The service is good, certainly good enough. Wine selection also good if high priced. On the negative side, noise was intolerably high...couldn't communicate across the table. But our main concern was dishonesty in pricing. Specifically, several of our party ordered straight whiskeys...price was high (i.e,. $26/drink) but we knew that when we ordered. But when we looked at the bill, they added $4 per drink--one for ice, the other for neat! When we confronted the manager, he said this was industry practice as if any of us (all over 70) had never ordered a drink before. He eventually and grudgingly refunded the extra charges, but failed to acknowledge the dishonesty in pricing or apologize. So, they have lost this group of customers.

I thought it was kind of a weird choice of ingredient. Service was quick- spot is a little small and was a bit crowded so I took mine to go and enjoyed while strolling around the main streets. Would definitely stop in again next time I am in the area. Street parking is relatively easy, although you may need to parallel, and free for two hours.

We also tried the meatloaf, and it genuinely reminded us of our grandmother's from years ago -- comforting, hearty, and full of flavor. That's not something you find everywhere. Even in the middle of winter, the place had a warm, lively vibe. We ended up having a great conversation with someone we later found out was the owner -- just chatting about everyday life.
