Our party of four got the egg banh mi, seared tofu & shiitake 'shroom banh mi, hawk style fried chicken sandwich, and crispy k-pop fried chicken sandwich - TASTE: 4/5 - will admit that I'm not used to fried eggs in banh mi, but loved all of the toppings: pickled vegetables, cucumbers, jalapeños, Peruvian umami sauce, and cilantro. The classic, or hawk style, chicken sandwich was alright; crispy k-pop's was definitely more flavorful w its gochujang mayo sauce TEXTURE: 4/5 - crunchy toppings in the banh mi w a thick baguette. Was looking for a breakfast spot after attempting to go to Biscuits and heard they had a 3 hour wait (wtf?). Was VERY glad to have found this more than viable option on google in record time. I ordered the Krispy K-pop fried chicken sandwich and was blown away. #1 it's huge, but I was so hungry I left no crumbs. #2 it was absolutely fantastic - so many flavors , sweet savory, spicy and vinegary combined with a juicy crispy chicken breast on a brioche bun was *chef's kiss*. Wanted to try a fried chicken sandwich and heard TigerHawk's was among the best. Went for the Crispy K-Pop, with kimchi, gochujang Mayo, pickles veggies on a bun. It was HUGE!!! And SO good. It came out pretty fast too, which was nice. There are only a few seats inside, so I got it to go. Love their logo and bright colors. You can't miss it on Circuit Ave! Was starving on Circuit Ave in OB. I reviewed Tigerhawk in 2022 and at the time the food I got pretty bad. I took a deep breath and tried again. We ordered a Fried Chix Bahn which arrived fresh, warm, and overstuffed. The bread was not a crispy Vietnamese baguette, which was forgiven, and the only protein was chicken. The pickles were good but they were sparse and not distributed well. From Wikipedia: A typical Vietnamese roll or sandwich is a fusion of proteins and vegetables from native Vietnamese cuisine such as chả lụa, coriander, cucumber, pickled carrots, and pickled daikon combined with condiments from French cuisine such as pâté, along with red chili and mayonnaise. We got the Tofu Banh Mi, Hawk Fried Chicken Sandwich, and B.E.A.C.H Please Breakfast Sandwich (with Pork Belly). The Tofu Banh Mi was light and quite good. It was very saucy, and the tofu was warm and soft. The cucumber provided a really welcome crunch. I would definitely get it again. The chicken sandwich was very crunchy and moist. We would have preferred more red onion and ranch, but still a solid 7.5/10. The breakfast sandwich was ok, but not the best. It was very buttry, but the hashbrowns were kinda lost in the sandwich and there were only 2 small pieces or pork belly; the sauce was also pretty overwhelming in terms of flavor. 5.5/10. Overall we would again, though probably replace the pork belly with bacon and remove the sauce from the breakfast sandwich. No pictures because we ate things too quickly! read more

Look man, I gotta level: as soon as I saw the Porchetta My Heart with the DeNic's style roast pork, broccoli rabe and provolone combo, I needed it inside of me. Unfortch, I was with a family whose idea of a proper sandwich was a bacon cheeseburger and tbh, eff that. So, on the one opportunity I had to order lunch solo, I went hard on TigerHawk and could NOT be happier. Thin sliced pork, a heavy hand of tendercrisp rabe, and gobs of gooey provolone plus a signature herbed aioli on a slight underbaked baguette(?) sent my taste buds in to the ether. No online ordering on this day (why?) but I placed mine in person and hung around for 12 minutes listening to old school hip hop before devouring my 'wich onsite. It was the best damn thing I ate in two weeks on the island. Why did it take this long? I blame my kids. In the future, if I'm able to tap in to my non-traditional cuisine preferences and get something unique, a bit hipster, and all-out delicious, I'm coming back to TigerHawk. read more

The insides were tasty but the bread really took away from the whole experience. They were served on ultra bland supermarket white bread rolls. I cannot believe I am just now trying this spot!!! We have been coming to MV for awhile now. Today we wanted Linda Jeans but had no desire to wait for breakfast (I was starving). My husband was out picking up the food and when Linda Jeans was too packed, he called me and asked what was the next option. I did a Yelp search and we decided to try this place. I am so glad we did!!!! My sandwich was amazing. The flavors were spectacular. My husband got the avocado toast and he loved it. We he told me the location of the spot, I knew exactly what he was talking about. I have walked by this spot for YEARS. I can't believe I have been sleeping on this gem. We will definitely be back. I had an awesome Korean sandwich with braised short rib and a gochujang mayo. It was really well done, plenty of beef and the gochujang mayo was great. The baguette was fresh and great bread as well. I would totally get this again! But my wife's sandwich, the banh mi, was supposed to be with pork. Instead it was with pork belly and it was just about the fattiest piece of pork belly I've seen. I love that type of bread. Wifey had the Hawk Style chicken sandwich (buttermilk fried chicken, lettuce, ranch - she deleted the pickles and red onion it usually comes with). She LOVED it.
