    Potato Pizza

I walked in and felt good. Fun decor, with patches from all the states. Good ambiance and friendly service. Home brewed beer, rotating seasonal ones as well. Ordered the clam chowder and it came piping hot. Absolutely delicious, one of the better ones on the island. The tavern burger was good. A bit overcooked but flavors pulled through. Potato pizza? Never had. I decided to try it and phew, was it heavy. It was tasty tho! The two of us couldn't finish it. The beers were amazing. I had two beers, blueberry and cider. WOW. If you like beer, come here. Brewed extremely well, deep in flavor and surprisingly high alcohol content for something so sweet.

We were looking forward to their wood fire pizza. It was just Ok. We were seated and then went to order the pizza and the waiter said there was something wrong with the oven. We were about to leave and he came back and said it was working. I think the hostess should have told us before we were seated

Adorable!!! inside this restaurant makes me feel like I just got off a three month fishing excursion and I'm finally getting a brewski with my Bros. I felt like a true New Englander inside of this establishment. Our bartender was so kind and the espresso martini was fab! I imagine in the summer it's probably hard to get a table here because it's not very big and it's right in the heart of the shopping area of OB!

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the beach! The chips and guac was the perfect starter on a warm summer day sitting outside. The lobster roll was also amazing! Lots of beer and drink options, I wasn't a fan of the shandy cocktail I ordered but the delicious food and great service made up for it!

Amazing food and beer. I didn't see much of the inside because the weather outside was amazing, and their patio was very enjoyable. We were looking for something refreshing after a hot beach day, and they provided everything we needed. The guacamole was some of the most flavorful I've had. The lobster roll was massive and delicious (though I would probably omit the red onion next time). Their saison also had a ton of flavor and I would've loved to have a few while sitting on the beach!

This was an unexpected gem! We hadn't planned to stop here but with a quick search Offshore Ale looked like a good choice for lunch and wow am I glad we stopped! We ordered a flight of beers and cider and all were great, out of what we tried hubby did select one to get a glass. The pizza was delicious really phenomenal toppings and crust. The BEST part though was the clam chowder. I tried clam chowder at 5 different places during our trip and Offshore Ale had the best clam chowder out of all the ones I tried. Friendly staff and service was nice. It was crowded and hard to walk in, they really pack the people in but we sat at a window and it was cozy for two. Definitely recommend.

We had a perfect lunch here in late September on a picture perfect day! Being outside surrounded by gorgeous flowers made it seem like we weren't looking at a parking lot with cars constantly passing inches from us. My 80yr old mom and I spent the day exploring and were in search of an amazing lobster roll, we found it here! Outdoor seating was ideal and our server was attentive. I had a creative cocktail and we shared lunch and dessert. The lobster roll was pretty epic actually and the fries a perfect compliment. Chocolate cake finished off our amazing lunch and we wandered off to find the gingerbread houses not far away. Only a water view would have made this better, but the lobster roll was so good I'm glad we didn't pick a spot with a view.

I didn't eat anything too amazing today, but the burger was pretty good, and others in our group enjoyed their meals. It's a nice restaurant to hang out in. They brew their own beers here, so the selection is limited--make sure to check out your options beforehand. Service was fine and quick.

Hot buttered lobster rolls are a hit. Generously portioned and served on a soft brioche roll. This is a must visit spot in Oak Bluff.

    Gluten free lobster roll

We really enjoyed our visit to Offshore ale! We remembered visiting this restaurant a couple years ago because I was able to order a gluten free lobster roll, and we were on the search for good gluten free options again. We weren't disappointed. We sat outside before it got too busy, and it was great weather. Our server was great, she was really kind and prompt. For an appetizer we ordered a shrimp salad, which was a nice size, although I wish there were a couple more shrimp. For our meals, we ordered the ribs and gluten free lobster roll. The ribs were fantastic! We are picky rib eaters because we think our at home ribs are so good, but these were great. The ribs were meaty and fall off the bone tender. The sauce was good and so was the coleslaw. The gluten free bread was nice and soft and held up pretty well. I do think you get less meat with the gluten free roll since it's smaller than a regular roll, but the roll was still good. The fries were also great. Overall, the visit was great and we plan to visit again.

This place was awesome! We sat outside and shared a few items and got a flight of beer. Our server was attentive and excellent. Local Martha's Vineyard Oysters - 10/10 Brie with pesto and roasted Garlic: 10/10 Potato Pizza - 10/10. I wasn't sure about this but had never seen this in a menu before so I had to try it. So good! One slice is all you need.

True type of pub/tavern feel on the island. Super nice patio to sit on and grab drinks and food. Large variety of drinks to choose from. Overall good experience and good for catching up with friends or a family dinner.

Bbq chicken pizza. Amazing. Highly recommend.

A few years ago, someone offered to buy my parking space for $500. (I declined.) There's often live music. (Check local publications or their website for up-to-date schedules.) There are often a number of food trucks present. On our recent visit, we had oysters from Hang Ten (enormous, meaty and sweet, but shucked with a ton of shell shards); tacos, guac and nachos from Millie's; and pizza from Eat Fire Pizza. And of course we had a number of decent beers on tap from Cisco Brewers. They seem to tend towards lightness, minimal hoppiness: good summer brews for warm weather. It's family friendly -- including canine members. Our pup is a seasoned New Yorker and accustomed to crowds, but even she seemed a little frazzled by the press of people at times.

We got there fairly early but the first band had already started, and the area under the tent was already full. We got some drinks, checked out the space and eventually we were able to snag some chairs under the tent. The outside beer area had alcohol drinks as well. 2 of us had tequila drinks, and 2 tried the beers. We were all really happy with our choices. All of the food there came from food trucks, and there were a lot of random vendors, which made it a fun, unique experience! All of our food and drinks were great. I also bought a few hats- the hat selection was really good from the band and the brewery. They also had a shop along with the other vendors who were set up. We stayed longer than expected- the first band (Grateful Dead cover band) was amazing, so we stayed to check out the second band (who were really good also). We eventually gave up our seats under the tent to some very happy people! We will definitely go back to the Cisco brewery the next time we're in Nantucket- it was a great experience all around! Everyone we encountered- whether they worked there, or weee there for fun were very nice and friendly. There was a dance area in front of the stage and people definitely used it - so there was great people watching in a super fun setting!

I mentioned that I had no idea what a clam belly was in line, and everyone around me started trying to explain it. A few moments later, the manager (or owner) walked out with a giant clam belly for me to see and even offered me a sample lol. My goodness...it was everything I could ask for in seafood. The rich, briny umami flavor hit instantly and reminded me exactly why my cholesterol is so high lol. We ordered a quart of fried clam bellies, had some of the best scallops I've ever eaten, along with a lobster roll that was absolutely loaded with lobster meat, so much that it was falling out the sides. The clam chowder was okay, but everything else tasted super fresh. The staff mentioned that much of the seafood had been caught earlier that morning. One thing to keep in mind is that outdoor seating can be limited, so if you're visiting with a larger group and want to sit together, you may have to wait a bit. Other than that, this place is an absolute must visit for seafood lovers.

Located just off State Beach, Noman's captures everything that's great about summer on Martha's Vineyard. The outdoor setting is fantastic--live music, picnic tables, open space for kids to run around, and a relaxed atmosphere that somehow feels both lively and laid back at the same time. The staff deserves special recognition. The bartenders were outstanding: friendly, engaging, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. That positive energy carries throughout the entire venue and makes guests feel welcome from the moment they arrive. The food was very good overall and definitely better than what you'd expect from a casual outdoor dining spot. Drinks were excellent, the entertainment added just the right touch, and the whole experience felt effortlessly fun. My only suggestion for improvement would be the barbacoa tacos. The version we had was more like shredded beef and a bit dry. True barbacoa is rich, tender, and full of flavor, so I know this dish could be even better with a few tweaks. Also offer a fish taco. The shrimp tacos are good, but everyone knows there's no New England shrimp. Or at least have a fish and chips option. There's plenty of cod and haddock. Heck a fish sandwich would suffice. That said, one menu item certainly won't keep us away. Noman's has created something special--a place where families gather, friends reconnect, visitors feel like locals, and summer memories are made. We are locals and frequent this place, so we'll definitely be back.
