Wow! Saw the incredible ratings for Miss Daisy and she did not disappoint! I don't think they were taking new clients but we begged them to do our grand dame kitty, Missy Elliott. She worked quickly and efficiently, and before we knew it, Missy had her new do. They were very gentle with her (18 years+), even cleaning the insides of her ears. She feels like a new kitty. Thank you again for helping Missy. We so appreciate it!

Took our dog to Miss Daisy's a handful of times and only got what we truly asked for one time. I asked them not to shave her down this time and was totally bummed when I picked her up. She is shaved all the way down to almost skin. I had her brushed and she did have a mat behind her ear and the lady said she would have to shave that off - totally fine! In the past, they have called or text me and let me know they didn't have time to do the fancy grooming we like and if they can trim her down. I at least had the opportunity to say yes or no. No call or text today to let us know they were going to shave her all the way down. My kids faces when I brought her home today Our whole family loves our girl with her fluffy hair. I should have learned from the last time and didn't take her back for a long time. Thought I would give it another shot! I would have appreciated a call that they wanted to do what I specifically asked them not to do. I would have said never mind and went and picked her up! Dora said if I felt better about taking her somewhere else to do so and I absolutely agree! We won't be going back! I gave a 2 star because I know they can do what most doodle owners want but it's definitely not guaranteed and they do what they want and not what you ask for!

Terrible experience. When I made the appointment for my dog to get groomed I explained that my dog recently had a wound on his leg but that it was healed and recommended that they be cautious around that area. I pick him up and in the car I notice he's bleeding. They did not tell me anything about it when I picked him up! It's not a small cut so I would have appreciated some heads up! I texted and called and she finally texted me back saying that he must've ran into a wall in the shower, which doesn't make sense. How can you get a slit-looking deep cut from running into a wall. She said sorry and that we would get a discount if we bring him in again but we will NOT be bringing him there again. The least she could have done was told me about it or answered my call.

Dora has taken care of Talia several times now.... and she looks amazing every time! Talia has a difficult coat, as she is Bijon and Maltese. She can mat very easily. I've had places in the past that just shave her and don't even try. I don't like my dog shaved! I also like that it's open in a way that you can watch the grooming. I really don't feel comfortable with the places that do it behind closed doors. Not only that, they are so friendly and accommodating!!!!

Dora is amazing and we are so thankful that we found her! We plan to stick with her as long as she'll keep us. I am consistently satisfied and overjoyed with the results every time I bring my dog here (he's a big, hairy Portuguese Water Dog). He goes in looking like a shaggy rag doll and comes out looking so dapper :) The groomers and owner are exceptionally kind, communicative, and flexible. Called their number, it said to make an appointment by text or leave a message. I texted, took them a day to respond. They scheduled my dog the next day at 4 pm. We get to their business and it is CLOSED. Tried to reach them but got no answer, didn't even reply to my text as to why they made an appointment with us without any intent to deliver. To the business owner, please respect other people's time. Don't schedule if you're not planning to show up. read more

Dora is exceptional with our dog. We initially began taking our dog to Petsmart where Dora worked. Our dog was a rescue from the shelter and afraid of everybody. Dora was gentle and patient. A year later Dora opened her own mobile grooming service. Our neighbors rave about her. I love the mobile service. It is incredibly convenient. Often we coordinate our day with the neighbors and have all the dogs groomed on the same day. We have a lab mix while my neighbors have smaller doggies that need lots of upkeep. I wish there were more than 5 stars to pass along! read more

Miss Daisy Pet Grooming is the BEST!!! I am guilt-ridden for not writing a review years ago. Dora, the owner, has groomed our Pomeranian, Boromir, from the inception of her grooming business--first as a mobile dog groomer and now at her permanent location in Phoenix. Our now-10-year-old Pomeranian has been seeing Dora every three to four weeks for years. We also take our two-year-old German Shepherd, Buddy, to Miss Daisy Pet Grooming every six to eight weeks. We have recommended Dora to all our dog-loving friends. It is easy to schedule an appointment and not only will they give you an estimated pick-up time, but they will also text you when your dog is ready, if that is your preference. The prices are extremely reasonable, the facilities are clean, and, most importantly, they treat your cherished fur-babies wonderfully. Dora makes you and your dogs feel like family. The entire staff at Miss Daisy Pet Grooming is fantastic. They do a great job grooming both our dogs. Our Pomeranian always looks so handsome and smells so good afterward. Also, as many people know, German Shepherds shed heavily all year long and blow their undercoat twice a year. Miss Daisy Pet Grooming has done an incredible job in helping us greatly reduce our beloved German Shepherd's massive fur shedding. We wouldn't trust our dogs with anyone else! After reading several, well... many, OK HUNDREDS of reviews for groomers in my area I decided to take Roxxi the Wonder Yorkie - who was rocking a Chewbacca meets Cousin It look- to Miss Daisy's. Scheduling was fast and easy. We were greeted upon walking in and Roxxi didn't get an instant case of the shakes - always a good sign. They genuinely seemed to care about her comfort level... and mine too. What I really, really, REALLY love is that they did not cut her topknot as requested. Man oh man what a relief! I highly recommend Miss Daisy's for your pets grooming needs. I took our dog Charlie to get groomed here today! They did a great job. This was her 3rd time getting groomed and her first time getting groomed at a groomers. The first 2 times have been at home. She was nervous at first but when I picked her up she looked beautiful and she was so happy. She has been happy all day. I think she had a good time and made new friends there with Jose, Carmen and Dora. We will definitely be back!!! I'll be bringing my cat there to get her nails trimmed. Thank you!! read more

I cannot say enough about Dora and her crew. Louis is only a puppy and this is the only groomer he's been to see. He LOVES going to get groomed. I always like to support my local community proprietors so when I was in need of a pet groomer I checked out Miss Daisy. I am so glad that I did. Dora and her staff are amazing! Not only are her skills by far superior than most groomers that I tried, her salon was impeccable and even Harlan showed no signs of separation anxiety when I picked him up. Dora and team are amazing. We have two rough coated collies who I'm sure provide a challenge to any groomer. I've never been 100% satisfied after a grooming so have continued to shop around the Phoenix area. I brought them to Dora in July before we went on a big trip to Michigan for seven weeks. When I went to pick them up I was SPEECHLESS. They looked and felt like clouds, it was amazing. There were no awkward scissor lines anywhere - they were beautifully blended and rid of what seemed like pounds of undercoat. Dora even brushes their teeth! I was also a regular for years, this last time We go pick up our dog and turns out she was so traumatized that she had diarrhea no stop They gave her to us dirty smelling bad, she's a golden doodle, not aggressive at all but this place nor does require proof of vaccination, even tho they say they do, nor they crate the animals, so they are left at their mercy, who knows what really happened in there, but my dog was also nipped all over her legs and around her eyes she got a bad cut in the eye area, they also had the audacity to charge extra for the cleaning I imagine, they take no responsibility, no ownership of their wrong doing for the stress and the pain caused to your dog, we had to go home and bathe our dog again, they are shady, no integrity in this business, please beware and do your research I'm now just thankful that my dog survived!

I appreciate that they come to your home and only take care of your dog at the session. This provides a quicker experience with less distractions and more assurance that the groomer's full attention is on your dog. If you have any special concerns/requests for your dog, I recommend calling them and asking for a groomer that has more experience with your concerns. I mentioned my concern with cutting my dogs warts and they recommended we work with Margaret. Margaret was great and managed to give our dog a short cut without cutting his warts. Really appreciate them. I'm giving 4 stars bc it is a bit pricey, the generator outside the house is quite loud, and the groomer was 30 minutes late.

They send a text when they are finished and they even followed it up with a phone call to make sure I was on the way. I really like that they don't crate the dogs while waiting to be picked up. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. I am so grateful to the yelpers who reviewed this place. I've been searching for a good mobile pet groomer for a long time (my last two encounters were strangely sketchy- one time I offered them a cup of coffee since it was early Saturday morning and they took it a little too far. They came inside and talked to us for 40 minutes while their water heated up using our electric outlet. Another time they actually told us in conversation they allowed their Grandpa to beat their family dog with wooden boards.) Anyway, I digress. Dora (owner) is absolutely amazing. My dogs were very comfortable with her and he she did an impeccable job grooming them. She is very sweet, very straight forward, and very good at her job! This place is awful!!!!! The owner is just horrible. She does not seem to like animals She was extremely rough with my dog, and got irritated with my dog very easily while trimming her nails. My dog is 14 years old, she is timid and scared of having her nails done. There was a man working there before that was good with my dogs but this lady is a wicked witch!!!! She cut my dog and let is leave bleeding without saying anything. When we got in the car, my dog was bleeding profusely!!!! That lady is a monster! She doesn't even like dogs! Miss Daisy (Dora) is absolutely excellent! She grooms some of the other dogs in my McCormich Ranch development and she's the best! I wouldn't trust my Scottie to any other groomer! She's reasonable, kind to the dogs and an excellent groomer. I highly recommend! read more
