Max likes his spa days with Jennifer. She's been grooming him for the last two years. He comes home clean, fluffy and smelling good. There is something about her calming way that makes him tolerate her gentle manipulation as she cuts and fluffs. He leaves with an attitude, knowing that he looks good and that he's going to get a lot of attention. I love the fact that it is easy to make an appointment, and my fur baby is always done when she says he will be. The communication is stellar, the shop is clean, in a good location, and everyone working there genuinely seems to love their job. read more

Doggie Doos Grooming - Waiting to get noticed - Pet Groomers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

We now have Liz as groomer and she absolutely did an amazing job all around. Great nail trimming that are nicely filed, very smooth, no sharp edges. Tail is cut cute and fluffy. We get a teddy bear cut and he always looks so adorable 2-3 weeks after groom. The body buzz is neat and not patchy. Pricing is comparable with others but they always do a good job that we travel 2 hrs out of town for their expertise. read more

Absolute incompetency at best. They shaved my maltipoos hair down to the skin all over and didn't bother to pick up the phone if there were any matting issues. The balls on this place even charging for this haircut. Everyone praises how good he is yet they tried to say he was an issue. Clearly they don't know how to handle dogs here. Proceed at your own risk. read more

Great job on my baby girl. She always looks beautiful when they are done. Very kind and gentle with her, and always professional.

I had such a great experience here. I called ahead to check if they could trim my dog's nails and they said to come in. The whole team was so sweet, patient, and professional. My dog is extremely anxious about nail trims, and they took their time and handled him with so much care. They got all of his nails done, and I left feeling genuinely relieved. I'm so happy I found this place--highly, highly recommend! read more

They never disappoint! My dog always comes back fluffy with a perfect haircut and smelling pretty! Highly recommend.

My dog is now traumatized and aggressively terrified!! Very disappointing since we were SO excited. The moment we walked in it was very weird and awkward interactions. We felt maybe we were overthinking it seeing a regular come in and they were so nice, but then there was a switch when the worker would talk to us. She was asking us questions and I tried explaining to her that our puppy is FRESH out of her vaccines (12 days after her last shots) so she's still afraid of some things, learning new things exist. But we did practice desensitizing her the moment we adopted her and she handled it fairly well, simply afraid in the beginning and just needs some love and encouragement to keep her going. I had booked this appointment through email with no problems. When we arrived she said over the phone they should have told me about how new puppies may not get their full grooming (as i had booked) because they don't want to frighten them. Though I was not initially told this information I figured I saw amazing reviews, she's the expert, didn't argue and agreed. We walked away feeling very anxious and uneasy. We got our puppy back amazingly groomed she looked perfect so we tried not to think much of it, but she was TERRIFIED she NEVER cries and it isn't our first time leaving her alone with other people before but it was the first time she seemed so scared and sad. The worker seemed like she was disappointed in us and personally we felt very talked down to like children as she tried giving us tips on how to desensitize her more. I didn't argue with her I just smiled and kept nodding, thanking her for the advice. It broke my heart of how terrified our puppy seemed and it took her a while to act herself again but at the time we decided to overlook all of it. My boyfriend typically brushes her in the morning while I'm at work, and all week he has explained to me how terrible she's been reacting to what we've normally done with her perfectly well for the last 4 months of adopting her. First time I was bathing and brushing her myself since being at Doggie Doo's she was aggressive and terrified more than the first time she was even introduced to the brush or hair dryer. She used to LOVE being brushed especially her face but she full on BIT me for the first time ever while I was brushing her. Even after our usual encouragements and treats while grooming her she was not having it. I'm not one to ever hold a grudge or even so much as to put a negative review. We knew we brought her in with long hair and nails because we realized we didn't know what we were doing at home and decided to wait till her vaccinations were done to bring her in to the experts for a proper and safe grooming. So we tried overlooking our puppy's fright since we understand it must not be an easy job and that we received her perfectly groomed. With the way my puppy reacted after her first bath with me since Doggie Doos Grooming, my heart breaks and I pray another dog never goes home feeling the way our puppy did. read more

Doggie Doo's was a reliable service for a few months, but I haven't taken my Pyrenees mix back ever since they basically shredded 1-2 warts on his inside toe pads. I returned after hair and nail trim were complete and noticed right before I left that my dog was trailing blood from his paws. Only after asking about the bloody paws did I discover that the groomer apparently shredded the warts (which we, at the time, were not even aware that he had) with a hair clipper! The poor boy has been sensitive about us touching his paws ever since and that was almost a year ago! I got the impression that they wouldn't have said a word about it if I hadn't noticed my dog was bleeding before I left. Maybe it was 1 bad groomer but it's left a bad taste in my mouth ever since and I would not recommend. I've had a wart before and imagining someone shredding it with hair clippers is horrifying read more

They did a great job with my dogs! I've recommended them to my mom as well and she'll be taking her pup to Doggie Doo's from now on! They are very busy, and they book 3 weeks out, but well worth the wait! read more

Our new puppy groomers where you can tell the groomers truly care for the welfare of your fur babies! The owner of Doggie Doos- Jennifer and Tina- one of the other groomers genuinely cared for both of our little fur babies, we have two maltipoos! Both of our littl' boys were in desperate need of a serious grooming! Bandit and Ted-E, have definitely found their new groomers that are located in the North Valley and accessible to the 101-E, 51-N & not too far from I-17 right off of Cave Creek Rd! The pricing for their grooming services were compatible for the TLC our pups got and the much needed grooming that our fur babies needed! Yes, we will be returning to Doggie-Doos....you should check them out too- especially, if you want the peace of mind of knowing your fur babies are being well cared for while out of your sight and they are groomed well! read more

What a great experience!! Jennifer; the owner, was so sweet to our pup. We have a F1B golden doodle, and she thoroughly explained how she was going to cut our dog's hair and the reason behind it. She was extremely knowledgeable! I didn't speak much to the other workers there but they seemed to be super friendly as well! Reasonable prices too. Sometimes I get overwhelmed bringing my energetic 1 year old dog to the groomers, thinking I'll get judged for how energetic Lulu is, but at Doggy Doos, they made me feel welcomed and very comfortable! We definitely will be coming back here for all of Lulu's haircuts, nail trims etc. It is a bit of a drive for us- but it's worth it. I'll recommend Doggy Doos to all our dog friends! read more

I called them first and they had enough time to squeeze me in for a nail trim. She was really gentle and quickly filed them down. I would recommend this place because I could tell she was an expert- she kept my dog calm and treated her well. There was only one other dog there, so it seems like they do one dog-at-a-time and don't just keep them in crates. Good service. read more

1st time I booked my dogs for grooming and I must say I'll never go back to petsmart! Jennifer the owner was so nice and thoughtful enough to make up for the mishap when I went back the 2nd time because the 1st time the groomer wasn't there when I showed up for the appointment at 8am. My lovely Maltese and Eskimo turned out looking pretty and smelling nice. She also was able to get the cut to look as close to the reference picture I gave her. I will definitely come back to get them groomed here next time! read more

They did a pretty good job. They took care of our high energy golden. The only reason it's not a 5 star is because it takes them a long time, they complain about his energy, and some of the people that work there don't come off as the friendliest. We have recently moved not to far and have found a new groomer and we don't get any comments or unfriendly faces. My dog also seems much happier after he visits the new groomer. read more

This was my first time getting a dog groomed and it was easy and quick. They got me in a few days after I called. I dropped off my pup, talked with them about the haircut and what I was looking for. I appreciated their advice because I know nothing about dog haircuts. He was ready in about 2 hours and I went and picked him up. His cut was great and they said he behaved and wasn't too difficult! I will definitely go back next time. read more

We are new to the area, and my Lab's nails were in dire need of a trim. I called to confirm we could simply walk in. The entire process took 6 minutes or less--easy in, easy out! The service was friendly, efficient, and they obviously enjoy working with their canine clients. read more

After posting my review the owner personally reached out to us to apologize for the dissatisfied visit we had gotten. The owner was very sweet and showed concern and wanted to fix the wrong right away. She offered a refund or to have us being him back in. With how concerned she sounded and the compassion she showed I decided to give them another chance and bring him back in the very next day after she reached out. After about an hour and a half I went to get him and his hair cut was 100x better. She explained what happened and I only hope the original person who did his hair learns and does better for ever dog. I'll be bringing my dogs here again since the owner was so sweet and did a great job fixing the hair cut read more

Had a horrible experience with Tina. I had to bring my Maltipoo in because she had gotten two mats on her neck, and I couldn't get them out myself. I told Tina if she needed, like worst case scenario, she could shave the neck, but leave the rest relatively longer. I came back to pick up my dog, and her entire body was horrible shaved. It was uneven, incredibly short and not well done. Some parts of her stomach and back didn't have any fur left. It's also freezing outside! The groomer then proceeded to tell me if my dog ever needed a better home, where she would be better taken care of, she would take her off my hands. She repeated this to me SEVERAL times. My dog had two mats, and the groomer thought I was abusing her. She told me again and again she would give her more love, attention and care than I did. She really believed I was a horrible owner, and didn't want me to leave with my puppy. My poor puppy looks horrible, and I was incredibly insulted. I love my dog like a child, and to hear a stranger say otherwise was heartbreaking. I am the owner who buys my dog matching Christmas pajamas with me, and gets her more gifts for Christmas than I do for my friends. I will not be returning to this groomer ever again. My puppy is also incredibly itchy now, and she seems very sad. I can understand a groomer doing a bad job, but not deciding my dog needs to be shaved when I never asked for it! Especially now that it's cold outside. read more

We have been using Doggie Doos Grooming for several months now and we couldn't be happier. We had a horrible grooming nightmare previously from an at home groomer who injured our dog.
