    Everyone thinks they have the best dog. They aren't wrong. Mine are pretty awesome, I mean have you seen their picture? The kiddos get pretty spoiled at Puff'n'Fluff and with a Yelp check in, snag a bag of treats. I love that they are locally owned and they've been a regular grooming boutique of choice. Located in a strip mall in Uptown near pretty much the hot spots (Richardson's, Luci's, Starbucks, and even Swizzle Inn), you have plenty of choices of where to wait. Peyton, a Border Collie, and Chance, a Labrador, love getting pampered here. Who wouldn't with a blueberry facial and massage? These are true dog lovers and it shows in the care of your fur babies. Wonderful customer service, reasonable prices and pretty accommodating in scheduling. Dogs ask for so little but deserve so much, bring them here!

    I'm extremely disappointed about my pups first ever grooming experience here (and it will actually be the last time we ever come here). My pup is only 6 months old and we were excited for him to see a local groomer for his first time. I scheduled him for a large groom which is said to include "Shampoo and Blueberry Facial, massage, blow dry, nails, glands, ear cleaning and plucking, paw pads shaved, sanitary trim, and a full haircut" other than the wash and haircut on his actual body, I'm convinced that nothing else was even done. Upon picking him up I was told that he hated the blow dryer and that he was still a little damp... odd but okay, what am I going to say to that? Most dogs hate blow dryers. Whatever, I can get passed that. He comes out super excited and looking fluffy and trimmed. I was happy, so we went home. This is where I started noticing that I spent almost $100 for a bath and trim that I could have done myself. Firstly, his ears weren't trimmed AT ALL like we specifically asked. I ended up trimming them myself because his untrimmed ears didn't match the rest of his body. Secondly, his nails were also not trimmed in the slightest. Thirdly, and most importantly, I realized when we got home that my baby's left eye was (still is) red and irritated to no end and discharging like CRAZY. When I called and asked if something happened, I was told "he could have gotten shampoo in his eye, try washing it out and if he needs to go to the vet please let us know." So helpful. I don't think we were asking for the world with our pups grooming needs. He's part chow (aka, incredibly fluffy) so his hair overgrows super fast. It's safe to say we won't be coming back here. I read on the website that they fix grooms if requested but I am so beyond irritated with our experience that I never want to go back here again and waste more of my time with a company who doesn't pay attention to detail or listens to the customers wants and needs.

    Owner said I would receive a full refund. A few weeks later and I have not received it. Currently disputing charge. Wouldn't be going through this if their groomer didn't butcher my dog

    First and foremost, I picked up my poodle with clumps of poop still in his fur by his butt. It's obviously it's the same stuff that was there before because it's really dry. Also I have now had two dogs groomed and each time they are given back to me with a bunch of fur from another dog. When I called the only solution was to bring him back. Nah, I'm good. I asked about the fur being all over my dogs, and she told me it is from the kennels. I asked if they are put in dirty kennels, she said "they try and clean it each time". That was either handled very incorrectly as per their policy or my dogs go to a groomer to be placed in "hopefully clean kennels" It's not fair that I pay to have them cleaned and they are returned dirty.

    Our dogs have been here twice now and we are pretty happy with how they look, and feel good about leaving our precious, priceless angels with the team at Puff & Fluff Uptown. For 2 small dogs to get fully groomed, and the tip, we get out of here for a bit over $100. Not sure if that's super pricey for Phoenix, or what, but, coming from the Bay Area, we feel like it's a steal. We paid about $100 for one dog up in Northern CA. Anyway, I love how easy it is to make an appointment, and I love that they'll fix up something I don't like - I'm sooo finicky about my yorkie's bangs, and I've had my wife go back in to ask them to cut some more off, and they do, so that's great. That little bit of extra care and work goes a long way in my book.

    Unfortunately I have to update my review to one star. I've been taking my 6 year old golden retriever to this location for about two years. Come to find out after taking him home (and hearing him licking for hours) he was cut pretty badly on his foot. I understand groomers may slip or there may be a difficult dog, but I would have really liked to have at least been informed.... Quite a shame because I drive 45 minutes to this Puff and Fluff location given past experiences, but I'll definitely be finding a new groomer. I guess the bribe/incentive for 20% off services (for a 5 star review) is the real reason this groomer has been so successful on yelp.

    I never write reviews like this but this establishment will not call me back about cutting my dog. As a loyal customer for about 2 years, we were shocked when the groomer cut our dogs paw and handled the situation horribly. I understand mistakes happen, but when entering the salon to pick up, the groomer charged us and allowed for the potential for us to tip and did not mention she had cut our dog until after the payment was processed. My husband said he had a weird feeling when entering the groomers to pick up because there wasn't anyone there except the woman who groomed our dog, and she didn't have our dog on her lap like she normally does- he said that our dog was in the back all alone (as no other dogs were there) which he felt weirded out by. It's a good thing he sensed this strange energy because it turns out our dog was left in a kennel with a fresh wound (not dressed by the way, have no way of knowing if it was cleaned) while the woman was in the front charging him for the grooming. Upon getting the dog from the crate in the back room she mentioned our dog got a "nick" on her foot and suggested to to keep our dog off of the paw for the rest of the day. She also said she just wasn't paying attention when the cut happened and that it wasn't our dogs fault which was such a strange mention. She did not explain whether or not they cleaned it, and she left our wounded dog alone in the crate (our dog was likely licking her paw due to the wound which can cause infection). When we looked at her paw it didn't look like "nick" at all it looked like she had been cut in two spots on her paw (photo is attached). Assuming it had stoped bleeding per the groomers mention, when we got home we went to wrap it to keep it sanitized but before we could even begin to gather the items needed we noticed blood marks on our bed, as our dog was STILL bleeding. We called the groomer multiple times but didn't get a call back. Then, we text the number that informed us to pick up our dog- no text back (this was Saturday immediately after picking her up). By Monday we received a call saying they got our message but that we wouldn't hear from the manager because she's on vacation. The person on the phone call noted that our dogs paw was glued to stop bleeding which was not mentioned to us at all! Update- it's Tuesday and still no call from the groomers. I called again but was told this time that the manager would call right away. Still no call. We're getting horrible communication from every angle. FYI our dogs paw still has some new blood on the dressing we put on her (and we clean and change it a few times a day). I understand mistakes happen, but all of this- from the groomer who cut our dog, charged us and left our dog alone in a kennel with her wound before telling us only part of what happened to the manager who hasn't gotten back, has been handled horribly. I'm so sad for my dog and because we have recommended this place to everyone who needs a groomer- not anymore. What kind of establishment communicates in this way? I'm leaving this review because no one has gotten back to me so maybe I can prevent some people from experiencing the same thing. *Update- the owner called today, expressing her upset and went over a variety of protocol she has in place that were completely disregarded by staff on the day our dog was cut. The owner was considerate and did make us feel heard when she shared the same frustration in staff neglect of the issue as we did. She offered to pay for vet visits as needed and an immediate refund of the service we paid for. Though we're grateful for this, unfortunately we wish to have been communicated about this when it happened so that appointments could be organized etc. Her gestures have been kind, but we will still go elsewhere for our dog to get groomed.

    What a difference 24 hours can make! Our handsome Tiberius got the works yesterday. We just rescued him over the weekend and the poor boy's fur was so matted and in desperate need of some TLC. Liz and her crew lovingly spent almost 3.5 hours on Ty and tbh, I nearly cried when they brought him out to me! He's so majestic and the definition of a fluffy malamute now! We did a full grooming, including a tick bath and extra dematting, and the price was insanely reasonable. I would have paid even more due to the care and attention they gave him.

    I love this little place! Tucked behind the Starbucks is this cute little salon. I scheduled three dogs here, two large (50lb) high energy dogs and my sweet senior pug. The big dogs just had a nail trim and did great with it. It was their first time and they were patient with us! My pug was fully groomed and trimmed, to cut down on the flying hair a little in my house. She looks fabulous and they took time to get her all clean and trimmed neatly! Wonderful place and will definitely make the drive to see them again!! Edit: forgot to mention their super easy online scheduler and reasonable prices!!

We had Joe and he came over and understood that my dog could be nervous with the machines and he did an awesome job. We did the deshedding treatment and the entire service was around 2 hours long. The last time we went to the generic places they cut one of his warts and we were so worried to take him anywhere else. After some research we found this place and decided to give it a go. I appreciate that they come to your home and only take care of your dog at the session. This provides a quicker experience with less distractions and more assurance that the groomer's full attention is on your dog. If you have any special concerns/requests for your dog, I recommend calling them and asking for a groomer that has more experience with your concerns. I mentioned my concern with cutting my dogs warts and they recommended we work with Margaret. Margaret was great and managed to give our dog a short cut without cutting his warts. Really appreciate them. I'm giving 4 stars bc it is a bit pricey, the generator outside the house is quite loud, and the groomer was 30 minutes late.

While we were working on this, Kristie also helped us with some basic command refinements with all 3 of our dogs. One of our dogs needed a little confidence boost, and she taught us how to work with him to strengthen this. Kristie is clear in her instructions to the humans and is patient with answering questions and modeling how to give commands and corrections. She built a positive relationship with our dogs and with us. We have enjoyed the experience and appreciate the changes in our dogs' behavior.

For dog sitting, in our home, we've used Michelle several times now and she is great. Our 3 dogs love her and she clearly loves them too. We have 2 Great Danes and Beagle/Boston Terrier mix who are getting up there in age. Our male Great Dane has a number of health issues and Michelle handles it all so well. There's a laundry list of medications for the dogs and she does a great job keeping up with it all. She doesn't mind when I'm that helicopter dog mom and I check too often on my sick boy. Regardless of his illness, Michelle sends many pictures and text updates on how things are going with all the dogs. As a very protective momma, I trust Michelle completely with my furbabies and home. We love having Michelle take care of our babies... so much so that when we were planning the August trip we just completed, she wasn't available on our original dates, so we moved our trip to make sure she was available. I appreciate the freedom Kristie and Michelle offer us to get away several times a year. I completely trust them. Give them a shot!
