Delicious quick service ready to eat food. Clean restaurant and family owned. Lots of seating available

On a whim, my buddy and I stopped in for a quick snack bite of their Lechon Belly. The inside is quite cozy. On the left is a countertop with a large selection of prepared hot foods (fried fish, rice dishes, etc.) along with a menu of prepared-to-order dishes (sisig, bulalo, kalderetang kambing, etc.). In the middle is a couple of mixed agate tables with a handful of round, wooden, high tables against the front window. The cash register and meats menu are towards the center back. On the right is the counter with all the meats on display - lechon kawali (crispy pork) and more. My buddy and I grabbed just a quick snack of a half pound of their lechon belly ($17.99 per pound). The inner meat is slightly sweet and salty and just incredibly juicy and tender. The top is ultra thin and crispy. It comes with 2 sides - a sort of vinegary, soy kind of sauce and the (my fave) a sweeter, tangy sort of lechon liver sauce. ($17.99 per pound). Got a half p

Came in kind of late. My uncle wanted a beef kabob but the wait would be 20 min and I knew he was hungry. We got him pancit. I also got two sausages and an order of both chicken and pork Chicharron. The place is clean and staff is friendly. I have to come back so I can try more items. Service was quick. Pricing was reasonable.

Big selection of Filipino classic foods, all already prepared. Manila's Lechon is located in a strip mall, in the heart of Carson's filipino town. It has a bit of seating for dine-in, though the majority of people coming in were doing carryout. It's nice to be able to get lunch before 11am, since they open early for breakfast. My wife and I shared a 2 item combination plate ($11.99). Depending on what you get, it might be cheaper to get the items separately. It came with white Jasmine rice, and we ordered another large scoop for $2.50. A can of soda was $1.50. As typical, we chose one stick of the pork bbq, and a cup of the pork sinigang. All of this was from the left side of the restaurant, and you pay in the middle once prepared. They accept credit cards for over $10. In terms of the food, it had a ton of flavor but was extremely oily. The pork bbq stick had thinly sliced pork shoulder, bunched together on a stick and glazed with a very delicious sugarly sauce. Because it was so fatty, even though it had been thoroughly cooked, the meat was still moist. But this meant that many of the pieces were just total fat, unedible. The soup had large chunks of pork rib tips, but this made the broth so oily that we couldn't really eat it. Normally, we can just spoon it over the rice, but even that was difficult because of the fattiness. The soup just ended up being a conduit to keep the pork meat and vegetables hot, but the meat was tasty. Having a lot of rice is a must here. We finished everything, and I could still eat a little more, so decided to get the 1/2 portion of the namesake, Lechon Kawaii ($7.50), which is displayed on the right side of the restaurant. Super glad I did...had to wait 10 minutes for them to reheat the pork belly and chop it into bite sizes after paying. The piece of pork belly had plenty of meat, and just the right amount of fat along with the crispy skin. It's a good deal for that price, and it came with the peanut dipping sauce and vinegar. We really liked it, and brought about half of it home. All of the ladies inside were super helpful and friendly. They directed us to the hot/cold filtered water dispenser for free water when we only ordered one soda (and even directed me how to use it). They recognized that we were first timers, and everytime I looked their way, they would ask if we needed anything. I had to sheepishly say 'No'...I was just trying to take more pictures for this review. And when we left, they offered us a bag for our leftovers and wished us a genuine 'Good Bye and hope to see you again'.

My mom wanted halo halo, so I went here at 6pm on a Monday. One pair at a table eating and talking inside. It was pretty dead. Halo halo was $7.17 after tax. Paid in cash because it said $10 min for cards. Would order again

WARNING: ‼ Beware of this place. Not only was the food not warm, please make sure you check your receipt. We ordered 3 combo plates, an order of lechon kawali and lechon pork belly. Somehow our order came out to $78.50 (see receipt image). If you add the items we ordered on the receipt, it adds to $68.50 but somehow the total came out to $78.50. It would be okay if it was an honest mistake but when we brought it up to one of the male workers, he tried to justify how it came to that $78.50 price even though it wasn't on the receipt. He said the combos had another tax on them that wasn't on the receipt...which makes no sense. He made it sound like there was no mistake. Ultimately, one of the ladies was very nice and kindly recalculated the order on the cash register and saw it was a mistake and refunded us. We wouldn't have cared if it was a couple dollars but $10 is a little too much. Plus we didn't appreciate how the guy was trying to add a tax that wasn't on the receipt to justify the price. Anyway, just make sure you check the receipt if you decide on eating here.

I will start by saying you'd be wasting your time and money going here. Their food has to be reheated and refried. It is NOT fresh! It is NOT delicious. It is NOT worth the price. We ordered 3 dishes: - lechon (roast pork) - sisig (chopped up pork bits) - chicken and pork skewers Paid about $50 with tips. I should not have tipped. The food was truly indigestible. I stopped eating after a few bites. What should be a beautiful crispy roasted pork skin was rubbery, tasteless and just disappointing. The sisig was the biggest disappointment and the worst I have ever had. There were hair on little pieces of meat, and it was chewy and disgusting. My jaws were literally painful after chewing and chewing and chewing. It is a no brainer that the food was old. The pork skewers has so much of fat and it was nothing but sweet. A whole pile of plastic spoons fell to the floor. A staff picked it up and placed it back on the holder as if it had no issues. Disgusting especially when your kitchen floor was so dirty! Save your money and go find a nice filipino restaurants, there are many out there. The service here is pathetic and super slow. And it is expensive. I do not recommend this place, it is not worth it. I was disappointed and so were my family.

Ordered few items and sadly they were just so so. My crispy pork was deep fried in a fryer to be reheated and it was beyond dry and we threw it away and couldn't eat it.

Ordered 1/2lb lechon kawali and this is what we got (6oz with the container and wrapper) Ordered to-go so I can have dinner later and received less than what we paid for. I love to support small businesses but hate when they have to cheat us.

Their belly lechon is not good at all. The skin was so hard. I would never recommend my friends to buy belly lechon here.

The restaurant is tucked into a corner of a busy parking lot, but I was able to find a spot easily. The outside has a charming look that reminded me of a little island hut , with beautiful trees and green trim that give it a welcoming feel. When I walked in, I was immediately greeted by the aroma of food cooking in the kitchen. The staff welcomed me as I approached the cafeteria-style food counter. The menu hangs above, making it easy to look through the options. I asked about their veggie egg rolls, which were displayed in a separate case along with lumpia and other tempting treats. While learning about their veggie egg rolls and other dishes, I decided to order the egg rolls and was also drawn to the cantaloupe drink. On a warm day, the thin slices of cantaloupe floating in the drink looked so refreshing. The prices were very reasonable, and the egg roll itself was a great size. It also came with a dipping sauce that paired perfectly. I sat down to enjoy my lunch, and it did not disappoint. The vinegar-based sauce complemented the egg roll nicely, and the sweet cantaloupe drink balanced everything out for a great sweet-and-savory combo. Before leaving, I even bought another egg roll to take home. The staff were friendly, and I really enjoyed my lunch. I'll definitely be back to try some of the other dishes on the menu.

The food was good and met expectations -- no complaints there. However, I was very disappointed with the $60 delivery fee to travel just 5 miles to the park. We went here to try their filipino food on a saturday afternoon for lunch…read more The food prices were on the sit down area were on the higher end $20-30+ for normal, traditional mains that did not include rice, drinks, or sides (that is on the higher end for non gourmet filipino food). However, they also had a buffet style "scoop and go service" on the corner that has the same food on the menu but in combination plates and much more affordable pricing ($12+) that also included rice. We did not understand the discrepancy in pricing since it's the same food and pretty much the same sizing (maybe slightly smaller mains) though they may cook the food fresh/heat it up on the sit down area. My group ordered a variety of food including lechon kawali, garlic rice, vegetables, soup, pancit, etc. and they were very tasty and hit home! well seasoned. The place was not very busy so it was quick. We decided to sit in the restaurant with our ordered food since we were the only ones there. I ordered a main that was running low and the employee told me that they had to cook it and I had to wait which was fine with me. The man ended up not giving me much of the new cooked pieces but mostly of the leftovers and added a couple of pieces of the fresh ones, which was fine but with the wait made it disappointing since I could have just gotten some of the old pieces from the beginning and started eating it. Decent place - I would recommend their "scoop and go" service area for fast service and more reasonable pricing. *I heard they have karaoke in the late afternoon, which may change the vibe and atmosphere of this place so we may need to check that out! 3.2/5
