Breakfast Burrito & Home fries to go

Great unassuming breakfast pick up spot. We love the breakfast burrito and omelette, always fresh crispy home fries & a friendly group behind the counter.

The pancakes were fluffy and flavorful- two was definitely enough but the third is only $1 more. They put chocolate chips into the batter but also on top for maximum chocolateyness. They told us it would take about 20 minutes to get a table for 2 which makes sense on a Sunday morning in the summer, and it was a pretty accurate estimate. It took a while to get the food, about 35 minutes from when we ordered. The wait to get on the waitlist was interesting because I think the checkout computer for the bakery is also where waiters and waitresses have to put in orders, verbally with whoever is there. There was a line of us waiting to put our names down/check in while a waitress had to read out three tables' orders to be entered on the tablet. We'd been done eating for about 10 minutes and sat waiting for the check, unsure if we were supposed to checkout at the computer or if they'd bring a check. We flagged down our waitress to ask and she told us we could pay at the counter (glad we asked!) We had what I'd consider the best table in the house: a corner two-top! I didn't feel cramped or overwhelmed but I think I might have at a lot of the other tables here. They make the most of their space but I can see where it could be a little claustrophobic. All in all, it's not a quick stop per se but the food is great and we love supporting small businesses!

I ordered an iced vanilla latte and a chocolate croissant - it was incredibly made, a perfect blend of buttery and flaky. The coffee drink was delicious too. Gratuity was included, but our service was so wonderful, we tipped on top of the tip. The turkey salad sandwich was the table favorite, and we were delighted to learn its on their regular menu! Guess we will be taking out a sandwich or two in the future... IF we can bypass buying one of their AMAZING SEAFOOD PIES in luscious sherry sauce and exploding with scallops, shrimp, fish... but I digresss. We were here for ME day (ok, so I DID take a pie on my way out...). $65 bought you 3 sandwiches, one of which was less than petite and oh so delicious with its home made pesto and brioche bun. The baby cranberry orange American scones were delicious and light (a light scone, right? Crazy), mini blueberry muffins, 3 lovely pastries and a croissant. Also included was champagne (or mimosa) and a cordial shot for your tea. It was all wonderful. Now, I'd take away a star for the young and weird counter staff. Seemed like either high school girls or early college - not really well trained (they didn't know much about anything, and were mostly confused and more interested in talking among each other)... I picked up a bag of croutons and it had a hole in it... their "fix" was to pour it into another bag! (GASP! REALLY? I hate to say this but it was a Legally Blonde moment). Thank goodness an "adult" or more mature professional stepped in and asked if I'd like a new bag... DUH, YES, RIGHT ANSWER. So the croutons and one of those evil seafood pies made it home for mom. I think the girls just need training (and some growing up to do - they weren't unpleasant, just... immature). All in all this place is beautiful, their offerings are wonderful and for the most part, the staff is great. Now that I'm here from my beloved Hudson (ok, I'm still mourning my Hudson town and former home), I expect to make Amie one of my favorite stops. OH, did I mention their coffee is also great? Time to think about one of their classes or other fancy pants-y events. Because it is "kinda" snooty with a down to earth feeling of "they LOVE what they do and do it exceedingly well".

The braciole immediately caught our attention since we had never tried it before, and it was only available on Sundays. The stuffed artichokes also sounded intriguing, so we decided to order both dishes to share between my wife and me. We also picked up a few pastries for dessert. From the moment we walked in, we were greeted warmly, and the staff was friendly and happy to answer all of our questions about the menu. The place is surprisingly spacious on the inside and very well decorated Unfortunately, the main dishes were a bit disappointing. The braciole was dry and somewhat tough, and the stuffed artichoke was also dry. It may have been due to our timing later in the day, as the food may have been sitting on the warming trays for a while. Thankfully, the pastries were excellent and ended up being the highlight of the meal. While this visit did not fully meet our expectations, we are not writing off Nana's and would definitely give them another try in the future.

Our daughter has severe dairy and egg allergies, so finding delicious food that was safe for her--and enjoyable for all of our guests--was a top priority. We also wanted to spend our time celebrating with family and friends rather than reheating food or managing last-minute prep, so we chose the cold and room-temperature menu options. Everything exceeded our expectations. The wraps were absolutely delicious, and we especially appreciated that they thoughtfully prepared five dairy- and egg-free wraps for our daughter. The red potato salad with green beans was outstanding and paired perfectly with the lemon chicken, which was excellent served at room temperature. Many of our guests couldn't stop talking about the sesame noodles! We even sliced up the leftover chicken and mixed it with the noodles for several delicious meals in the days that followed. Beyond the wonderful food, the warm, friendly service we received over the phone made the entire process easy and stress-free. Thank you for helping make our daughter's graduation celebration so special. We will absolutely be back and will happily recommend you to our friends on the Cape!
