A most surprising find in the midst of many other good Asian eating establishments! I was introduced to a lumpianada and was fascinated about other menu items this place had... The lumpianada is a great creation, a fusion of a lumpia and empanada; perfect crunch outside, softness & yumilicious inside. Even the sawsawans (sauces) are great, they truly complement the complexity of the ingredients from the inside out. The ambiance may contribute to the appreciation of their food... The place looks a triple business location; restaurant, plastic goods store, and some kind of remittance/shipping shop... When the food arrives, the 1st few impressions of the restaurant's ambiance disappears! The food is fresh, fast, generous, inexpensive, and truly "sarap," delicious! I had the longsilog with Vigan (a most charming town in northern Philippines NOT someone who eats just veggies!=o) longanisa, longanisa rice, pickled cukes, and atsara (pickled papaya salad), and small piece of their Royal Bibingka ...WoW! What a combo! I wanted to try the other items in the menu that same day! Michelin raters do not account for the ambiance. This place is a great place for a Michelin rating! Michelin Guide raters look exclusively at what is on the plate. They judge every restaurant using five strict, universally applied culinary criteria rather than looking at interior decor, table settings, or the level of formal service. Restaurants may receive One to Three MICHELIN Stars for the quality of their food based on five criteria: quality of the ingredients used, mastery of flavour and cooking techniques, the personality of the chef in the cuisine, harmony of flavours, and consistency between visits. https://guide.michelin.com/th/en/to-the-stars-and-beyond-th The service from the Chef/Owner/Cashier is exceptional and very accommodating. I was offered a free water after asking for tap water and was also given a small serving of their super sinigang to try out!=ox It was a perfect aperitif or a digestif depending when you drink it... The bibingka was not as fresh but I already had one that was fresh so, this will not take away any stars for the rating. Anyways, don't waste your time going to other restaurants nearby, this is the place to be, at least once a week or when you've tried each menu item and recommend this place to your Friends & Fams!=o) Great service, awesome, tasty & creative food in generous & inexpensive portions... come experience Pinoy Sa-wrap, you will come back for more!

I came here a month ago for the viral Lumpianadas but I came back again recently to check out what else Pinoy Sa-Wrap has to offer. For this next visit I got their rice bowls and their newest menu item, the Lumpia Nachos. The rice bowls are quite the deal for a little over $8 and come with egg, veggies and garlic rice. I tried their Vigan Longannisa as well as their Beef Tapa rice bowls and enjoyed both. The flavors are on point! If one is craving for larger portions, they also have silog meals that come with the same items plus royal bibingka. The rice bowls are great but my new favorite is their Lumpia Nachos. I got the loaded version for $5.99 and instantly became a fan! It consists of crisp lumpia wrapper pieces topped with Vigan Longanisa ground meet and layers of nacho cheese. It has a little bit of a spicy kick to it due to the cheese and every bite is so addicting! I know I'll be back to get these again. So sarap!! My Filipino heart is fully in love and my tummy is living its best life.

    Tapsilog! Champion!

The best Tapsilog + Longsilog in LA! I finally found my spot! This place is legit! I was greeted with friendly & genuine Filipino service and served authentic garlicky Tapsilog just the way I like it. (Tunay at Hindi Matamis) I will keep coming back! Be patient as your food is made to order.

Finally tried the Lumpianadas! I went on a Wednesday at about 9. There wasn't a long line. Since the lumpianadas are made to order I just had to wait about 20mins. I brought them home to my family and we were very pleased with the taste and size! They are quite filling! When I came they didn't have the extra fryer yet but I can imagine that they are pushing out more orders a bit faster now that they have it. It's also great to know that you can place your order ahead of time by calling. My mother is older and I don't think she would want to wait for an hour at the store. Since my folks are local it's nice to know they can call and come pick it up when the order is ready. I would definitely come back next time I'm in the area.

Found this place on tik tok going viral for their Lumpianadas. So of course I had to try it! I've been searching EVERYWHERE for them and to see that they are here locally, I was pretty stoked! They do had their own twist to the ilocos empanadas, but nonetheless still delicious and crispy! I did order ahead of time so I wouldn't have to wait long there. This place is located INSIDE the angelitos market!

Had a cousin dropped off to me in Calabasas and the Vigan longganisa is really good. I love that it's super juicy and fat and big. It's not like the skinny longganisa you buy at the Filipino store. I would say that this place is legit Ilocano food from Vigan. I can't wait to order more. Since I live far, I will order the frozen by the dozen and stock up. I definitely recommend this place.

Finally got to try this place. Pinoy Sa-Wrap specializing in Ilocano style silog style breakfast. It's a tiny place, inside the market. They are takeout business. What I ordered: The Vigan Longanisa Silog - it comes with garlic fried rice, topped with fried eggs, veggies, and a slice of royal bibingka. Side order of Beef Tapa Lumpianada My verdict: The Lumpianada is the winner for sure. Freshy made to order. The Crispy edges, and the fillings are generous and the flavor is excellent and authentic. The garlic vinegar sauce takes it to another level. Huge size, price is a little high but one will fill you up for sure. The Vigan Longanisa Silog generous portion with 3 small longanisa is perfect balance of garlic and vinegar. The garlic rice is just average to me, it needed more garlic but flavor is there, but the rice is a bit hard. Egg is cooked and seasoned to perfection. The royal bibingka is delicious. I wish I ordered extra. Overall the silog is great, but it was already cold when I got my order. I guess my plate was made and sitting while waiting for the Lumpianada to finish cooking. The side order of 1/2 pound of Beef Tapa is perfectly marinated, very tender. Service was excellent. Auntied working front and back was handling the busy morning crowd and also phone orders. I waited for 20-25 minutes for my order. I do suggest to phone your order in advance. The Silog wasn't perfect, was a already cold when I got it but its flavorful. The Lumpianada came out fresh and piping hot and winner for sure. I'll still rate them STARS. The price is average. Always support small businesses.

Got a surcharge for paying cash?

Came from oc to try the ilocos empanada. Not as bright orange/red as most are and very thin and airy outer layer of the empanada. I give this a 5/10 Its okay.. its very oily and not as flavorful when you eat into it. I rather eat a fried vegetable lumpia tbh. (Oh I paid cash BTW and got a surcharge) Pay attention to your receipt when you pay cash.

Oh my goodness, it's a game changer. Ilocos empanadas. Savory, crispy and oh so good! It's the ultimate comfort snack! If you don't eat it right away, pop it in the air fryer for a few minutes and it will crisp right back to that delicious crunch. Make sure you have your vinegar ready for dipping. I'm not so thrilled about the system of ordering. Wish they fix that.

    Beef Tapa Bowl
    Donald V.

I ordered the Beef Tapa and it was okay. The beef was a little dry. The food wasn't as hot as i'd like when I got it, which was disappointing because it was a long 30 minute wait. The portion size was good and the royal bibingka was yummy. Overall I think the wait and quality of food didn't match up.

So good I had to go back to back days. Made fresh to order. Takes about 10-15 mins. Outside is super crispy and the inside is piping hot. Combined with the suka/vinegar (and even the sweet and sour sauce), you've got and explosion of flavor! Plenty of parking in the lot. Not hard to find. When you walk in, kinda confusing. Half resto/half money remittance/lotto and scratchers stand, but clean nonetheless. Will definitely go back when craving calls for it. Recommend!

Great staff! My friend and I stopped into this great shop in Lomita and had a fabulous meal. I love the way they do their poke - you get to pick TWO flavors of meat! How fun! It was all fresh, good selection of ingredients and the taste in the Crunchy Tuna Garlic was superb! We also loved the Spicy Salmon Mayo. I'm a huge tocino fan so when I saw it on their menu I had to get it! I was surprised it came with two fried eggs and was a nice, big portion. We also had to try their Crispy Masubi and this was fantastic. I've had many deep fried masubi versions and this was much nicer than those. This was the best breaded type of masubi I've had. Absolutely loved it and would get it again in a second. Overall, fabulous meal at Poke & More that I would go back for.
