I was visiting Martha's Vineyard for the first time and went to The Art Cliff Diner with my family. We were greeted right away and they tried to accommodate our large party of 8. Although there was a table big enough for us, it was partially seated so we were split across two tables. Although we didn't get to interact with our other table, it was still a great experience. Our particular server seemed pretty distracted and overwhelmed but was pleasant. This led to not getting refills on coffee or water. Other servers also jumped into help which was great. The food was outstanding. Everything was fresh, hot, and delicious. For food we had the Cuban Benedict (hands down the best I've ever had), granola and yogurt, the hash and eggs, and the breakfast tacos. As I said, everything was delicious. The food came out pretty quickly after ordering which was awesome. There is one single bathroom in the restaurant. There is limited parking but it's free. There is a step to get inside so not the most handicap accessible. It has the best vibe inside of a cute little diner. There is seating and bar seating. I would definitely recommend the Art Cliff Diner!

Well, it's not really a diner, yet I will still give it 5 stars. I had my first ever Cheddar & Bacon Crepe. It was loaded with bacon. I won't be hungry for 24 hours! My husband is a pancake connoisseur. He gives 2 thumbs up for the blueberry pancakes. Fast friendly service, nice decor.

Just what you need on a Saturday morning! A later breakfast, great atmosphere and attentive service. We had two breakfast sandwiches: Hey Now! and Morning Starter. The eggs on Hey Now! were perfectly fried with fresh avocado, cilantro and the most interesting tomato baked in the oven! My husband ate every last bite of this morning starter so I guess it was good! We also ordered the homemade granola. Just the right touch of sweetness. Highly recommend!

Breakfast here is a staple institution in MV and be sure to get here by 10am or be prepared to wait about 30+ minutes. The menu is jam packed with every item imaginable for breakfast options you would want. I was feeling cozy and tried the pancakes which was really good. The service is excellent and you would really like it if you're with a larger group of friends or family.

The vibes here are immaculate, and the decor is really interesting. We went on a busy Saturday morning and waited about 25 minutes, which was approximately what the hostess told us it would be. Be open to sitting at the counter or a table to get seated faster. Oh, and they DO have gluten free bread, it's just not on the menu!

Exceptional food, fantastic service, fun and cozy vibe with both tables and counter. Servers were so friendly. Menu has classics and unique modern twists too. Do not miss the hash!

Worked up an appetite bicycling to MV staple and was thoroughly satisfied with the french toast and a treat to enjoy on Fourth of July weekend trip. Orig Post 7/5/13 #dodrinkdine

The folks in the kitchen looked like they were hustling, but we saw several customers complaining about how long it was taking their food to come in. Something is not good with the work flow, and while the guy running around was super nice and professional, the girl who took our order was downright rude. Even though we ordered for dining in, our food still came out in a to-go bag. Why? So annoying. The kale chicken caesar was deconstructed, so you have to mix it all up yourself with limited space and utensils. The whole point of eating at the restaurant is so they can do it for you! We do love the harissa cauliflower sandwich that we always order, but every time that we've had it, it's always undersalted. Our daughter's tomato soup was good (if you like a verrrry heavy cream base) but parts of it had slopped over the side from being in the bag and the paper started disintegrating. Unprofessional. We tried a couple of their baked goods for the first time and they were OK. The chocolate chip cookie struck a nice balance between crispy and chewy, but we weren't fans of the pumpkin blondie. We're on the fence of whether we'd come back in person again since this was a pretty disastrous experience in the off-season. We can't even imagine during summertime! Three stars. Do better.

Since my friends and I expected more offerings, we only had drinks, oysters, and salads. It wasn't too busy when we visited so the service was fine. Our waitress forgot to tell us the special. We overheard another waiter explaining the specials and my husband was quite upset because he would have ordered it. The actual food was not bad just not exceptional (it's kind of expensive but that's expected for the area and the location on the water). Once we got there I realized there is a lot on the menu you can't eat if you can't eat raw/undercooked fish. We got a few second courses to share - the goat cheese and carrots, lobster burrata, and beet gnocchi. Overall they were all good - felt clean and fresh. We got the halibut to share as well and the mushroom and garlic something side (recommended by our waitress). The sides were really good! Halibut was okay. Our water was not refilled until we asked. The first course dishes were not cleared until the next course came. Felt a little forgotten. But anyway can't regret the dinner cause the view was phenomenal.
