I have been coming to Fetch since February 2020 when I had just moved to Phoenix. I LOVE this store! The owner, Raquel, is very knowledgeable and helped me transition my dogs to raw food. This is a fabulous pet food store. The owner is very knowledgeable & has great products. I was visiting Phoenix from out of town and had forgotten to bring my Chihuahua's dog food. He's an older dog with some health issues & is a very picky eater. The owner recommended a dog food and also a probiotic to go with it. My little one loved both of them, which is saying a lot for the taste. Also, when he's eaten, many times he gets an upset stomach and won't eat for a full day afterwards. Several hours after eating this food, he was hungry again, which is great because he's skinny & skipping a meal is not a good idea for him. The staff is amazing here! I'm already a really indecisive person when it comes to anything and I really needed some insight on a few things because my pup has been having some health issues lately so I've been trying to take his diet more seriously. It was a bit overwhelming at first trying to learn all by myself but the staff really showed that they cared and were also extremely helpful & knowledgeable, they made me feel at ease when I left the store. I received a 2" orange blinking light up dog charm that came with a hook that attaches to your dog's collar. It was a free promo item given away at the dog festival early 2022. I put one on my dog's collar. Later she had an itch by her neck and started scratching. Her nail got caught on the hook of this item and she started screaming. She couldn't put her back leg down on the ground and I couldn't get her nail loose. I couldn't settle her down and she kept moving and screaming. She finally pulled hard enough to release her caught nail. However this almost ripped her nail off. Please do not give these promo charms away anymore!!! read more

This is a perfect example how bigger isn't better. Kodi's hands on owner, Rhonda, is very knowledgeable and helpful. Rhonda only carries quality, premium brands, including the super brands that you just can't buy at the big box stores like Petco and Petsmart. The best of the best brands like ZIWI Peak, Orijen and Primal do not sell chain stores. The difference between Kodi's and Pet Club is Kodi's has a knowledgeable hands on owner in Rhonda who is there to help, educate and inform her customers. Pet Club on the other hand hires young kids without the experience, knowledge, or desire to meet your needs that a "hands on owner" brings to the table. Our Beagle had suddenly lost use of her hind legs on 4th of July. A blood test, x-rays, and 6 hours at the vet later and we still had no explanation for what was wrong. We were very concerned we may have to put her down, but we wanted to try alternatives. (The other option was $4,000 MRI follower by a $9,000 surgery that may or may not help her...as much as we want to help her, we just can't afford such a cost.) I stumbled upon Kodi's when looking into CBD oil for dogs. We brought our dog into the store (which is allowed as long as they are leashed) and asked the owner questions. She was very kind and very concerned for our dog; she pet her and gave her snacks after asking our permission if it was ok. We had never used CBD before, but she was very helpful with suggesting a product and advising us how to use it. She told us the story of why she opened the store after her dog, Kodi. It was really sweet! Drop in to check out the photos of her beautiful dog! We left there with some drops, Canna-Pet snacks, and some wet food, and we will definitely be back...after our visit there and about 3 weeks of using the drops and snacks, (as well as some PT and a little time in the swimming pool) our beagle has regained most of the functions in her hind legs! She still hobbles a bit, but you should see her start running when she knows she's about to get a treat! She is still a very happy dog and we owe a lot of thanks to Kodi's!! read more

I'm all about being healthy and supporting local businesses. I decided to check out kodis since I'm huge on my dogs health and that's what they advertise. I was super excited to finally check them out since having a wonderful experience at Pet Planet and learning to much from their employees. I was highly disappointed with the greeting I received upon walking into Kodis. That is, if you would even call it a greeting. Rhonda made me feel so uncomfortable. It was as though I was bothering her by having walked in the store. Needless to say I walked right out and drove right over to Pet Planet at Squaw Peak Plaza. I was greeted by a warm friendly smile ready to help and engage in the well-being of my dog. I don't know why everyone is saying such nice things about this place! The lady could not have been MORE RUDE to me. I was given a coupon for a free bag of cat food from the Regional Sales Manager of Orijen. When I showed the owner the coupon, she looked at it for about a minute. I was left to stand there feeling really uncomfortable. I kept waiting for her to say something. When I explained where I had gotten the coupon, she hesitated and then said "Well I better get reimbursed for this" in a snarky tone. This is NOT good business. In the last year I've transitioned my two cats to grain-free food, and now my 12-year-old dog as well. While the food is more expensive, you really do get what you pay for! My animals are much healthier and we are all happier. Rhonda, the owner, is great at offering advice and always is ready with the free samples. Plus, my dog was experiencing seizures recently, and after I switched to a more natural dry food and wet food, and of course got her on medication, the seizures have disappeared! One day I was short of the wet food, and I used a bit of the old wet food, and low and behold, she had a seizure a short time later (after days of no seizures at all). I really do feel that commercial food is cutting our furry friends' lives short and will only do a natural and healthy diet from now on. And after much research online, I was happy to find that Kodi's carries one of the brands I was interested in. And if she doesn't have it, Rhonda will order it for you!
