Cute town market. The market is a tripe D feature! We tried the sandwich he featured. It was good. The service was fast which was impressive dive they were very busy!

    Receipt from our atrocious breakfast.

I waited 25 minutes for a cold breakfast sandwich that was over priced and a tiny little portion. Plus I asked for avocado and it wasn't put on the sandwich. Awful. Then on my google review the owner replied to me SO rudely that this is a "fake" review. Why would I purposefully make a bad review of a restaurant? I actually made this review while sitting at a table on their porch. He claims they don't wrap their sandwiches in foil but mine was a gluten allergy so I'm guessing that's why...otherwise the owner is lying in order to get bad reviews taken down. I have added my receipt as additional proof in case the sketchy owner tries to get these ones taken down as well. Now instead of the one review I posted on google I am adding it to yelp, find me gluten free, and multiple other places because what an atrocious response to a bad review.

Cute little market with some really nice outdoor seating. We went on a Tuesday morning and there were lots of open tables. We ordered the breakfast burrito and the skinny wrap with turkey sausage and both were tasty.

The food is just okay. Tried two sandwiches, breakfast, truffle fries, a brookie and a peanut butter cookie. The sandwiches were not very tasty, somehow too wet and dry at the same time. The fries were over seasoned and under cooked. The brookie was not very good. The peanut butter cookie was the only part of the meal that we finished. The service is fantastic - such nice people who are patient and kind. It's a nice stop for coffee and some market treats. There is a communal table inside with additional bar seating, then a patio with outdoor heating. Overall ambiance is nice.

Omg LOVE LOVE LOVED this place. We stopped in for lunch. We had limited time to catch the Alpacas before closing time and I loved that we were able to order ahead and save time. I also love the variety of vegetarian options offered but this did make decision making more difficult. I HAD to go with the Lucy Vincent with harissa roasted cauliflower, vegan garlic aioli, spinach, pickled red onions and smashed garbanzo beans. I requested they omit and onions and was very grateful that they complied. This was honestly one of the best sandwiches I have had in recent memory. It was such a treat to have something unique rather than a standard/classic sandwich. The cauliflower and smashed garbanzo beans provided an incredible texture and the flavors were out of this world. The contrast of the sandwich contents with crispy ciabatta was the icing on the cake. I am still blown away by how spectacular this sandwich was. GF ordered a lobster roll with a side of their hand-cut french fries. She enjoyed her roll BUT I have to comment on the sheer quantity of fries that was included in the order. It was absurd. It was literally an entire brown bag worth of fries. They're seasoned with parmesan truffle and are DELICIOUS. I wish they delivered to central mass lmao.

Waterside Market is the perfect place to stop for lunch or really any time of the day! They have a large menu with salads, sandwiches, and breakfastI would recommend getting a sandwich. Inside they have some prepared/grab and go foods as well as a large selection of drinks. The ingredients are really high quality and delicious. Xc There is limited outdoor seating but it is great for takeout if you can't find a table. I would definitely recommend coming here.

Per good Yelp reviews stopped by at waterside market for brunch today. Made a good choice. Nice little place w friendly staff. Just 2 mins from ferry landing. Had the hot chocolate and we ordered the egg Benedict w avocado , egg benefit w lobster, breakfast burrito and Tex max breakfast. The eggs Benedict's cake with breakfast potatoes which was very good. All generous portions n delicious. Not a morsel left. Was a rainy gloomy day so sat outside on the porch and enjoyed the food. Thank you 4 a great breakfast. Will be back when in the vineyard again.

YES! Yum. It may be pricey but it is worth it!!! My husband and I both got the C.A.B sandwich and even though I just ate it, I want another! It was so so good. I want to try and make it at home. Well worth it. We also got the ranch fries but they were really overcooked so to me, $9 for them wasn't worth it but you do get a HUGE bag of them. I mean HUGE bag. It could be split between a family of 4-5. The sandwiches are where it's at though. If you like smoothies, the ones they offer in the fridge are to die for. So so fresh. The service was quick too!

I came over to Martha's Vineyard on a mid afternoon ferry and on the trip over i ordered a couple of sandwiches to go. It was easy to order and pay online so when we arrived our sandwiches were ready to go and I was able to avoid the ordering line which is typical. The whole ordering and pick up was easy and our sandwiches were delicious. It's a great way to go if you are in a hurry or just need to get some food to carry on. This is a good establishment to know about if you're on the Vineyard.

My favorite wine was in stock

The Firebird cocktail I ordered delighted the entire crowd, since it comes out in a Polynesian head and is aflame. Frankly, the presentation of the food was also spectacular, especially the swordfish club sandwich. I loved the oysters with kimchi paste (a new condiment for me and so good.) The pork belly. The lobster on little tacos. (We were there for 3 hours since the weather was wet and we were talking up our own storm.) My friend knows many good establishments on MV and 9 Craft certainly is. Cheers.

It's been a while since I wrote a food review; I just haven't had the time lately. But after our…read moreexperience last night, I reconsidered. So we went to 9 Craft Kitchen for what we thought would be a higher-tier food experience for my wife's birthday. We do this almost every year we are here in MV. I originally booked at Atria (Edgertown) but canceled and booked here because we did Atria the last time we were here. From the moment we entered the establishment, the hostesses greeted us almost coldly, without many words. I explained that I initially booked the reservation for 3, but our son got sick at the last minute, so it would be just the two of us. Sometimes there are sensitivities around the party size, but the restaurant was completely empty. She sat us down in the back of the room, without much interaction. That's fine, but it goes against the warmth other restaurants show guests when they enter. Several minutes later (about 10) a waiter shows up with water, again, no words, and leaves. She comes back a few moments later with menus and returns a minute later with a question about the drinks we are going to order. The whole interaction has my wife lifting her eyebrow in a manner that I understood as, "That's weird." There was a coldness that was present, which at first we thought maybe was because the place was empty. It was 4 p.m., so right after the lunch crowd, but before the dinner rush. So we ordered drinks, and that interaction was fine; the drinks arrived with a bit more interaction and professionalism when she said, I hope you enjoy your drinks. Would you like to order appetizers and/or dinner? Ok, so maybe the in-between reservation was unusual for them. Ok, I get it. We ordered a few appetizers and 2 entrees. I went to the bathroom, and I could see the wait staff huddled together, laughing at something. When I came back to my seat, they were still huddled together, laughing at something. That didn't bother me, since they weren't busy, but it also explains the lack of interaction and the pause between menus and drinks being served. We didn't wait long for our appetizers. But that's where the issues really start to rear their heads. By the time she brought the appetizers, we had already finished our drinks. We were going to ask for another round, but she brought the appetizers so quickly that I guess she forgot to ask. We ate our appetizers, and there was about a 25-minute wait before she came to remove them and make room for our entrees. We thought she would interact with us then and ask how our appetizers were or whether we wanted another round of drinks. Silly me, she did neither. She removed the apps and came back within the next 2 minutes with our entrees. At this point, she asked if we needed anything else. I said no, and she left. After we ate our entrees, she came back and asked if we needed anything else. I said no, just the check. The whole experience was rushed, as if we were interrupting staff service or something. Bad service happens sometimes. All of us have had bad days in the office or at work. Somehow, the level of service and interaction here doesn't reflect the service on the island, which, at places like Atlantic Fish & Chop House, was outstanding and warm. Like they wanted us back. Same for Rockfish. Even places like Biscuits, which is always packed, remain warm and friendly. The service here was subpar. Even the hostess's interaction left us feeling like, hmmm. The food was solid, but I wouldn't call this place an upper-tier restaurant. There were certainly some racial undertones at play, but again, everyone has bad days at work. As we say, life by lifeing sometimes. But as we spread the word to our friends about our experience here, we have heard this isn't an isolated experience. And for that, we say, hmm, ok. We won't be back. There are just too many other higher-tier restaurants to eat at to experience this and feel like we should give it another go. I thought you all should know.

Our server made several mistakes throughout the evening and had an unexpectedly aggressive attitude. He forgot my sister's wine twice, brought out an incorrect order, and mishandled my mom's dessert request. There was also confusion around the dessert order. My mom wanted one scoop of gelato and asked about the available flavors. The server was very unclear, using "sorbet" and "gelato" interchangeably throughout the conversation. In the end, she ordered one scoop of "lemon gelato," as he described it, which should have been $3. So we were surprised when the bill came and showed a $14 charge for lemon sorbet--which wasn't even listed on the menu. When we pointed this out, the server responded in a pretty surly manner, though the charge was eventually corrected. After we paid, he brought over a scoop of vanilla gelato and said it was "on him," but the delivery felt sarcastic and he placed it on the table quite aggressively. By that point, we were already full and honestly just ready to leave. Overall, the food and atmosphere were great, but the poor service really put a damper on the evening and left us ending the night on a negative note. Since we were a party of six, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill, which was unfortunate given the level of service we received.
