Good food and perfect location for a quick bite before hopping on the ferry just a few steps away. While the wait was a tad longer than I expected for the easy sandwiches we ordered, it was a filling lunch with delicious pastries and fresh iced tea and lemonade. Look forward to coming again.

Truly one of the best coffee shops on Cape Cod (in Woods Hole). Coffee quality is excellent. Roasted on site--literally right in the seating area. Service is excellent (wonderful people--shout out to Ruth, the nicest person going!). . Seating area is both inside and outside. Ferry terminal is footsteps away. Can't beat it.

04.10.2025 Cute place right near the ferry. I love the popovers here! Light and airy. The cookies are really good (not soft); tasty and huge! I highly recommend ordering in advance especially in the summer! Parking is atrocious but this place is worth it. They have seating in and outside.

Recommended by the bike shop owner to stop and grab food while doing the trail. Excited to come in however staff was not friendly and I just felt so out of place and rushed to make a decision. After reading the menu I had my heart set on a lobster roll and clam chowder with a iced green tea however that was immediately shot down when I was very shortly advised they didn't have green tea or the lobster roll. I didn't understand the not having green tea given the menu stated they had it. Rushed I just ordered the salad with chicken salad on it and a plain unsweetened black tea. After we ate and I got up to dispose of trash, I saw they had bottled Harney & Sons green tea. So I grabbed 1 given I love Harney tea! Staff could've told me this when placing my order however stating again that she was not friendly at all. There was seating inside or outside. We sat inside. Food was ok. Fresh veggies on the salad. Chicken salad had good flavor. The chowder was mainly potatoes and very large.

Yup! 5 stars! Why?! Because the baked goods sizes are HUGE! This place gives you the cozy home feel you will love. I came here twice during our stay. This place gets very very busy so come early and don't come toooo hungry because if get later in the am the line gets long. But! The service is quick. When ordering sandwiches that will take a bit. Everything I've had was delicious! My favorite was the dulce de leche stuffed croissant. I've tried the avocado toast and the only complaint I had was the size of the tomato. It was uneven and very thick. It made it a little bit difficult to eat. I will be a regular customer when I'm in the area again.

Great stop on my bike ride from Falmouth. They have a bike rack in the front. There is a single restroom. You order at the counter inside and they call your name when it's ready. They make all their own baked goods and bread. I had a chicken salad sandwich on sourdough. It was delicious. They toasted the bread per my request. They made me a chai latte with chai tea bag and added milk. Their regular chai is from a concentrate. There is a lot of outdoor seating. There is no indoor seating. Service was fast

Everything was great! But since when is breakfast so expensive o_o This spot was BOOMING when we arrived but it's understandably when you consider how close it is to the ferry. So you get a mix of locals, tourists, and people killing time. Some people had to leave without even getting their order (!) Honestly I have no complaints besides pricing (see pic). We weren't in a rush so the wait didn't bother me. At least everything came out faster than the other coffee shop down the street. If you're catching the ferry or just visiting the area I'd recommend this to grab a coffee and sandwich on the run. Everyone was nice, plenty of seating outside (inside has a few tables but it's cramped in there during breakfast hours), and good options make this a must stop breakfast spot.

Had a pouring rainy day during our trip the cape. This place made the day better. Fantastic latte and mocha. Great breakfast sandwich and hash browns. Stayed to dry off a little longer while the coffee beans were being roasted right there next to us. Pecan roll and cookies were also fantastic!

Bottom: Excellent baked goods and satisfying sandwiches overlooking the ferry terminal. Looking for lunch my husband and I visited Pie in the Sky. We both had some hearty sandwiches (Pesto Grilled Cheese & BLT) with Cape Cod sea salt chips which hit the spot but the real winner was the special Cinnamon Roll Focaccia. It was truly one of the best desserts I've ever had and I eat lots of desserts! My husband and I enjoyed our sandwiches while sitting inside the cafe overlooking the bustling ferry terminal. On our next visit we once again ordered sandwiches but this time enjoyed them on the front patio. Unfortunately the special Focaccia wasn't offered so we munched on tasty, classic chocolate chip cookies instead. There isn't much seating inside but when the weather is nice the front patio offers decent seating and good people watching. For those who don't want to eat in, you can also get it to go by placing an order online or in the cafe. On both of our visits we just had water but I would have liked to tried some coffee. On our second visit they were roasting their own beans. Bags of coffee can also be ordered online. Pie in the Sky does not have its own parking lot but on both occasions we found street parking.

Bacon, Egg, & Cheddar on a Popover

Pie in the Sky is charming, cozy, and filled with mouthwatering treats. I had the bacon, egg, and cheddar on a popover, which had everything I look for in a breakfast sandwich: fried egg (not microwaved) crispy bacon melted cheese I have also never had a breakfast sandwich on a popover before, it was a fun and unique take! The only reason it's not getting a full 5 stars is that while the popover was great, it was VERY buttery and decadent, paired with the bacon it was a little too rich for me - but still delicious!

As a coffee snob I approve. There are several drip coffees to choose from and of course, all of the specialty coffees. The pastry selection is outstanding. Be prepared to stand in line.

My favorite spot to grab food and a drink while waiting for the boat! All of the pastries are fantastic with my favorite being the raspberry shortbread bar and their lattes are some of the best! Service is always super friendly and quick and it's the coziest place to sit down and get some work done while waiting for the boat. Seating can be a bit limited in the winter but during the summer when the weather is nice there's also places to sit outside.

Stopped by during our bike ride on the shining sea bike path, had the most mind blowing chicken Caesar salad wrap I've ever had. Huge wrap, stuffed to the gills with perfectly dressed salad, crispy croutons, and juicy chicken. My daughter had an amazing iced chai latte with just the right amount of spice. She also got a huge chocolate chip cookie warmed up, good value, packed with chips. So glad we are coming back for breakfast tomorrow before we grab the ferry to Martha's Vineyard. Bravo Pie in the Sky!!!

After visiting the Woods Hole Aquarium (the oldest marine aquarium in the country), we took our…read morethree-year old grandson for lunch to Quahog Republic's Leeside Pub (29 Railroad Rd.) in Woods Hole. What a delightful experience, due not only to the quality of the food and the charm of the venue, but to the warmth, humor, and personality of our server Jenn. My review for card-carrying members of team Cliff Notes: "A cozy pub atmosphere with lots of regulars, flavorful food, personable staff, with a view of the ferries, at competitive prices." Everyone else is invited to continue reading. We've taken our older grandson (now 6) to lunch in Woods Hole a few times after visiting the aquarium and really enjoy the "on-the-water" vibe and décor of Captain Kidd. Unfortunately, Captain Kidd is still closed for the season and so is Land Fall. So, the options were limited. Having enjoyed a meal a few years ago at the Onset Quahog Republic, we decided on the Leeside Pub. Parking in the immediate area is a challenge but we lucked out with parking on Main Street--just remember to bring quarters--which of course I did)--less than a block away. We were seated at one of the long tables as soon as we entered. Jenn, who was server, bartender, and food runner (from upstairs down to the restaurant), quickly took our drink orders--a seltzer for my wife, an apple juice for our grandson, and a freshly brewed iced tea for me (the iced tea was wonderful). While I quickly looked at the menu before we left the house for the aquarium, we already knew what our grandson was getting--a lobster roll. It comes with a side and he chose French fries (no surprise there). I wanted a mug of their chowder. My wife ordered a pulled pork grilled quesadilla. Even though there were plenty of people in the restaurant, Jenn had it totally under control and our food arrived quickly. I was impressed that they had individual pepper grinders at every table. I love a little chowder with my freshly ground peppers and don't really understand why most places do not have whole pepper grinders. The chowder was very tasty--slightly thicker than I might make myself (but definitely not goopy), plenty of clams (I believe they were chopped quahogs), only a few potatoes (which is always a good sign), and well flavored broth with a hint of applewood smoked bacon (the signature addition to Quahog Republic chowder). They have 3 sizes of lobster rolls at Leeside Pub--a 4 oz, an 8 oz, and the "monsta." Our grandson got the 4 oz and it was perfect for him and he dug right in, picking up a claw and biting in, waiting for his extra crisp fries to cool. I tasted the lobster and the bun and was impressed with both. The lobster tasted clean and fresh--two whole claws and quite a bit of knuckle meat (our grandson is a fan of claw meat), very, very lightly dressed, on a piece of leaf lettuce inside a butter-grilled, split top brioche roll. The lobster roll also came with a container of melted butter for dipping (or pouring I suppose). Our young gourmand really enjoyed his lobster--no fork necessary--and more of his fries than his mother would probably be happy seeing him eat. But that's part of the fun of visiting Nana and Poppy's house. A full belly nap of nearly two and a half hours for our grandson resulted once we got home--giving us some time to rest as well. My wife's pulled pork quesadilla was substantial and well-stuffed with a cheddar and mozzarella cheese blend and the pulled pork. It came with a side of salsa and a side of sour cream. I took a taste for reporting purposes (hehehe) and would certainly order this dish for myself. My wife certainly enjoyed it while she was helping to feed and otherwise entertain our grandson. I should note that they have, by way of description, an authentic looking Cubano on the menu which might be worth exploring on a subsequent visit--slow roasted pork, black forest ham, pickled red onion, chopped pickles, swiss cheese, and chipotle aioli on mustard buttered french roll. Despite the steady flow of customers, many of whom were picking up take-out to bring aboard a departing ferry, Jenn visited our tables throughout the meal to check in on us (though, having an adorable three-year old as a guest is always something of a server magnet). It was a totally memorable meal and for all the right reasons. Certainly a place we will visit again and I would encourage you to do so as well.

So the upstairs is open beautiful view. But be careful what you order. Especially when it comes to…read morewhat they should do best seafood. Fish and chips. It was find the fish.
