This establishment should be ashamed at how they do business. Horrible owners. Do the right thing. Pay this man back as you said you'd pay for the bill as the animals were under your care. Don't take your animals to this place. If they do an they dogs get into a dog fight they won't pay for your pets medical even though they said they will reimburse you. Such liars.

Wish I didn't love this place so much cuz I don't live in the area anymore- and I can't find places this good anywhere! First off, they have never once nicked my pup and other places almost always do... The prices are reasonable but not cheap and they actually follow requests. Bonus points for being cage free

We've been taking our little one here for a couple of years now. It was a rocky start, and then we finally had him paired with a fabulous groomer that understood the type of haircut our little yorkie needed and eventually his anxiety about going subsided. This groomer worked with our pup for almost a year and we never had a single issue. Without notice, we picked our pup up from his recurring appointment and the haircut was so awful (the didn't trim the face at all and completely disregarded the sanitary cut). We called and they offered for us to bring him back to have it fixed. We did (which was a good faith offer), but it was super inconvenient and only caused more anxiety for our little guy. Fast forward, the next couple of visits were just off. The sanitary cut was hit / miss if it was getting done in full, and the face wasn't getting trimmed at all. We've stuck around after these visits to have the groomer fix the issues on the spot, again increasing the anxiety of our pup. Come to find out, our groomer was no longer employed and unfortunately we weren't notified. After having a long conversation with the new groomer, we (thought) we had an understanding of what we wanted done when we bring our little guy in. So, we requested this same groomer for our next visit. That brings us to our visit this past week... needless to say, our little guy was shaking when we dropped him off (which already had me worried). After picking him up, and doing a quick check, it appeared the sanitary cut got done; however, the face / ear area was not trimmed as much as we have asked for numerous times and instead, the haircut is so incredibly uneven. I even gave it a few hours thinking I was seeing it wrong. I wasn't. It was one of the worst cuts we've had to date. It took me the last few visits to contemplate leaving a public review. But after consistently poor experiences it's brought me here. Before I did post this I reached out to Doggy Daze directly in an attempt to rectify this privately. However, after several days we never heard back. After too many unfortunate mishaps, snd not hearing back from the owners / management, and constant bad haircuts, lack of attention and redos, it's brought me here unfortunately. After being a loyal customer for a couple of years now, we will be shopping for a new groomer. UPDATE: It took over a week but finally got a response from the manager. A refund for the service was provided. We'll still be on the search for a new groomer. So unfortunate this little local hidden gem went down hill like it did.

Jessica is a wonderful stylist. My Pomeranian was shaved by her previous groomer leaving her with lots of uneven patches and Jessica was able to help get her back into shape!

This is our favorite place to bring our pups to. They use quality products that never irritate my dogs skin. They're also available for drop off no appointment needed for wash. Haircuts require appointments.

We moved from Vegas where our fur baby had his set groomer so I was worried to bring him to a new one. I was happily surprised Kuma fit in here and looked adorable and clean . UPDATE for latest visit; our Kuma came out crying, still had eye gunk on his eyes, his nails looked like they were cut in a hurry with nail pieces hanging off, that I had to buff, his hair was flying all over as if they just trimmed it and let it all off itself, vacuumed that up, and his face was not cut properly as he still had fur above his eyes I gad to cut myself. It appeared they were very busy and in a rush. I'm not sure if I will be back here again . You can see the difference between the two visits in the pictures. He was not happy this time, either was I , why am I paying for grooming when I'm having to fix it , very disappointed

My chihuahua Buster is a big cry baby when it's time to get his nails done. I called this place who told me I could walk in, no appointment (SWEET!!) I show up and they immediately take him to the back, I could hear Buster yelping from the front door, but they had him taken care of in like 5 minutes and he was wagging his tail ready to go. What a relief, much easier then me trying to hold him as he tries to get away and trying not to hurt him. For $10 he was good to go. Super friendly staff, lots of dogs in the house. Highly recommend, this will definitely be my go to. Located in the Bashas strip mall, next to Subway.

Make sure you check they are cutting your dogs nails and cleaning their ears which is included in the price of a wash. They never clip my dogs nails or clean their ears. At this point i feel like these guys owe me money since I pay for a service that my dogs don't receive. Probably won't be back after coming for a few years. Looking for a new groomer. I have 3 dogs, with tip it's a $200 visit for me so my expectations are provide the service you are selling without having me to micromanage you. It's not difficult. read more

Two for two on dog drop offs for grooming over the past week! They responded very quickly via Yelp app to let us know the process and when to come in. They did an AMAZING job with our disabled long haired dachshund. His hair is beautiful after being in for his bath and blow out! Such a great job that we went back with our senior dog today and they did another great job. Easy drop off, efficient turn around. Will go back! read more

What an amazing local business! What I appreciate the most from Sean and his team is how detail orientated they are and how they treat you like family. We have a mini Aussie and labradoodle and the Doggie Daze team will provide suggestions on how to keep our boys looking clean. I've sent 5+ friends here and everyone has been extremely satisfied. My only callout will be to plan ahead if you need a haircut/groom for your dog because they are usually booked out a few weeks (tells you what a great business this is). read more

Easily the worst dog groomers location as far as customer service goes. They make up late fees and documentation of warnings without providing any actual evidence. The front desk lady is extremely rude and should not be working in customer service. On top of that the manager can't even look you in the eyes when explaining made up policies and fees. If you want to make sure your dog is being taken care of, stay as far away from this place as you can! read more

I love Doggy Daze!! I came here for grooming for my 2 pups, and was beyond happy with my experience. To start, everyone is incredibly friendly, so service with a smile is a guarantee. Also, I was able to say exactly how I wanted the dogs cut, and that is how they came out. They both looked incredible, and you can tell they felt fancy ;) Even better is that their total grooming appointment truly didn't take all that long, so they were back at in, cut, home and happy before you knew it. They also sell all sort of dog goodies, so if you need food, treats, toys, etc, they have you covered! I definitely recommend checking them out! read more

Doggy Daze is amazing they go all the way out to make sure you are a happy customer. They care what they do, which I am super impressed with their service they deserve to get 10+ my pet looked so adorable it is hard to believe. He got a special day spa, super cute haircut, nails cut and grind and ears clean and they pull extra hair from his ears. He look so handsome! Thank for your service. With the change in ownership is there a change in service? I have been taking my dog to Doggy Daze for grooming for years. Never had an issue. Loved and recommended them without hesitation. I have resisted posting anything but I am still devastated over the hack job they performed on my Golden Doodle. When I called they said she had some matting. I acknowledge there were a few but not enough to shave my dog to the skin. She came home and wouldn't leave her crate for two days. I called them and they offered to note my account to not shave her close in the future. What???? read more

The best dog salon in town! Let's start by letting you know that I have been taking our 11 year old chihuahua and our pitbull that is a year and two months old to Doggy Daze for over a year, and the service we receive is fenomenal! They know our dogs by name and they remember little thing like dental cleaning (they keep their toothbrushes there), what they like, previews conversations, etc. They are also huge at giving back to the community, from fundraising to help animals in need - helping their clients. They are very knowledgeable, they provide information and advice on food/toys/leashes etc. Great sales (all the time). You should give them a chance, you are not going to regret it! I have taken my fluffyGolden Doodle here a few times for a bath & brush, and it's usually fine except her nails are always scratchy-sharp even when I pay extra for the rotary file. This time I took her for a full groom and asked them to leave 1" of fur on her body and a round. teddy bear head. Just wanted them to neaten up. The employee confirmed that at the intake as well as pickup. But they SHAVED her. I went home and cried. Her beautiful fluffy fur is gone. Four employees were there when I picked her up and they all just stared at blankly and did not care. "I can't glue her fur back on" one of them said, but I think perhaps they are making fur extensions for a chihuahua. So, no, I don't recommended this place. read more

I've taken my pup to doggy daze a few times for a standard nail trim and wash and am so happy to have found this spot! My anxious dog has always hated going to get groomed at petsmart and would be shaking, head down when I picked her up from there. There is a stark difference in my dogs attitude when I pick her up from doggy daze. She's always all smiles and wags after her groom here and it makes me so happy to see. We love this place. We have been coming here for a long time. More so because of how nice everyone is there more than anything else. They have a lot to offer but I think that when you hand your dog over to someone else you want to make sure that they are kind and love dogs and at this particular location we are certain of that:-) Nothing seems to be stranger more than they can handle. It was my first time going here and the staff was friendly but they were so disorganized. My appointment was canceled, no big deal things happen and I happily rescheduled. I dropped my dog off and they called and said there was a mix up and thought I was a walk in and asked if I wanted my dog groomed which is what I came in for? Made me feel like that place is pretty chaotic and I don't think this is the place for me. All things aside, my pet looked good so I am thankful for that read more

We have been taking Hank to this place since we moved to the area in May. We have him bathed, nails clipped, and glands checked. They always do a great job and I love that you don't need an appointment. You can tell they love working with animals and are very good to them. Today I stopped in to get Hank's anal glands checked and they serviced him right away free of charge! Thank you, Trevor! I wouldn't take my dog anywhere else. read more

4 stars- I have one dog that I can bring in for a drop off, non hair cut wash and she is always perfect. It's quick, efficient, and they deshed her! I have a second dog that I need to schedule Appointments with for a hair cut. The first time they were good, not the best he's ever had and not exactly what I asked for but it was our first time there and figured the second time would be better. The second time I asked them to cut the body shorter and leave his chest, skirt and leg hair long. Instead they did the absolute opposite. There was absolutely nothing trimmed from his body and his head was still very hairy. He's washed and cleaned, so there's a plus. After chatting with the front desk he told me he did tell them my clear instructions but the groomer was full for the rest of the day and they could try to fit me in tomorrow around 10... Hoping he comes back with the body clipped and I am not charged! Otherwise this place is great and centrally located. Just not the best with haircut instructions. UPDATE: I came back the next day and they did absolutely perfect. Love a company that stays true to their word and they were kind enough to give me a discount for my next cut. They deserve the 5 stars definitely. read more

Wow!! We got our pup Tulip a month ago and have already taken her here multiple times. Everyone is so friendly and welcoming when you walk in! The groomers love on your pets like they were their own. They provide a thorough cleaning and grooming including ears and nails! She always leaves smelling so good. Additionally, they stock all kinds of high quality pet products including rawhide alternative bones which Tulip LOVES! We feel completely comfortable leaving our sweet girl in their care. read more

I could not say enough great things about this place! I am so glad I discovered it before they got really popular. I have been bringing my pup here since 2018 and all I have to say is, he LOVES it! They are quick with my pup's grooming and he always comes home to me in a good mood. There were other groomers that I took him to when there wasn't availability here and he would wait in a small cage that would make my pup very anxious and sad considering he is a rescue. At doggy daze, they keep him in an open space with other pups while he waits for my return. I am glad they have gotten more business but a little jealous that I can't get a same day appointment anymore. I will continue bringing all my pups here and any more I adopt in the future. What a wonderful place!!! From the moment my dog and I walked in, we got really great vibes. All of the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I was able to walk right in and get my pup bathed, nails trimmed, and expressed (if you know what I mean )!! Not only is this a groomer, but you can also pick up a variety of your pet supplies. We got a super cool collar for our nice, clean pup. Highly recommend and looking forward to our next visit!! read more

Went here cause my normal groomer was effected by COVID and got our puppy back with two abrasions that are bothering her so that she doesn't even want to do her walks. Never got an apology when it happened, we had to find out by her being bothered and licking and super uncomfortable. read more

I can't say enough good things about this place! I was hesitant to bring my Golden doodle to another groomer after him getting an awful haircut at a previous groomer and him just finally getting his hair back, but as doodle owners know they matte easily when going swimming all summer! So it was time for me to find a new groomer and get him cut and I'm so happy I chose Doggy Daze. From the second I walked in everyone was so nice and actually talked to me about what kind of cut I wanted and what they could do for my pup! They are so good with dogs and removed all of his mattes and still gave him an amazing haircut! If you need a groomer go here!! read more

Doggy Daze is a unique, urban, upscale dog-salon, and retail store in the heart of midtown Phoenix, managed and run by long term employees who simply love working with dogs of all shapes and sizes. So what is unique about Doggy Daze from other grooming facilities? Most groomers have an "up-charge" for nail clipping, ear cleaning, sanitary cuts and glands, but at Doggy Daze every client will get the royal treatment included in their grooming without the up-charge. Every dog will be bathed in a hypoallergenic shampoo and rinsed in a hypoallergenic conditioner to ensure a soft coat and hydrated skin. Each dog will be towel dried to dampness and then hand-blown dried. After the grooming process, each dog will then be placed in a designated area called "Play Daze". The "Play Daze" area is simply a supervised holding area for the dog to socialize and play. Doggy Daze is KENNEL FREE

I mentioned my concern with cutting my dogs warts and they recommended we work with Margaret. Margaret was great and managed to give our dog a short cut without cutting his warts. Really appreciate them. I'm giving 4 stars bc it is a bit pricey, the generator outside the house is quite loud, and the groomer was 30 minutes late.

My dogs love coming to Doggy Daze! The staff are friendly and show love to all the dogs as they come in. Once we started coming here a few years ago we stopped using any other place. In other places we would go my shitzu's hair cut would end up not looking right. Here she always comes out looking super cute and smelling good. If you want to get a consistent cut this is definitely the place. We love the service and they are always fast and give you a text when your dog is ready. It's super convenient and easy to set up a recurring appointment as well to stay on top of it which I totally recommend. read more

Great place. They have a special way with the pups. My guy is always happy to go there, and comes back clean with nails clipped, all happy and perky. Wow! Can I just say my Buddy has never been treated better and neither have I. I was late, late, late! They accommodated us anyway. Don't be late though because Doggy Daze doesn't deserve it. As a former employee cause I move but all my friends that have four legged fur babies I direct them to doggy daze cause I know they will leave happy with the work that is done.
