    Bangus plate
    Paulette D.

Came for lunch and it was not crowded inside. There were two other small parties and 3 other people came to pick up. Very fast to order but took 20-30 minutes for our meal to be prepared, which we were not happy about. We ordered a bingka as we waited. It was delicious but small...probably a better deal if you are ordering more. I got the bangus plate and honestly felt cheated. Almost half of the fish was the fatty part that people don't eat. It was ok otherwise. I feel like the skewers are what you should order when you come! High recommend. Although they did give us java rice for both orders when we only requested for one. The other person I was with doesn't eat pork so the food unfortunately went to waste Probably won't come back here, but it was ok to try once.

It looks a 3, but if you like pork - and I do - this may not be a bad place. I was charging across the street and wanted something quick and they fit the bill. I think you can get some decent Filipino fast food, but I stuck to what I know - pork. The service was good - there is no pork skewer bowl like the menu in Yelp offers. So I got the pork skewers as a side item and tit was very good! The ambiance is basic fast food. The staff was efficient and to the point. The food should be good so at least 3.5 stars.

Sure, everything I've tried here has been good. BUT, do not skip out on the bibinka (desert). As far as bibinkas are concerned, it's 10/10. There's no room for improvement.

We visited Fiesta BBQ on a Saturday afternoon. It's located in a plaza with plenty of parking. There is no restrooms inside and there's very little seating. We were able to order right away. Please note that everything ordered is made fresh and there's clear signs that orders take about fifteen minutes to make. We ordered the bangus and bbq pork plates. Everything was delicious - fresh and flavorful. Love that each plate comes with sauce and achara, it was a perfect combination. I would definitely recommend.

My first time trying Fiesta BBQ and it was great! Its a small establishment located in a decently sized parking lot. You order at a counter and there a couple of small tables inside so its probably more convenient to do take out. After ordering it took about 10 minutes to get our food. We ordered the pork liempo plate and 2 pork skewers plate. Both were so good!! The pork liempo reminded me of a pork belly and the skewers were very tender and soft. Both had good flavor. I would visit again 100%!

Food : 10/10 I've been coming here since it was called Tony's bbq! And they have got one of the best Filipino foods in town! I always get the grilled liempo and it never misses! So savory and the flavor is right on the spot. DON'T FORGET THE BIBINGKA! My allll time favorite here. My mom usually buys 2 dozens. Service: it does take a while, so I suggest calling ahead for pick up! Ambiance : Looks like your typical Filipino restaurant!

Not a big menu but for all the good reasons. The food is fresh and delicious. My husband's favorite is the salmon teriyaki plate mine is the squid , pork anything, and the squid is amazing. Family owned so you know the service is great! Small seating area but it's clean and welcoming. I hope they never go away

Second time coming to this place and I'm really surprised that it's not as busy. Place always seems decently cleaned and cashiers up front are always nice and helpful. Lots of pictures of their food and they label some as the most popular items. They have one tv near the back end of the restaurant so you can watch whatever they have on. Some nice decorations making sure you know it's a Filipino restaurant. Not too cold or hot inside which is always nice. Now for the food! This is the second time I have gotten their pork bbq and bbq tuna cheek. The bbq pork skewer has nice sized pieces and marinated well. Tender enough but not too tender which makes it perfect! Grilled perfectly not too burnt and overdone. My favorite is the tuna cheek..... yummm! My favorite so far that I've tasted in regard to marinated grilled Filipino style. Nice fatty pieces and cooked again perfectly. Job well done chef. Who ever is in the back knows how to grill. The proteins came with a sweet pickled side dish "acthara" I believe is the name. Nice little bite with every few bites of everything together. Some kind of yellow rice that had decent flavor on it. Didn't notice much flavor on it but it maybe because I was amazed by the BBQ items lol Egg drop soup was so so and needed a tad bit more flavor to it but it wasn't that bad at all. Just something nice and warm to sip on while I took little breaks. I also got the mini Bibingkas they're supposedly known for. Nice mellow flavor to them. Not the best I've had but good. I forgot to take a photo of all the other foods my family and I ordered but I guess that's a good thing and I'll have to head back whenever I'm in this area. Give this place a shot guys! Aim for the BBQ and you won't be disappointed!

Called in an order and picked it up in 15 minutes. We got the liempo plate and the sisig plate with small bibingkas for dessert. Both delicious. Love this place!

Excellent Filipino bbq in Carson! Loved the skewers I got! Tasted just like home in Hawaii the bibingka wasn't what I excepted but it was still really good! $12 for a half dozen, not bad! Great service overall, definitely coming back for more skewers!

Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.

Poke & More is the second kind. I've been here enough times now to finally have an opinion and the woman working the counter may genuinely be one of the nicest people I've encountered in a restaurant in a while. Warm, patient, grateful you're there. The sort of person who somehow makes handing over a plastic bowl of raw fish and rice feel like an act of hospitality instead of a transaction. That matters. The place itself is simple, clean and easy. Parking isn't a battle. Nobody is trying to turn poke into theater. You order your food, they make it and you leave happier than you arrived. The bowl is straightforward: white rice, furikake, poke. And the rice deserves credit. Properly cooked, fluffy, enough structure to hold the fish without turning into paste. Traditional Hawaiian poke doesn't require sushi rice and honestly I prefer this approach. Let the fish do the talking. The fish, unfortunately, is also why this stops at four stars. I usually get two kinds of poke and the seasoning is flavorful but can run a little salty. More importantly, the texture isn't completely consistent. Some pieces have that clean, firm bite you want from raw tuna. Others can be softer, slightly mealy, occasionally a little fishier than I'd like. Nothing has ever crossed into "don't eat this" territory. It's just the difference between good poke and the kind of poke that makes you stop talking for a minute. And this is good poke. The portions are generous, the rice works, the seasoning scratches the itch and the whole thing makes for an easy, satisfying meal. There are probably flashier poke places in Los Angeles. There are certainly more expensive ones. Poke & More feels like neither. It feels like a neighborhood place that does its job. And then that ridiculously kind service bumps the whole experience up another notch. Four stars. The food is good. The hospitality is better. And I'll absolutely be back.

We've tried a lot of different version from different places all over, and have come to the conclusion that we like the version at Gemmae's, the best (as long as for my wife, they skip adding patis to the pancit). However, they also had a buffet style "scoop and go service" on the corner that has the same food on the menu but in combination plates and much more affordable pricing ($12+) that also included rice. We did not understand the discrepancy in pricing since it's the same food and pretty much the same sizing (maybe slightly smaller mains) though they may cook the food fresh/heat it up on the sit down area. My group ordered a variety of food including lechon kawali, garlic rice, vegetables, soup, pancit, etc. and they were very tasty and hit home! well seasoned. The place was not very busy so it was quick. We decided to sit in the restaurant with our ordered food since we were the only ones there. I ordered a main that was running low and the employee told me that they had to cook it and I had to wait which was fine with me. The man ended up not giving me much of the new cooked pieces but mostly of the leftovers and added a couple of pieces of the fresh ones, which was fine but with the wait made it disappointing since I could have just gotten some of the old pieces from the beginning and started eating it. Decent place - I would recommend their "scoop and go" service area for fast service and more reasonable pricing. *I heard they have karaoke in the late afternoon, which may change the vibe and atmosphere of this place so we may need to check that out! 3.2/5
