Popping in for another 5 stars because I've been seeing Brittany at now, for over a year and she never ceases to amaze me. Consistency central! The way she keeps my dog comfortable, every time we come in my pup is ecstatic to see her! She soothes her through the more difficult tasks like ear plucking. The haircut is always exactly what we discussed. She's talented beyond measure. And I have a golden doodle!! it's so hard to find great and patient doodle groomers! I love this place. I love all the staff and I'm so grateful to have found it. read more

I just get a nail trim when I come in, but it's always fast and they really care about the dogs!

Wonderful experience! Brittney did an amazing job grooming my poodle mix, and everyone who worked there was so friendly. I've also used their self-wash station in the past, and they provide all the supplies you need. Great prices, excellent service, and a fantastic selection of food, treats, and toys. Highly recommend! Love this place! They have awesome homemade treats that our corgi loves. They also sell cute little birthday cakes which our dog ate very excitedly. Nothing made him sick and he always enjoys eating treats, cookies or cakes from this location. We have also used some of their services such as nail clipping. The items like toys can be a little pricey but overall I continue to return to this location for nice snacks for my dog. The customer service is also very good. Our dog gets so excited when he sees us come home with one of their signature brown bags! The store also has special events every so often. For example, they recently had a free donut treat for dogs for national donut day! Very fun. read more

I took my brand new adoptee (a very overgrown lil guy) here today for his first spaw day since we've met. I didn't know much of anything about how he would treat a groomer or behave. He had at least 3x the coat he needed, among other needed maintenance areas. He was treated so well by Brittany (sp?) and came home looking, feeling, and smelling fabulous! I've always loved supporting this business, but now I feel great knowing I can take this new guy in and he'll get the best treatment. Thank you! read more

My sweet little ginger snaps was Terrified of getting her nails done, and they were getting crazy. I didn't know what to do because every time we tried to do them at home, she would scream bloody murder. I cannot believe the level of service and skill because her nails look stellar with zero drama! Mother and baby are doing just fine. Pay no attention to the negative reviews, we love bark if you're dirty! I've been coming here for about a year now and I've had absolutely no issues whatsoever. We've been all over the place for self serve pet washes and this one is by far our favorite. The employees are always so sweet here. My dog gets so excited to see the employees. This is the only pet wash that I've been to here in Arizona with dog shampoos that actually have a lasting scent. My dog does have sensitive skin and they don't irritate her at alllllll. They also seem to have the best water pressure out of all the places I've been as well. Other than the pet wash they have a variety of natural treats. We also love the birthday cakes here! read more

I am so incredibly disappointed in this location. I have been taking my 2 miniature doodles here for years. Their next appointment was scheduled for 4/12 at 8 am, booked weeks ago (and note this was the FIRST AVAILABLE they could accommodate both, same time, on a weekend given I work standard business days/hours). Today they called me to let me know (one week out) that they aren't able to honor my appointment because my dogs are "large" and they cannot have them done at the same time. Dogs they have been grooming for years. I am absolutely floored by the lack of professionalism for a once-loyal customer who spends $300+ for 2 grooms regularly that oops, just a silly system mistake and seems like they can accommodate all of their other clients but not me. So disappointed and will not be returning here and can no longer recommend their services either. What a terrible customer experience. read more

The ladies in this shop were so nice and helpful! They have a huge selection of pet goodies. I went here to get my puppies a birthday cake and treats. They did not disappoint! The ladies recommended giving the puppies a small slice of the treats to make sure their tummies didn't get upset, I listened to the experts. I look forward to returning for more goodies for my puppies, I don't plan to only treat them on their birthday lol read more

Walked in on a Sunday and got helped right away. Did a great nail trim on my difficult min pin. Definitely coming back.

I really didn't want to leave a negative review, but after today's experience, I feel like I have to speak up. I stopped by to give my dog a bath and noticed they were accepting walk-ins for grooming. Since my pup needed a quick face trim, I figured I'd give it a try. They told me it would take about 3 hours -- no problem. But less than an hour later, I got a call from Gabriel, who sounded visibly annoyed, telling me to come pick up my dog because she was barking. Mind you, this was her first time at this location, so of course she was a little anxious. Instead of being understanding, I was told to come get her immediately. When I arrived, I told the front desk staff I hoped my dog hadn't been mistreated. She responded by saying that Gabriel was frustrated because my dog wouldn't let him groom her. I'm sorry, but isn't that part of the job -- knowing how to work with anxious or nervous pets? Then, as Gabriel brought my dog out, he accidentally hit her with the bottom of the door -- she yelped, and my heart sank. It made me wonder what else might have happened during the short time she was there. He didn't apologize, didn't show any concern -- just told me to bring her at 8 a.m. next time because she was "distracting other dogs." To top it all off, her face was unevenly trimmed and still wet when I got her back. I've taken her to other groomers and never had an issue like this. Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and compassion here. read more

Always friendly and able to get my difficult pug in for a nail trim! The team that works there is extremely helpful.

Been bringing all my dogs here for grooming over the last 3-4 years and we are always greeted with a ! The staff a very familiar with all of their products and today Christina helped me find a food and some products for my underweight, and hyperactive, Chihuahua puppy "Peanut". She recommended a dog food with duck as the main protein and also showed me some CBD supplements to help calm her activity down. Their prices are right on point and the best thing about Bark if You're Dirty is that they guarantee EVERYTHING they sell (products), opened or not, for 90 DAYS! You must show your receipt and they will do an exchange or give your money back. This is great for finicky eaters. The groomers and staff here absolutely love animals and it shows in how they greet and treat your pet throughout the grooming. You can watch your dog or cat through the large window get groomed and safety is their number one motto. Brittany needed to step away from the grooming table during my dogs groom and she had another staff member stay with my dog in case he fell overboard (even though he was leashed to the table). Thank you guys for always providing great service and loving my dogs as you would live your own Would give 5 more stars if allowed. read more

It was my Furbaby LilyRay's and I on our first experience ever with Bark If You're Diry, and we absolutely will be returning. The staff was friendly and courteous from our first step inside. I believe they build rapport with the customer because they automatically knew we were new customers and walked us through the process willing and available to answer questions when needed . They weren't pushy or annoyed even though it was closer to closing time. Even the other customers were friendly understanding and patient. I've been bringing my dog to Bark If You're Dirty for nearly 3 years, but after yesterday's experience, I will not be returning. The service was shockingly unprofessional. Gabe, the groomer, didn't complete my dog's grooming, first blaming his overloaded schedule, then turning around to blame my dog, claiming she was being difficult and not receptive to grooming which is baffling as she's never had an issue before. When I asked to speak with someone in charge, I was told there was no manager available, and that Gabe's job was to simply "shown up see his schedule and fulfill it" His attitude was incredibly passive aggressive throughout our interaction with zero accountability and professionalism. When I requested my dog back, he handed her over in a condescending manner and said, "Here you go, free of charge," which felt more like a jab than a gesture of goodwill. I waited at the front desk to voice my concerns, and while Amelia initially tried to listen, things escalated quickly when Gabe came back out and began arguing with me yet again. Instead of deescalating, Amelia joined in the dismissive attitude by supporting Gabe rather than the customer's distress. Both employees handled the situation with disrespect and zero professionalism. I am extremely disappointed by how my dog and I were treated as this is NOT how any customer should be treated. I understand we all have busy schedules things happen and we can become overwhelmed however, the fact that I had to leave with an unfinished grooming, a stressed-out dog, and a horrible experience is beyond frustrating. This used to be a place I trusted, sadly not anymore. read more

Great place! Love the DIY dog wash stations. Staff are friendly. Large selection of food and treats as well.

Today you all lost a customer. We have been customers of Bark If You're Dirty for the past 5 years. We started using them when there were known as (Wag n Wash). I have two dogs. One that requires full grooming and the other that only requires nail trim services. This morning I arrived a little past 8:30 to bring my pup for a full grooming service. Our original appointment was suppose to be for Saturday morning at 8am on 8/19. I was contacted by Bark If You're Dirty on 8/17 requesting that we reschedule due to a scheduling error on their end. They offered the reschedule for 8/18. The times presented for the rescheduling will be posted in the screenshot of the messages. I asked if I could drop off at 8:45 am since the first rescheduling time available was 8am. The second was 9am. I asked if I could drop off at 8:45am since I drop off my children for school in the mornings and could not get there by 8 exactly but knew I could before 9. I received a "that is perfect" response regarding an 8:45am drop off time. I arrived at 8:34am earlier than agreed time of 8:45am. No problem I can wait for the agreed time but since we arrived I wanted to ask if they were ready for my pup possibly earlier. Upon arrive I walked up to the door and realized it was locked. The two employees working behind the counter station just looked at me and one kept on scrolling through a phone and the other kept eating. I did take note that the open sign was not on and the store it self opens at 9am. Because I was earlier than 8:45, I text back the number that text me to reschedule initially informing them we had arrived and asking if they will still be receiving my pup at 8:45. No response back. A few other employees of this facility were walking around the store looking my direction but continuing on. I waited until 8:45. Still no one came to the door to ask any questions or even acknowledge us etc. Once 8:45 past and still no help from those inside the store along with still no text back we left. I called to inform the store that they could cancel our appointment and shared my sentiments about how it is very indecent to ignore a customer regardless of if the store has opened yet or not. The woman on the phone stated that they did not open until 9 and they were unaware of the grooming time. I informed her that is unfortunate that the staff is not communicating effectively so everyone is aware of what time the grooming are beginning. I also informed of how I was asked to reschedule due to an issue on their end. I accommodated but they clearly did not. I advised I would be leaving a review and contacting the owner. The disappointing thing here is I actually like the store and the pet food options. The wash stations, grooming supplies etc. . The groomers have previously been great and typically I have no complaints. My appointment was made over two weeks again for Saturday. However I was contacted to reschedule. I was able to but upon arrival the communication on their end again was not clear and we were left to wait with no acknowledgement. Where was the human decency? We won't return. I get that things happen sometimes and communication lines get crossed but those that open the store can really do better about just genuinely caring to be concerned about people waiting outside with their pets. It's not unheard of the pet stores start grooming services before the store itself opens. I didn't appreciate our time being wasted this morning. Please do better so no other customers have to experience what I did this morning. Don't offer grooming times of 8am if you can not accommodate. read more

I go here about once a month to self-service wash my dog. The staff is always really nice and helpful and they do a great job cleaning up my dogs hairy mess (she sheds a lot). Excellent Service, clean store. Great samples given to see what kind of food my puppy likes before buying a full bag!

Brought my dog here for a grooming and loved it! The staff is friendly, and you can tell they really pride themselves on their work. As long as you communicate what you want (and are realistic about the current status of your dogs' coat) they can provide a great experience for your dog! Amazing! Will be coming back! Our dog loved it and we found her some good treats. Amazing service!

I highly recommend bark if you're dirty! Britney is amazing, I have an old dog and the time and care she takes is incredible.

Since having this initial bad experience, I continued to come here while I found another place and I'm glad I did. I initially wrote the two star review out of frustration right after this encounter, but since then I have gotten the great service we received before this one altercation. The staff are always very helpful and my dog Enzo absolutely loves them. read more
