A hidden local biz that in my opinion is hands-down one of the best pet grooming services that I've been to. You will be greeted by Nick, such a kind soul of a man who obviously loves animals. Over the past year I have had several different techs along with the owner work on my Cooper and Baxter (English Springers). Every person has been kind and thorough on the services provided. Cooper is an older dog and has arthritis in his legs, and it's reassuring that when I take him, he is not stressed. This is a humble, local business that is a true gem and encourage you to try them. (Yelp get 5 stars, again, too) I'm new here. This place came up as the number one rated groomers, and it was 5 minutes from me. They were very nice and friendly on the phone, got us in within a couple days, and did a great job on my doggo for a reasonable price. The groomer sat down and talked with me, while holding my dog. And once she got me calmed down enough... (thanks for laughing with me, gentle reader... oh you're laughing at? Ok, can't blame you.) She listened to my concerns and requests and did exactly as I asked. Champy was ready within a few hours, and he was happy, and looking and smelling great! read more

I would always rate this business a 5 out of 5. This is the most professionally run business with exceptional groomers who truly understand and care about your animals. Every time I walk in, I'm blown away by the incredible positive energy that fills this place. I have a very temperamental chihuahua and the only place she will trust someone is at Shedding Clean. This person has worked with her for some time and I won't go anywhere else. I highly recommend this business. They're fire! read more

I really hate leaving bad reviews, but this is a serious problem. People get pretty upset when you hurt their dogs. This is the worst groomer! I bring Layla and Roscoe in every 3 weeks and Eric has been grooming them for about 10 years. They groom my entire families dogs. That said, my little Layla is super sick. She went to vet, they said her anal glands had not been expressed in at least 8 months. In addition she has a severe ear infection in both ears from cross contamination. My vet bill was $100, and I should be reimbursed. Ever since you've decided to sell this business, everything is awful. I left you messages and you didn't even have the courtesy to call me. Typical AZ companies, lazy and do not care about retaining long term customers. read more

I love this place they take such good care of my dog. She's a corgi so she's not getting much done except for bath brush and shave her bottom, but they paint her nails and give her a little bling. It's so cute I highly recommend them. read more

10/10! Fantastic experience! Missy and the rest of the staff were WONDERFUL with my 11 year old dramatic kitty. She needed to be shaved and bathed, $75 (not including tip) and it was worth every penny. They got everything done for her in 90min. My cat is so happy and feels so good, we'll definitely be back! Great staff, excellent service and prices. A huge shout out to Nick and the entire team!

I took my chihuahua here for the first time to get all the works and the staff did an amazing job! Even from the first phone call with them they were so friendly and wanting to make a time work. When I got there, they were loving and talking to other peoples dogs when the owners weren't there as if they were their own (taking pictures, telling them how good of a boy/girl they were) so I knew Chimi would be in good hands. After telling me to come back in a couple hours for my dog, they could sense I was very nervous and uncomfortable with that wait time. I didn't even have to ask before one of the groomers assured me she would get him done as soon as possible, which ended up being only like 30 minutes. He looked/smelled great and I will be returning!! Thank you to all the staff involved. :) read more

At first, I was a little hesitant to take my dog here because the area seemed a little sketchy. However, I am impressed with the service and the groom my dog received. My dog would come back scooting for days from the last groomer I went to so I expressed my concerns to the employee here. I wanted him to take great consideration on the way they shave around the bum area because I didn't want her to scoot. Four days later since her groom, no scooting and my dog seemed a lot happier than the last few times coming back from the last groomer. I'm a big fan and will definitely be back! read more

Oh my gosh!!!!! My three dogs are so fabulously cute, I can't stand it!!! We've been taking our dogs there for about a year now. I'm a hairdresser who is very particular of how "stylish" my dogs are groomed! All of the groomers at Shedding Clean listen to my ideas and implement them flawlessly!! Our Cocker Spaniel doesn't have eyes, and they take special care to make her feel relaxed and safe while being groomed. That's a huge plus for us. The staff treats your animals like they are their own!! The prices for services are very affordable! You won't be disappointed! Give them a try!! read more

I have been taking my dog here for quite some time as you can see from my initial review. It saddens me because I initially loved this place. Unfortunately, the past few times I have taken Finn to be groomed the customer service has been lacking with snarky comments and lack of friendliness. I tried to let it go, but this last time is now the last time I will return. Finn somehow got an irritation on his butt and a couple of swollen bumps on his genitalia. He's my baby and I won't put up with that. read more

I brought my Yorkie here today. I'm super happy she looks great and feels amazing :) ! I'm definitely taking her back here. Thanks a lot Shedding Clean. / I had to update my review, this is a local business (human size) that I feel comfortable bringing Maddie at. The second picture is the most recent time I brought her in and I am so grateful I found this place online. If you get anxiety from leaving your pet, this place is the place you should bring them at. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my baby at the groomers. read more

Peter and Eric are wonderful! I've been taking my Bouvier to Peter for 5 years now, and today my new Schnauzer puppy visited Eric for her first haircut (which turned out adorably, as expected). I trust these guys not only to do an excellent job, but also to take care of my most precious family members, Petunia and Emma. At today's visit Peter gave me a hand written Christmas card with a thank you for supporting their business. So sweet, and I should mention that in spite of the 30 minute drive (one-way!) there is no where else we'd even dream of going! Thank you Peter and Eric! We love you guys. read more

I have a 60 lb Australian Shepherd/Lab mix who has no patience for baths! He's been here 3 times & his tail is wagging every time he walks in. They always do a great job grooming him. He's got longer hair & his tail is a fluffy plume. They are wonderful at trimming things down yet still keeping him looking fluffy. The staff are friendly & they seem to genuinely care about furbabies. Add to that competitive pricing & you can't go wrong. read more

Super efficient and professional! Only took a little over an hour for my shitzu to get the works (bath, cut, nails). Usually groomers take 3-4 hours and holds your day hostage. They had availability within a couple days which was convenient. They did an overall great job! They went beyond my expectations! My dog looks soo cute normally groomers make him look super beady eyed and not like my dog for a couple days. They give new customers a discount which was nice but even without it it's a good price! read more

My dog Lance was groomed here and the guys here did a fabulous job! The location is kind of hard to find and maneuver to with the light rail and construction going on, but it's worth it! I dropped off Lance and he was ready in a little over an hour or so. Lance looked like a different dog! So happy to have found a great groomers which isn't too far from my house. Very clean, great service, and two personable guys manning this business! I would recommend their services to anyone looking for a great dog groomer. I'm pleased with his new do and will come back when the time comes. They accept credit cards and also it's advised to make an appointment. read more

My Maltese, Ace, LOVED the two guys. Of course, he was a bit nervous at first. But by the end, he was happily running back and forth between me and the groomer. Unfortunately my dog has been battling a skin infection after coming to this groomer for the last couple of weeks and hasn't been responding to the antibiotics. He has never had a reaction like this before from any shampoo or foods so unfortunately the vet thinks it was caused by the shampoo used at this groomer. I appreciated the kind service, but I'm concerned about their hygiene and the fact that they don't require medical records to show dogs have been vaccinated. read more

I took my two small dogs to Shedding clean. They are small and the white and black one is very hyper so it's hard to get an even cut with her. The two precious groomers I used were expensive and gave me my pups back with uneven hair cuts. I will definitely be going back. Thank you Shedding Clean! read more

I brought my long haired dachshund, Gilly, in to be groomed and was very impressed! The shop is clean and organized and has a very calm atmosphere, which is a big change from some of the other grooming places I have been into. Gilly was happy to see Peter and Eric, and I was very impressed with how well Peter handled Gilly while she was being needy during the grooming process. Even the other dogs in the shop seemed to be calm, which I know is a big credit to how wonderful Peter and Eric treat all dogs that come through there door. I highly recommend them to everyone. read more

Very friendly and clean. My dog seemed just as happy as usual when I picked him. Cost was inexpensive for all they do (wash/brush/blow dry/nail trim was $25). Next time I'll ask about hypoallergenic shampoo though and my dog did break out in hives a few days later but they went away within a couple weeks. He is an American Bulldog/Pitt mix so just sensitive skin. I'll be back. read more
