I tried one other time to have my 100 lb dog groomed (German shep + Rott) and it didn't go so well and so we were nervous about it this time. We had Joe and he came over and understood that my dog could be nervous with the machines and he did an awesome job. We did the deshedding treatment and the entire service was around 2 hours long. Joe was very friendly and the service was well with the money and my dog did awesome with him. All communication was clear and the pricing was easy to understand. When I lived in extreme South Phoenix, I was 2 miles outside of their border and I was happy to be accommodated by them then. Now that I've moved to east Mesa, they won't accommodate being out of their zone any longer. I'm willing to pay them $300 PLUS a tip just to come to bathe and shave my cat and they won't drive 2 miles down Val Vista to keep a paying customer. I don't care if it's 10 miles down Val Vista, for $300 for a cat bath, I'd sign up for that rather than turn a happy customer away. read more

We usually take our dog to petsmart or petco, but he's been getting older and has formed many warts on his body. The last time we went to the generic places they cut one of his warts and we were so worried to take him anywhere else. After some research we found this place and decided to give it a go. I appreciate that they come to your home and only take care of your dog at the session. This provides a quicker experience with less distractions and more assurance that the groomer's full attention is on your dog. If you have any special concerns/requests for your dog, I recommend calling them and asking for a groomer that has more experience with your concerns. I mentioned my concern with cutting my dogs warts and they recommended we work with Margaret. Margaret was great and managed to give our dog a short cut without cutting his warts. Really appreciate them. I'm giving 4 stars bc it is a bit pricey, the generator outside the house is quite loud, and the groomer was 30 minutes late. read more

Very disappointed. I scheduled an appointment a couple weeks ago for today Monday at 10 am August 26. I just called because it's 10:06 and no one is coming. They just reschedule me for a day I will not be home and there was no communication. Very very disappointed and unfortunate. They also did not offer a resolution as the lady stated they are booked through Sept which is fine...I don't really see waiting until Oct as a resolution and she clearly stated they only had one person in the area today. If anyone has mobile spaw referrals I'm looking. Update: I also just called to confirm that the date that they rescheduled for they lady stated 29 August (which I will be out of town) and I did look at other people reviews being charged with our service (and they canceled) so I just wanted to validate I will not be charged for a day I did NOT schedule for. So hopefully that stands to be true as I will be checking my credit card statements to make sure I am not charged for a no show no contact (text message or phone is always best) and a reschedule for a date I did not authorize. The lady mentioned she sent an email I just don't see one. If someone doesn't respond to an email it's definitely safe to assume they did not get it and attempt another means like call (which I get many don't answer these days) so text message so it's in the clients face is always best. read more

My dogs also get super nervous when there is a lot of activity around, so the fact that Vanessa come to us and my dogs are not around a bunch of other nervous dogs while they are being groomed makes it so much easier for them. They were slammed at the time, but I was able to score an appointment within a few weeks... phew! The booking process included taking down my credit card and I was automatically emailed a confirmation with the appointment details, which I appreciated. My appointment was with Ryan and I was super pleased with the experience overall. Ryan communicated with me on his timing leading up to the appointment, and made sure to talk me through his plan prior to taking Georgia into the trailer. Georgia has sensitive skin, which I noted, and Ryan took that into consideration with his grooming plan. She came back looking great, smelling great, and happy as can be. Two weeks ago, I contacted Jeremy to see if I could get my new-to-me pup on his schedule for a grooming. He explained how his business works and asked about my new dog (2 y/o golden retriever rescue). He set me up with Nicole for 4 pm today. Nicole called at 130 to say she had a cancellation and could come sooner if convenient for me. It was, and she arrived when she said she would. She met my dog at his eye level and proceeded to give him lots of reassurance and love. I wasn't sure how he'd do because, while he's a typically sweet golden, he is also willful. Nicole seemed very dog-savvy, which elevated my confidence. About 15 minutes after she took him in the trailer, Nicole called to let me know that he was super good for the toenail filing and paw trimming and wasn't bothered by the blow dryer so she thought she could do the more intensive deshedding treatment that I had asked about. The whole appointment was about two hours and my dog loved it. He was walking proudly, smelled good and looked great. I highly recommend this service. read more

And if I wanted to groom my dogs myself, I wouldn't hire a grooming service, that's common sense for most people. Our first Time around we were thrilled w/ Mobile Spaws and our groomer Alexis. When we went to book our dogs for the 2nd time they were booked a month out which we were fine with and eagerly took the next available appointment, I even took the day off work so I could accommodate. Mobile Spaws emailed several appointment reminders including one 24 hours out saying at this point that cancelling we would have to pay 50% of the grooming fee (which with 3 dogs would be at least $150-$200). Still I was fine, I get that last minute cancellations cost a business money. On the day of our 3 dogs mobile Appt Approximately 2 hours to the appt time I get a text from the groomer saying she is sick and going to have to reschedule. When I then inquire they say the soonest appt they can give me is 7 days out and again a time frame I would have to take another day off work. Keep in mind we had already been waiting a month for this appointment and I took a vacation day. I wouldn't have been upset had they been able to accommodate us in the next couple of days but this was ridiculous. When I inquired to the scheduler as to why I would have to pay a $170 cancellation fee if I cancelled today and they could bump us back a week no problem and no cost incurred to them she sarcastically asked "would you prefer I send the groomer with a fever" and got right on the defensive. Very poor customer service. We have since gone with PAWGO Grooming who has great availability and much better customer service. My dog was a rescue and I tried to take him to 2 different groomers and neither would take him because he was so anxious and would snap at them out of fear. Stephen was patient and gained his trust.
