I was pleasantly surprised to find they're still here! I've known about Aling Delia's for decades on end now since my mechanic (who used to have a shop down the street) recommended to check it out. He described it as a non nonsense, no frills place, but the food is on point. I meant to checkout Pinoy Sa-Wrap a few feet down, but they weren't doing kitchen service when I came through, so I ended up here instead. It was time for a come back anyway. There's a bit of improvement - it seems roomier and a lot brighter. Half the tables were occupied given it's a lunch rush and all. After taking a quick look at what they had to offer, place my orders in: MONGO AND ANY CHICKEN: Special 2 item combo for the day (at $3 less than regular price.) Didn't try the mongo, but the chicken curry was delicious! DAING NA BANGUS AND PORK STEAK: The fish was dried, seasoned and a considerable size! The small snag is that it isn't boneless, BUT the size totally makes up for it. The pork steak (it's bisteck but pork version) was tender and savory delicious. CANTALOUPE DRINK: The genius behind the way they make it here is that they shred the fruit small so it doesn't get stuck in the straw! Could use a bit more sugar, but still delish. It was gone by the time I got home. Also got an order of pork adobo and paksiw to take home. FOOD: 5. SERVICE: 4. VALUE: 4. PARKING: Shared Private lot with others. Plenty of spots open. This place hit the spot for a taste of back home. I ordered pork sinigang with rice and it was delicious! My one gripe was the was the soup was packaged. I ate in my car so I was already pressed for space, the plastic soup container with PIPING hot soup was oily all over and then wrapped over with saran wrap multiple times. I get the idea, but the execution was not it :( surely there's got to be a better way. I nearly burned my fingers trying to dig into the yummy soup haha. read more

This is a small mom and pop that sells affordable and one of the best Filipino food. Always and in popular demand is their famous pork bbq on stick. Delicious and full of flavor. I was stuck on the freeway during rush hour when I decided to get off the jam and enjoy dinner while the traffic died down. The plan worked flawlessly. It's been years since I've been to Aling Delia's but am very happy to have rediscovered this place again! Takeout is the new norm nowadays and Along Delia's makes takeout so easy. They've got 6 ft distancing marks on the floor and the employees make sure folks are complying at all time. Everyone is wearing masks. Employees also use trays to hand out over money/change (similar to how it is done in Japan). The food is very affordable and they have a daily $4.99 combo special! It's a quite a deal. Today's $4.99 special was mongo beans with any chicken dish. If you're not interested in the $4.99 deal however; their regular combo prices are not that bad either! The most expensive is $7 and you get two meats. Among their offerings are fried lumpia, fried chicken, chicken adobo, chicken tinola, chicken curry, pork steak, lechon, pork bbq and pancit. My only comment is that I wish they did offer more beef dishes versus pork. The pork bbq was good (would get that again) but the pork steak I got was a bit too fatty for me. There was too many slices of fat versus lean meat in the pork steak. I will most likely skip on the pork steak next time. Overall however I like the affordable dishes and see myself coming back again. read more

This is a very nice Filipino restaurant. My parents and I have been coming here for 28 years already since I was in second grade. A truly classic Carson Filipino restaurant with a few others and it's one of the best Filipino restaurants in Carson. Really nice people who work here too and they make great delicious food. I'm young so my favorites have always been their lumpia, pancit, and BBQ sticks since I was little and their lechon kawali is pretty good too. Their sinigang and fried fish is great too. The guy at the counter was nice but, when he was in the back he was loud and yelling at the workers in the back. I understand Tagalog so it turns out he was joking with them but, for a moment it was kinda awkward eating and hearing the loud guy. FOOD: -Pork Bbq I mainly come here for their bbq! It's one of the best I've had since coming here to America. The bbq is very similar to what my mom would make in the Philippines. You can taste that grill/charcoal flavor which I love :D -Bagnet I love bagnet in general which is fried pork belly and then cut into bite sized chunks! Crispy crunchy skin, juicy meat, it doesn't get better than that! Well actually, it does when you dip those pork nuggets of goodness in their homemade sarsa/ Mang Tomas sauce! This type of sauce is usually served with lechon, lechon kawailli, crispy pata, or bagnet. I love their version here, better than the bottles of Mang Tomas sauce sold at filipino grocery stores. -Pork Ribs I used to come here also for their pork ribs dish. The ribs are very tender and sit in a wonderful sauce (maybe soy sauce base?). But they don't cook it as often as before or maybe they just run out :( -Sisig Their sisig is also amazing! Usually sisig consists of roasted pig ears, snout, liver, and other organs I don't like. But here their sisig only has meat and some onions! SERVICE: I love the service here! They are always friendly and makes my eating experience more enjoyable. AMBIANCE: An average filipino joint with plenty of seating but no air conditioning. So I recommend getting your food to go cuz it can get pretty hot in there. But they do put out an electric fan for those who decide to eat there. ****The four stairs are mainly for the food I mentioned above and the service.
