    Morning glory muffins

Walked over here after Cisco Brewers. It was maybe a 10 minute walk. (There is no sidewalk for most the walk. When you get to the curve in front of the farm, there is a dirt path that takes you straight to the parking lot.) This is a convenience store that has a deli attached. I wanted to try something local to the island or at least not typical. They have a pretty nice menu of standard fare, but I got their Bartlett's Chicken Salad sandwich. It comes on Ciabatta with honey mustard, cheddar, pepperoncini, and farm made chicken salad for $11.99. I also tried a morning glory muffin, which is apparently something local to Nantucket that I had never heard of. It has coconut, carrot, and raisins. It was surprisingly good and only maybe $3.50. Very fair prices in the deli compared to the rest of the island. I can't speak for the convenience store, but some of the frozen pizza looked high to me, but that's probably island pricing. Nothing too crazy, but I'd definitely come back for sandwich if nearby.

    Tomatoes

Bought 3 lovely looking firm tomatoes from a nice young man set up on Main Street. The following day I noticed they were rotten. Such a shame and a waste of 10.50

We love Bartlett's Farm to get fresh and delicious sandwiches. They have a great selection of bakery items as well.

Great produce and hard to find foods, brands. Sandwich deli makes nice breakfast bagels, iced coffee... would love to shop more often here, but like most places on ACK it is so so expensive now.

Bartletts Farm is a neat little deli/grocery store that also offers seasonal Farm to Table dinners in their greenhouse. The first time I went to Nantucket 6 of us went to the dinner and it was really fresh, filling, and delish. We went to the grocery store section (this was in September) and because it was warm, and maybe because of some issues, there were fruit flies E V E R Y W H E R E. It was a bit overwhelming and chased me away from the produce. The deli made a couple of our sandwiches and they were really good! Nantucket priced at ~$12 but they were full and almost too big to eat! They're very environmentally friendly, have neat little deals on shirts and decorations, and always become a staple in our Nantucket visits. This time around, no fruit flies lol. Maybe too cold or maybe they got their hands around their tiny little throats and showed them who was boss!

The reason for 5 stars is this place has everything fresh farm grown foods, their coffee bar is really good and the haul over breakfast sandwich is the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had and they can do it all gluten free as well. Their pastries and pies are amazing. They also do affordable lunches and dinners Tuesday prime rib is really good. And it's also I gift shop. My 15 year old dog needed to be put down in September because he could no longer walk and seemed to be in pain. My vet told me to try CBD oil yup they make and sell their own and 4 months later my dog is still with me walking and not in as much pain. Some of their prices are a bit high on normal groceries but then again I don't go there for that. 5 stars because the staff is friendly courteous and they have so much to offer with a view.

    Amazing fresh vegetables

This is an amazing farm and grocery store! This is a "must do" when on Nantucket. The fresh farm grown vegetables are incredible and the prepared food is delicious!!! They also have a garden center and full supermarket with anything that you would need while on island. Family owned and operated as well!!

I can't say I have tried any other waffles on the island, but this one was quite delicious and it would be difficult to top it. Even though it was busy late on Saturday morning, my party of two was seated right away. Sure, you're sitting close to the people next to you, but I do not mind. The place is well-decorated and has a pleasantly clean vibe about it. I am looking forward to trying dinner here as well in the near future!

A great breakfast. Old school. Diner-style grill restaurant. Everything was made to order and they offered very good and complicated breakfasts: avocados, lobster, and poached this that and the other. We heard about the doughnuts. Never had one. In September of '24 the Inky reported that the Downyflake was to permanently close. So we made a day trip just to try the doughnuts. In fact, we did this in October the weekend before they closed. Off of Straight Wharf, a taxi ride out, bought a few doughnuts, uber'ed back to town, got some coffee from The Hub, and walked and sat on our bench on Easy Street over looking the Wharf Rat Club. Heaven. Everyone should experience Nantucket. I will say, we were lucky and happy to experience the doughnuts. The doughnuts, yes, are still sticking to my ribs a year later. More oil than the Exxon Valdez. We will miss you old friend. Even though the rumor is a new one will open... someday.

My sister who has lived on ACK for 30+ years loves their doughnuts - and yes they are VERY good. My favs are the chocolate frosted and the apple cider (in season). These really are small doughnuts - so you can eat 2 without too much guilt. I was craving some linguica sausage - I grew up eating it on pizzas and breakfast sandwiches in the summer in New Beford, MA. I saw that the menu had breakfast sandwiches (with your choice of meat) - Unfortunately they waitress informed me that linguica was not an option on this sandwich - which it really should be!. I opted for a side of the linguini and a english muffin to craft my own sandwich (AND - Bonus to save room for a doughnut or 2) It was tasty - but not the linguica of my childhood that oozed red grease, this one was pretty lean and more dense than I remember. I still ate every bite. The highlight was the doughnut dessert, these have not changed in 20 years.

Every dish with colorful and full of flavor. We also had Merza Ghassemi which is an incredible eggplant spread served with the most incredible Barbari bread. For our entree, we shared the Chelow kebabs. A beautiful silver platter is filled with grilled and spiced meats -chicken, beef, and lamb- and perfectly grilled vegetables. The rice was also flavored with fresh herbs. There is a spice jar on the table of sumac, a Persian staple, which was suggested to enhance the flavors of the food. Everything was delicious and served with care. The staff is eager to help us experience and explore the flavors and food combinations. For dessert, we shared the best baklava that I have ever tasted. It was so flaky and filled with honey and nuts. Lemon Press is a wonderful dinner experience and should not be missed. All their meals are fabulous but there is something unique about sitting in candlelight, enjoying a Mediterranean dining experience with your friends and family that is truly special.
