I hate doing this to a small business but it may save a dogs life! I was also a regular for years, this last time We go pick up our dog and turns out she was so traumatized that she had diarrhea no stop They gave her to us dirty smelling bad, she's a golden doodle, not aggressive at all but this place nor does require proof of vaccination, even tho they say they do, nor they crate the animals, so they are left at their mercy, who knows what really happened in there, but my dog was also nipped all over her legs and around her eyes she got a bad cut in the eye area, they also had the audacity to charge extra for the cleaning I imagine, they take no responsibility, no ownership of their wrong doing for the stress and the pain caused to your dog, we had to go home and bathe our dog again, they are shady, no integrity in this business, please beware and do your research I'm now just thankful that my dog survived! read more

Stopped by to pick up a harness, leash and food for a new dog. The selection was very minimal and lacking in size options. Plenty of XS and LG/XL in harnesses and collars, but almost none in SM/MD. I was greeted upon entering, but while standing and looking through all of the minimal available product, I was never once asked if I needed assistance. Two people sat at the front desk on their phones. The atmosphere was loud and chaotic with many dogs crying and barking in the back of the grooming area. It was very distressing. My girlfriend had a previous experience with her dog going in to be groomed, and the staff dragged her dog on her leash instead of picking her up (she was a small 13 pound poodle mix...) Other than the options of healthy foods and snacks, I would not recommend shopping here. I personally will not be going back. read more

At 4:20 I called again and X told me she was ready 2 hours before and the text didn't send. X told me that she had water and was OK! When I talked to the man checking me out , I explained the situation and said I wasn't going to leave a tip. He then told me I should have called earlier!!! I said I had called and got no response. We've been taking our little one here for a couple of years now. It was a rocky start, and then we finally had him paired with a fabulous groomer that understood the type of haircut our little yorkie needed and eventually his anxiety about going subsided. This groomer worked with our pup for almost a year and we never had a single issue. Without notice, we picked our pup up from his recurring appointment and the haircut was so awful (the didn't trim the face at all and completely disregarded the sanitary cut). We called and they offered for us to bring him back to have it fixed. We did (which was a good faith offer), but it was super inconvenient and only caused more anxiety for our little guy. Fast forward, the next couple of visits were just off. The sanitary cut was hit / miss if it was getting done in full, and the face wasn't getting trimmed at all. We've stuck around after these visits to have the groomer fix the issues on the spot, again increasing the anxiety of our pup. Come to find out, our groomer was no longer employed and unfortunately we weren't notified. After having a long conversation with the new groomer, we (thought) we had an understanding of what we wanted done when we bring our little guy in. So, we requested this same groomer for our next visit. That brings us to our visit this past week... needless to say, our little guy was shaking when we dropped him off (which already had me worried). After picking him up, and doing a quick check, it appeared the sanitary cut got done; however, the face / ear area was not trimmed as much as we have asked for numerous times and instead, the haircut is so incredibly uneven. I even gave it a few hours thinking I was seeing it wrong. I wasn't. It was one of the worst cuts we've had to date. It took me the last few visits to contemplate leaving a public review. But after consistently poor experiences it's brought me here. Before I did post this I reached out to Doggy Daze directly in an attempt to rectify this privately. However, after several days we never heard back. After too many unfortunate mishaps, snd not hearing back from the owners / management, and constant bad haircuts, lack of attention and redos, it's brought me here unfortunately. After being a loyal customer for a couple of years now, we will be shopping for a new groomer. UPDATE: It took over a week but finally got a response from the manager. A refund for the service was provided. We'll still be on the search for a new groomer. So unfortunate this little local hidden gem went down hill like it did. read more

UPDATE for latest visit; our Kuma came out crying, still had eye gunk on his eyes, his nails looked like they were cut in a hurry with nail pieces hanging off, that I had to buff, his hair was flying all over as if they just trimmed it and let it all off itself, vacuumed that up, and his face was not cut properly as he still had fur above his eyes I gad to cut myself. It appeared they were very busy and in a rush. I'm not sure if I will be back here again . You can see the difference between the two visits in the pictures. This place has become disappointing to us. We have been bringing our dog here for probably 4 years now. The business was great at first but now there seems to be an issue after each groom. We tell them to make the ears a bit shorter and they don't. Or they continuously cancel or reschedule the appointment. Just little things like that at first which is not a big deal but then we started having an issue with clipper burn from his sanitary cut. We explained to not have them shave it all the way down or use a bigger guard and it seemed to be fine after they started doing that. This time though they seemed to disregard this request when we dropped off our dog for his usual cut and he's got a clipper burn again. Very upsetting to see my dog all uncomfortable/in pain. My chihuahua Buster is a big cry baby when it's time to get his nails done. I called this place who told me I could walk in, no appointment (SWEET!!) I show up and they immediately take him to the back, I could hear Buster yelping from the front door, but they had him taken care of in like 5 minutes and he was wagging his tail ready to go. What a relief, much easier then me trying to hold him as he tries to get away and trying not to hurt him. For $10 he was good to go. Super friendly staff, lots of dogs in the house. We always always ask for a de shed and cologne with his bath, and he gets in my car shedding more than he did when I dropped him off and NEVER gets the cologne. He just smells like the other dogs they put him in the play area with when he's done. Then, I received an email saying they're raising their prices. Insane. We just walked in and were enthusiastically greeted by X. We have a 50 lb American Pit Bull that we just adopted from the Humane Society. He had been abused so we didn't know how he would tolerate being groomed. Hank easily transitioned to the staff. When we picked him up he was happy and clean. Doggy Daze also has a nice variety of toys and treats. We picked up some CBD bars because Hank has some separation anxiety. Prices were reasonable for all services and products. This was my pet's favorite grooming place but the last 3 haircuts she's gotten here have been so bad. Very uneven and they made her head look like a square. I'll never be coming back here again. This was the 3rd time they've messed up on my dogs. I finally got a good groomer a couple of years ago and they had a note in the system to make sure she was the one that groomed my dog. I booked my appointment and confirmed it was with the groomer in the notes and they said it was. Yet, they let someone else groom him. I've attached other photos that show how he should look on a proper grooming. Honestly, I had to take my own clippers to my dog to fix my $95 ($30 tip because I'm generous and they'd been doing a decent job for the past two years) trim I had just paid for and I have to take him every 6-8 weeks to get groomed. Stay as far away from this business as possible, especially if you have a Schnauzer of any kind. The groomers there have no idea how they are supposed to be groomed. read more

First visit to Doggy Daze in January 2025 was a great experience. My Schnoxie came back to me clean, fluffed and lookin' REALLY good. However, a good groomer, for me, is more than how a pet looks. It's also about how they are treated. This is the reason I'll no longer return there. 2nd visit was 180° turnaround. Besides a very disappointing groom (poor cut, untouched face and underbelly, and no Teddy Bear look SO unlike the 1st time), I found his nails had not been smoothed, so I asked to have it done. While waiting, I wandered back to the little gated room where Monti was waiting to get that additional service and watched him through the window. That's when I saw a large young man reach over the gate grabbing Monti by the back of his neck, roughly drag him into the closed gate and lift him into his arms. The man turned Monti onto his back squeezing him into a position where he struggled but couldn't move while another guy took his feet to grind his nails. By time I got around to the area where I had direct access to where they held my boy, obviously frightened and attemptimg to bite his way to freedom, they'd forced a muzzle on him. At that point, I demanded the large man release Monti to me, and confronted him on his mistreatment of the animal. My complaint was VERY CLEARLY, expressed to the front desk individual as well. It appeared that the young people involved in this incident where not, by any stretch of the imagination, trained in appropriate handling of those animals in their care and trusted by pet parents not to be mistreated. Having to leave such a detailed, negative review is unfortunate, but perhaps it will help the next Doggy Daze client be aware of what happens behind the scenes of this place. So much for relying on what looks like questionable positive reviews... For me? NEVER AGAIN! read more

I was left so amazed by Doggy Daze!!! My pup had never gotten groomed before and I was afraid to leave her in the hands of just anyone. But they've had such amazing reviews so I decided to trust them with my fur love. I scheduled with Michael and he eased my fears over the phone beforehand which made me feel very good. Our groomer was so sweet- she listened to what I thought I wanted (I had no idea) and I trusted them to make her adorable. So I left her with them. The atmosphere was so happy and colorful and full of lots of fun pup and other animal toys. Also lots of food options for animals, which I was educated on some as well as to what's best for my pet. The prices were reasonable for seemingly great wholesome foods for your fur babies ($18 for a bag of 4lbs). The treats and toys were a little pricier than what I prefer but I did grab a few toys per recommendations for what my pups need after another great conversation with Michael. So overall, my little pup got a massive makeover. But she definitely needed it. She was struggling with so much long hair and when she came out I almost didn't recognize her but her sweet little eyes I'd never been able to admire as much as I can now. So the groom was great, my experience was great and I'll be definitely taking her in for my upkeep here. read more

my dog was groomed at Doggy Daze two days ago and at first glance looked quite beautiful when we picked her up. However she was in great distress when we came home and the day after and had to be taken to the vet, who discovered a nick above her anal area and a reddened area near her vulva, necessitating the application of medicine and her wearing a cone until it's healed, not to mention the cost to visit the vet. We used to love this place. We have been taking our dogs here for years. We always walk in because we aren't always able to pin down an appointment time. And the sign outside says "no appointment necessary." They now have a policy that they won't take dogs within 2 hours of closing. Today I walked in at 3:57. They close at 6. I know. Really close to two hours. But if your window is 2 hours it should be 2 hours. If you close at 6 and your employees want to go home at 6, plan accordingly or stay late to handle dogs that arrive before your 2 hour window. Today I left a note for the new owner to call me. Shawn sold Doggy Daze around a year ago and it hasn't been the same since. After leaving irritated, a groomer who has been there for years and washed our dogs many times called me personally to tell me to leave this review as apparently the kids who now work the counter (Michael also left) would not give my message to the new owner. He witnessed my experience and said negative Yelp reviews are the only shot at getting this place to operate the way it did before Shawn sold. The owner apparently is rarely on site. You can't just buy a business and expect it to operate the way it did on its own without putting in the care that the previous owner put in. Of note, when we used to go to Doggy Daze, we and our pets were greeted by name with enthusiasm and genuine excitement to see our dogs. The new staff were not rude, but not sympathetic to the fact that I had driven our dogs over and entered outside the two hour window. When an employee calls you personally to express his disappointment at the downturn of the business, you know trouble is looming. Sad. read more

I struggle with finding places that can or are willing to groom my dog because he tends to be vocal and nippy. I messaged Doggy Daze via yelp and they responded very quickly. They said they would take him in and do the best they can which made me really happy because other places would typically turn him down. Upon arriving, everyone was SO friendly! I felt at ease leaving Cameron, I could tell he felt comfortable around them. After about 45 mins or so he was ready to be picked up. He was soooo soft and smelled amazing! I am beyond satisfied with their services. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for their pup to get groomed! read more

We love Doggy Daze! This is the second time I have brought my Great Dane, Aspen in. They have been amazing with her. She's quite a big baby, as most Danes are and they made her feel welcome and comfortable. I had them Dremel her nails and they did a wonderful job, both times! They filed down to the quick and shaped them nicely. They have fairly reasonable costs as well. $15 for a dremel, $10 for a clip. Saves me a hassle with my toddler "helping" file the dogs nails and we always grab an extra treat on the way out. Today it was a bully stick. They have a huge variety of high quality dog food, treats, chews, collars, leashes, etc. Best of all their staff is always friendly, greets us at the door and is ready to handle the task. Customer service to start with was surprisingly not great. For my first time there I definitely didn't feel welcomed and felt more like a nuisance just from walking in. I showed them spots on my dog where he had cuts (he got bitten by another dog a few days earlier) and when I picked him up they asked if I was aware of the cuts and said the groomer found them and I said "yes, i told you when I dropped him off about the cuts and to just be gentle there" so that was aggravating. Worst of all my golden retriever came out looking like a lab, they cut his hair so short, I asked for them to just trim up the hair around his butt and tail because it was so long but didn't think theyd shave him. His ears were the most embarrassing, it really looked like a hack job like a child took scissors to his ears. Then I noticed when we got home all of his whiskers were cut... I am so upset by that and wish they would've told me or asked not just cut my dogs whiskers, they're so short now and look ridiculous and it's not even good for them to have their whiskers cut. I am beyond disappointed in the grooming for my golden retriever. I didn't pay all that money for him to come out looking the way he did. read more
