iced latte. Iced latte was okay, milk and coffee ratio was off, way too much milk. Marble cake was fine, nothing out of the ordinary but the yogurt was really good with fresh raspberry preserves and definitely, DEFINITELY, try the scallion cheddar scone. It was hands down on of my favorite things while on vacation in Nantucket. It wasn't too sharp, perfectly salty, and not too hard. Came here after a morning bike ride the other day to get a quick bite to eat. We ordered the Classic Breakfast Sandwich (pre-made but they heated it up), the Bagel Platter (pre-made but the bagel is toasted) and a Mocha Iced Coffee. Last second I added a Flourless Choc Cake (also ore-made) to the order. For fast/pre-made the classic sandwich was one of the best I've had - loved the chorizo sausage party. The bagel platter had a ton of fresh fixings - whipped cream cheese, smoked salmon, pickled onions, capers, and cucumber - which I used to make a sandwich. The flourless cake was good but SO rich - recommend eating with a glass of milk and/or sharing with a few friends. The service was amazing which really pushed it over to the 5 stars. Very friendly and helpful and one of the guys brought our mocha out when I stupidly forgot we ordered it. We also tried the Cubano (also pre-made) on a previous occasion and it was one of the best of those ice had too. If you want something quick and still fresh/tasty this is the spot for you! read more

Just came back from our first trip to Nantucket! So many places to try and enjoy, but this place we will go back too! We were doing a lot ( a LOT) of walking and we needed a coffee, Yelp'd and found we were close to the Corner. We went in and the had a soup special - OMG it was perfect, meaty, not salty, full of vegetables, Perfect. I had the ice tea brewed. We went back for coffee this time and it was fantastic. I added a shot of espresso and it was smooth and rich. A very tasty lemon square was a treat we shared. We sat outside one time and one time inside, both comfortable and clean. Asher, Lee, Chef Todd, and the amazing team at The Corner Table Cafe's Culinary Center put together a one-of-a-kind honeymoon experience for my wife and I!! I came across TCTC while searching for a fun activity to plan during our stay on Nantucket. Asher got to know which restaurants we'd be visiting while on the island, asked about our dietary preferences, and our culinary desires. With this information, she and Chef Todd crafted an amazing sushi-centric menu for us to make. My wife and I had been talking for years about wanting to make our own sushi rolls, and this culinary lesson was the best opportunity to learn the skills we needed to become beginner at-home sushi chefs! Chef Todd was eager and willing to let us get our hands (and aprons) dirty as we prepped the ingredients and Lee made sure the drinks we were consuming paired extremely well with the food. Both Lee and Chef Todd spent over 3 hours cooking and talking with us about their culinary backgrounds, love of the island, and other topics. The finished product was an amazing meal, great drinks, and wonderful conversation. Everyone will tell you this is the best coffee on island and I'd have to agree! I love a specialty latte as much as the next person but my true measure of great coffee is black cold brew, and theirs is GREAT. Not burnt, not bitter- full of flavor and smooth. I've been to The Corner Table before during Thanksgiving last year. I am updating my review for them because my experience this year was much better than my experience last year. Last time I visited, it wasn't particularly bad, the food was just OK, there was nothing special to the experience, and it was really crowded and cramped in the shop. This time, I went with a friend and we both ordered a coffee-based drink. First plus: the drinks are HUGE. I've never received a larger cup to drink a coffee out of. It was awesome. Though Vietnamese coffee is not usually served any way other than iced, the worker assured me that a hot Vietnamese coffee was easy to do. Turns out, it was just as delicious ! A little on the sweeter side? Yes, but it hit the spot. I wouldn't recommend coming here for breakfast or lunch (or when you're hungry for that matter). However, if you're looking for a cute place to have a delicious, hot drink, The Corner Table is the place to be. It is also a great place to study and do work if you can find a table. The food here is somewhat limited in selection and options, but it is really great and wholesome stuff. The steak sandwich is basically thin and tender slices of grilled steak with grilled mushrooms and cheese. We had it the first day on whole grain bread, cold. The second day we got a couple in the panini form, heated, to down on the ferry back to the Cape. Selection varies from day to day and they will not do anything to order. The chicken salad was not available as a sandwich the first day we went, so we got a tub of that and a toasted bagel and made a sandwich ourself. They couldn't make a sandwich to order and they don't sell bread. That was a bit odd and frustrating. The salads come in large mason jars. You dump them out into a bowl and mix. If you're getting it to go, be sure to ask for cardboard to-go container as it won't be easy to eat the salad out of the jar as it's packed tight and the ingredients are not mixed. We also nabbed a Chocolate Chia pudding with blueberries, strawberry, and coconut. It was really delicious and hit the spot after a nice lunch. Food wise, it's definitely solid. A great place to grab food for a picnic as we did before we did the Sconset Bluff Walk to the lighthouse, or for food to take on the ferry. Plenty of people eating there and working, coffee-shop style. The only caveat is that the prices are pretty steep, like $14 for a salad in a jar, etc. Still, we hit it twice, so a solid choice. I'd call it 4.5 stars. read more

So sad I didn't find this gem until we were leaving! I grabbed a coffee and Portuguese breakfast sandwich for breakfast and got a salad to eat later on the plane. Everything was so good and hit the spot! The sandwich was such a comfort, honestly that's the only word that comes to mind, pure comfort! The salad I chose(can't remember the name) had chickpeas, raisins, kale, peppers, heaven, sweet potatoes and quinoa. I loved this so much I've since tried remaking it at home multiple times! It was filling, sweet, salty, tangy, just everything you want from a salad. It also held up incredibly well while traveling. Love the food at this place. They have incredible recipes, and I've been coming to this place for a year. I absolutely love the wraps and cream cheese bagel spreads. However, I'm not sure what's happened this summer, but service has gotten terrible. No one writes names on cups, so people often take the wrong drink. It's chaos, and the baristas don't seem to care that people aren't getting the drinks they paid for. Also, there seems to be no organization for making food.
