Staying in the Cape this weekend and this place was recommended for coffee and breakfast. We got a steak bomb breakfast burrito and chocolate chip cookie. The cookie was good but very generic, tasted like a cookie I could get anywhere, nothing special. For $4 the size was worth it but not the taste. The breakfast burrito was okay as well. It had steak, cheese, egg, onions, peppers, and mushrooms. For $10 it was pretty hefty but it should be maybe $8. What really lowered the rating was that it wasn't really a coffee shop. They only had plain iced and hot coffee, cold brew, and espresso. No flavors and you had to put the creamer and sugar in yourself. The service was quick though. Very small shop inside with what looked like a lot of options. If I lived here I wouldn't have the desire to go back. read more

Great spot for a quick coffee or bite! I got the Pilgrim wrap and an iced caramel macchiato and both were delicious. The staff were very friendly. Convenient location in the Mills with decent parking. There's no indoor seating, but plenty of outdoor tables, which makes it perfect for takeout or a quick grab-and-go stop. read more

This cafe has changed hands several times, and unfortunately the quality has diminished. The past several visits have been disappointing. The owner confirmed he uses sweetened coconut and I suspect the peanut butter is commercial so also, sweetened? Again, super delish but over the top sweet for me. Overall, it looks like a nice spot. I overheard the owner coaching a new prep chef. The owner was super friendly and has a nice vibe. His kids visited and he was clearly invested in their happiness and well being, during their visit. This is an adorable little Cafe in MM! I have gone to this place about 6-7 times over the past several years & I really like it. It's situated right off the Main Street In MM. There is ample parking which is nice. It's a quaint little place with 4 or so bistro tables. They have more bistro seating outside during the warmer months which is wonderful. The interior is cheerful & bright. Yellow walls with cute cafe kitsch memorabilia. There are several blackboards above the counter with the menu & the daily specials. They have freshly baked goods daily & they offer an array or breakfast & lunch items. Everything is made to order! I have had several of their freshly baked goods like muffins, scones & breads & they were yummy! They have salads, wraps, & paninis! I have had their egg sandwiches & they are fabulous. The chicken salad sandwich was on fresh made multi grain bread with crisp romaine. It was delicious! The portions are are a good size! The counter staff are warm, friendly, polite & efficient. The kitchen staff are adept with creating the menu items & very efficient in getting them out to you quickly! They also have a great selection of tea, juices & coffee drinks. They purchase coffee locally from some local roasters & it's high quality stuff. They know how to craft their coffee drinks well too. All in all, this is a fabulous little breakfast, lunch cafe! Super cute little coffee cafe shop in Barnstable. I've heard lots of great things about it, so I was excited to go in and experience it. I grabbed breakfast for my boyfriend and I one morning, a simple breakfast sandwich with bacon, egg, cheese and avocado on a bagel and something called The Big Pun. Both were AMAZING! I was really happy with my choice but I ended up stealing have of my boyfriends breakfast too! Staff was super helpful and very kind and patience as I maneuvered my way around the menu for the first time. The space was cozy, even though I didn't stay to sit down. Okay love the breakfast wraps when we are on the cape. Morning glory is really accommodating with any special requests we have, most often we ask to have a hash brown added INTO the breakfast wraps. Big move if you're ever lucky enough to order from this place. A note in the summer-- definitely order ahead. They're pretty busy and the wait can be a while if you head in to order. Offerings described on blackboards that plaster the walled section above the counter. We arrived around 1:00 on Friday knowing it closed at 3. No line, tables open. Sit down. Munch. We ordered and paid at counter;meals were quickly ready. My veggie wrap of back beans, avocado and more? Fine...and for the below $10.00 price -- great. Salad for 5.95 with a ranch dressing spicier than usual. Take-out business might be brisk at this cafe, since there is only seating for around 10 people total. I had written a review back in February of 2022 about the Morning Glory breakfast burrito my friend and I had gotten. At that time the burrito we got was very disappointing compared to previous visits. So much so we were up in the air about going back. So glad we decided to try one more time. We visited Morning Glory Cafe this morning and the burrito was delicious. Full of bacon and cheddar with filling all the way to the bottom which was not the case at our February visit. At that visit the bottom of the burrito was nothing but folded up tortilla. It was a great start to our day and we were both so happy that our favorite burrito was back!!! read more

My husband and I were very disappointed when Serendipity closed. But our disappointment was short lived when Morning Glory Cafe opened in the same location. I was even more impressed with the new restaurant. The staff is super friendly, the scones are to die for and the sandwiches are the best around. I have so many favorites that I have yet to try the quiche. The specials are always yummy. I am a fan of the Southwestern and the Dump Run. And did I mention the coffee, absolutely wonderful.
