They have a big menu of burgers and sandwiches. They also serve ice cream, which appeared to be very popular. We got the wipeout turkey sandwich and added fries. The sandwich was great, exactly what we're looking for, and came with a mountain of fries. They were crispy, salty, and delicious. It was enough to split. You order inside, and then they bring the food out to your table. They have picnic benches and umbrellas for you to enjoy them outside. Super grateful that Yummy exists at this location. They provided much needed breakfast, snacks and caffeine in the area and our rental was in the his area. It's a pleasant, friendly space that won't be in the running for any Michelin stars or James Beard awards... but Yummy is just perfect for a roadside stop on the way to or from somewhere by bike. They have just the sort of low brow grilled cheese my kids go for (made with white bread, American and cheddar cheeses), competent burgers, fries, smoothies, chia pudding, cold brew coffee, ice cream. Over the years, the menu has expanded to include fancy schmancy sandwiches and salads. Very nice humans work there. Although the cast of characters changes from year to year, all staff we've ever encountered have been absolutely lovely. On a nice day, one could do much worse than to eat outside at one of the umbrella covered picnic tables! We'll keep coming back as long as it's there. read more

A solid spot if you're nearby looking for sustenance. While nothing we ordered was something we'd come back for, it was a quick option. It seemed as if everything was very quickly prepared without a lot of attention to detail. I get it: summer, short staffed, etc... but this place isn't cheap. We went with 3 smoothies, an acai bowl and a veggie wrap. Unfortunately, the smoothies were flavorless with large chunks of ice. They were fine? But I wouldn't say good. The acai bowl to go, ended up being soup (we only drove a few minutes). Tasty soup, but ultimately not frozen at all. I did overhear the cashier tell the guys making the food to next time put the food in the freezer not the fridge, so I'd imagine that didn't help on the very humid day. But if that was the case, check and make sure what you're sending out is good and if not, remake it. The veggie wrap was the tastiest of the order, but it consisted of 90% lettuce instead of the good stuff: eggplant and other accoutrements. Maybe the burgers are the move? Parking is limited, but if you're on a bike, it's a nice stop on the bike path with some nice picnic tables outside, including some in the shade. read more

This place is just not great. Went on a Tuesday morning and wasn't busy at all. Ordered a few acai bowls with extra peanut butter ($2) and was told that they were running low on granola so some bowls may not have it. Okay fine. We asked if they could add more of or another to substitute it. What was given to us about 25 minutes later was watery and flavorless acai bowls from a can probably and very sad toppings. We weren't given any granola or extra toppings as a substitute. Just avoid this place please. read more

The food here is really good. I've tried the salads, the sandwiches, and the burgers--all excellent! The ice cream is good, too. One thing I would say, like many others have pointed out, the smoothies here are NOT good at all. 45 Surfside Cafe is just up the road within walking distance and has much better smoothies. The downside is that they (45 Surfside) close early. The good thing about Yummy is that they're open pretty late. read more

Yummy was our best find on the island. We were within walking distance and took full advantage with breakfast stops, lunch stops and ice cream for dessert. The Surf Chix sandwich is delicious and fresh we ordered it quite a few times and it never disappointed. The smoothies and acai bowls were great as was the ice cream. The hot dog kids meal is a great choice for the picky kids. I also really enjoyed my cod po' boy sandwich for lunch one day. This is such a great little place with so much flavor and freshness. COFFEE REVIEW ONLY--Adorable little spot so we stopped to grab a coffee and sit outside. Well... I'm sad to say this was the worst iced coffee I've ever had. I honestly thought I accidentally poured myself iced tea (they do a dispenser so it's help yourself). It was that weak. Maybe they poured hot coffee over ice and it melted and they added more? Hm. Mystery. NOW, the smoothies looked good, the staff was friendly, and the outdoor seating was great, but man... that coffee was hugely disappointing. And something you'd think they'd get right. This was my favorite place to grab a bite to eat on the island! Everything on their menu sounded delicious and if I had more time here, I probably would have tried everything! I loved their forest indulgence smoothie as well as their Surf Chix sandwich. The sandwich bread was soft and fluffy, and it was CIABATTA. Who knew ciabatta bread could be soft?! I've never experienced that before. I would definitely return here to try another sandwich, smoothie, or an acai bowl. Good food but I am not pleased with the register person. Choosing to tip or not should be the customers choice. While I was removing my card from the machine and putting it in my wallet the clerk reached over and hit the 20% tip button before I could react. Love this place! Haven't had anything here I don't like. This is one of those hidden in plain sight places that is easy to miss as you drive by, but it is worth the stop. Today I ordered the lobster roll and was blown away by the flavour burst in every juicy bite. Moreover, the portion is the largest I've seen on the island. If that wasn't enough, the bun comes perfectly buttered and toasted and has the softest hint of sweetness, which makes it a perfect husband to cradle its crustacean bride!
