    Eggs Cod Benedict

I recommend getting there early as the wait was 15 min but can get much longer since it's in a prime location. The Cod Eggs Benedict was good! Simple meal with good flavors. The potatoes didn't add much to the dish honestly. I also ordered a hazelnut iced coffee which was less than average in my opinion, but I don't like sweet drinks personally.

Woke up hungry and early, gotta catch that ferry. Rolled out of bed and we went to Biscuits. We got coffee (not pictured), Cod Cake Benedict and the Biscuits Breakfast. The coffee was good but pricey. Be sure to take advantage of the free refill haha. The Cod Cake Benedict was bland. The cod cake felt unseasoned and lacking. The biscuit did not feel buttery at all. The Biscuits Breakfast was better. The gravy was heavy with some specks of flavor. Biscuit was flaky but mid. The linguica saved this dish. The homes fries was the only thing that packed some flavors. Everything else was okay... Friendly and helpful staff! Small and cozy, with carpet that may or may not be sticky on certain spots.

Cutest little restaurant! Great service and food was amazing. Any wait is well worth it!

Really great small breakfast spot right in Oak Bluffs. Get there early or there will be a line. We waited ~35 mins on a summer Sunday morning around 9:30am. It was worth it though! The biscuits and gravy are soooo flavorful. The biscuits are to die for.

Very good. I went twice during my stay on MV. I am vegetarian/pescetarian and gluten free so there weren't too many things I could eat but I managed to find some good choices.

This place gets packed quick, so arrive before you're hungry. We showed up at 8am and still had to wait 20 minutes - we'll worth it though! The cinnamon rolls was amazing. Very soft and a lot of flavor. I also got the belly buster (on a biscuit instead of a bagel) and it was bigger than expected. The lattes were very sweet, so I would ask for a pump or two less if that isn't your thing. The honey chicken biscuit was a bit deceptive since it was a single chicken tender (I thought it would be a filet). Casual diner vibe with fast moving, friendly staff.

If you have the time definitely go it will be worth the wait in line and servers are courteous and attentive. Every bite as delicious as it looks.

**EAT HERE** Small place thats big on tasty food! The best potatoes and biscuits and gravy! The place gets packed so at times the service can be curt but they are very nice and accommodating. They dont miss it if your coffee needs a refill or any of your requests. The servings are large and comes out hot! I would eat here again and recommend it to anyone!

Pleasantly surprised by the affordability and tastiness of this place! Was swarmed last weekend, but 8am on a Monday morning is a perfect time to check out this breakfast spot. My egg and cheese and hash browns was only $10 total! Service was prompt and kind, and I felt genuinely cared for. Awesome for locals & tourists alike. Great spot.

Very convenient breakfast spot if you are in Oak Bluffs. They have a nice menu ranging from simple breakfast egg sandwich biscuits to larger platters with multiple items. The ambiance is friendly and cheery. The interior is simple and clean. The staff is efficient and I was attended to quickly. The service is good. Multiple servers pitch in to bring out plates, refill coffee, etc. I ordered a simple egg sandwich and it came quickly. I did ask for sausage and was given bacon, but I like bacon too. Overall, I would recommend this restaurant for a quick and easy breakfast. I visited off-season, so not sure how busy it is during the high season.

    Shrimp and grits

Solid breakfast spot! The shrimp and grits were tasty, the blackened shrimp and the sauce definitely had the most flavor. If you just put the grits on a fork alone it would be bland but the two together was great. The biscuit benedict was also tasty, the potatoes were the highlight of the dish as well. Seasoned and crispy. Now the cinnamon roll WOW, melted in your mouth, we devoured that before we could take a picture. Took away one star only because it gives a loud diner feel which is not necessarily my go to vibe. Yet, the service was impeccable and everyone took care of all the tables and were so willing to help.

The crispiest, most flavorful fried chicken I've had in a very long time! Glad I got there early to avoid the wait.

Yesterday,…read moremy friend suggested we eat here, so we went in and were seated pretty quickly despite it being pretty full. Our server was very friendly, and the menu had some good lunch options. My friend and I were dead-set on eating a lobster roll, and thankfully, they had a lobster roll on their menu. We each ordered one, and had chicken fingers as an appetizer. The tenders were the perfect size, and cooked well. The lobster roll were also pretty good in my book. There were huge cuts of lobster meat in the roll, and I ordered mine toasted with butter. I've had tastier lobster roll before, and I think it might be because I've ordered it cold before with mayo and I didn't like it as much toasted. I did like that the roll also came with a side of fries and coleslaw, and the price point for all that food was pretty reasonable as lobster rolls can get pretty pricey. They also have a bottomless drink menu for $3 to get an assortment of beverages which I thought was pretty sweet. I would definitely continue to eat here next time when I come back to MV!

Our waitress was attentive and friendly, always making sure our waters were full and we could have refills if we wanted. My friends ordered the tacos and I felt "when in Rome" and had the fried seafood plate which had fish, scallops, shrimp, and fries for $35. While I liked the restaurant overall this was not worth $35. My meal had three scallops and 2 of them were smaller and a little mushy. Then were were 4 shrimp that weren't bad. The fish was on the smaller end and tougher than I thought it would be. I understand it's Martha's vineyard and things are more expensive there but this was steep for the quality. My friends liked their tacos as well- they just mentioned that having a third taco instead of just the two would have been nice. I would recommend Sandbar though for anyone who wants a fun environment. I'd even go back- but I'd make sure to try something else.

Orders were taken by a friendly guy who had a take for the menu and what was good and was very user friendly. We ordered the drinks and then the food. A look at the menu, I found the prices were on the high side for my taste but we are in a tourist trap and cost are what they are. The atmosphere was beach like and I loved the mix of old beach stuff with a beer bar mash up, The drinks came and for the most part all were good except for me. I ordered a traditional Mojito. Having had plenty of good ones and lot of bad one's this one was on the bad side. Tasted store bought mix and repeat with too much mint. The strong mint flavor is a dead give a way that it was premade mix. Avoid it. You want to pay $17 for a glass of sugar water that has NO ALCOHOL in it. You have been warned. The food, well all were satisfied with it except for me. My niece and her husband enjoyed the lobster roll. It was market price I don't know what that cost but I knew it was out of my price range. My wife had the fish sandwich and she LOVE it. She said that is what a fish sandwich is supposed to be like. My son had the american burger and fries combo. He said it was average at best. That good for him. I had the clam chowder. What a let down. It looked homemade but the broth was watery. Flavor was average better than a can but slightly better. I had the clam chowder at another restaurant in Mystic that was 10/10 this was 4/10. In summary, Three stars could have been better in my book but the others felt it was above average drinks and food. Recommended Yes and you decide for yourself and shoot me a line on what you think.
