ATTENTION AUSSIE OWNERS: Shadow doesn't miss (he's also the sweetest)! Winnie has that very typical, thick Aussie floof and specific outline that's meant to be maintained. She also has a very Type-A Mom who couldn't bear another groomer hacking into her coat or shaping her as if she were a doodle . After several bad haircuts, I searched through dozens of reviews and photos and finally booked with Silky Pet Spa after seeing multiple photos of double-coated breeds. Best. Decision. Ever. Shadow truly nails it every time. Winnie always comes back looking perfectly groomed, her natural shape intact, and smelling amazing. So grateful we finally found him!!

Silky Pet Spa did an incredible job when we took our little Izzy girl there! The staff was incredibly responsive and promptly got us in for our appointment. We highly recommend them! They did such a great job that we ended up scheduling our next appointment with them. They're great for grooming, It's well worth the drive! Izzy never felt softer, and she looks absolutely adorable with her new cut and little bows.

I have been taking my cats to Silky Pet Spa since it first opened and recommend them to everyone I know who wants/needs to get their cat groomed (or dog, too)! Not only do they do a great job grooming cats, which is not easy, they're consistently good. In the years I've been going my cats have never had a bad haircut or negative experience. The owner is very pleasant and has done a great job running his business and continues to provide more and more services as it grows. I can tell he genuinely cares so much about animals and I feel safe leaving them there knowing they are in good hands. The grooming appointments do take longer than other places I've been to, but I see this as a good thing! The attention to detail and care is beyond anyplace else I've been and it's 1000% worth the extra time it takes to provide that. You won't be disappointed!

I called Silky Pet Spa to schedule a nail cut for my pup. Shadow was very friendly and expressed that they take walk-ins for this service. We pulled up around 10:30am and Bailey was finished in about 10mins. They did a great job with cutting her nails. The ends were not rough or jagged. Nail cuts are $20, but included if you purchase other services. There's plenty of parking out front, and this is great option for some puppy spa treatments!

They did a great job of giving my long-haired cat Chanel a haircut!! I definitely will be back!!

I've taken my husky here twice now at Silky Pet Spa and we are always greeted warmly! The service is phenomenal and my husky is left feeling silky soft and happy!

WORTH THE DRIVE: went here purely off the yelp reviews alone, they were able to get me in with a couple of days - no months long wait - and weren't phased by my westie's long and grungy demeanor. I was recommended here by a neighbor and I'm so grateful I finally took my dog to this team! I can tell they love my dog just as much as they love their own, which makes me feel so secure knowing my baby is in good hands! I find their pricing extremely reasonable, with lots of options to upgrade. Also, their timing on completing my dog (small/medium breed) only takes less than 3 hours. Anytime I've taken my dog to a petco type groomer they hold him for over 4 hours, which I find crazy especially if I've made an appointment. Keep up the great work team! read more

Silky Pet EXCEEDED every expectation I had! I had contacted Silky Pet after my goldendoodle puppy come home from a nightmare of a grooming appoint at another salon where she came back shaved against my wishes. Not only was she shaved, but her coat length, ears, tail, and face were super choppy. I was devastated. I had never been to Silky Per before, but I felt comfortable bringing my pup here. From the initial communication, exploring their website, drop off, to the constant communication while my pup was at the salon. They made a horrible situation 1000x better (honestly I was not sure this was possible). I could tell my pup came home happier and as doodle owner I am stoked to find a groomer that I can trust to care for my pup and her coat health. The first time I went was at 5:30, thinking I had until 7 pm to get the DIY wash done. I was told the store closed at 7 pm, BUT the DIY dog wash closed at 6 pm, so I only had half an hour. I knew that wasn't going to be enough time, so we left and came back the next day, much earlier. The staff was empathetic and very nice both times. The wash went well, and the staff was super-helpful, equipped with towels, a choice of shampoo (or bring your own if you like), and clearly articulated instructions. The water was hot to the touch. I was told a new water heater was to blame, but if I waited a minute or two, the water would cool off and become warm, which it did. My pup was not pleased at all with the "blow-dry" setup. It is a loud shop vac with hoses extending through the drying bays. We politely aborted that part of the process. It was actually okay, since we had enough towels to get her 90% dry. I was happy with the outcome.

She's been eating the same premium black bag brand since she was about 9 months old (she's 3 now), so I'm guessing she just got bored of it. I decided to switch flavors within the same brand, but unfortunately, she just doesn't like it. This time, I'm really glad I trusted my gut and bought the smaller 12 lb bag instead of the big one because sure enough, she didn't eat it. When I went back, Katie was incredibly helpful with getting me set up for an exchange. I wasn't looking for a refund, just something my dog would actually enjoy eating, and she made the process smooth and stress-free. Just a heads up for anyone there is a 30-day return policy, but you do need to bring the bag and have your receipt (email or text works great) to avoid any hiccups. Also, Kat was there sampling the Nutri Source, and she was amazing. Super friendly, attentive, and great with the dogs. She gave me some samples and really took the time to understand what was going on with my pup. Since my dog is grain-free, she suggested possibly rotating between grain-free and grain-inclusive options, which I hadn't considered before. I ended up trying the chicken and rice recipe so we'll see how that goes! Overall, everyone there is always welcoming, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about helping you find the best for your pet. I had a great experience today with Silky Pet Spa! I have a 1 year old Siberian cat that is long haired. Unfortunately there really aren't many places that do cat grooming in the valley and it has been hard finding a place that is able to groom her, but so glad I now found this spa. I took my cat sookie in today and it was easy to schedule, well priced and they did a stellar job. She had a bath brush and sanitary/tummy shave and is now so much happier. I also really appreciated that they gave me a 'health check' after and let me know she had a few mats and that she had a little rash on her tummy that should get checked out at the vet. I wasn't totally surprised by the mats since I've been having a hard time finding a groomer for her and it's been hard to try and groom her myself, but now she has a schedule so that won't happen again. It seemed like he really cared about the health of my cat overall and would definitely recommend to anyone! read more

I am absolutely in love with this place. We followed the owner to his new establishment and could not be more thankful we did. Our dogs feel so comfortable with everyone that works there and the owner goes above and beyond to make sure my dogs are taken care of and safe. I am always worried leaving my dogs with literally anyone or concerned while getting groomed someone might cut their hair outside of my standards. Trust me that is not a concern here. They never fail to impress me! My dog Luna is a little bit of an anxious dog when it comes to getting groomed but I have noticed in each appointment she's scared at first but completely happy and fine when I go to pick her up. Are Pomeranian is a very nervous dog and they do a great job of calming him down. I've had to give him medication to go to the groomers in the past, but he seems to be fine with Silky pet. He was recently bit by a dog and we were concerned that he would not do well. But they did a great job, keeping him calm and getting the job done. read more
