We believe the pricing accurately reflects the services given and ease of experience for us pet owners to schedule drop offs and pick ups. Especially considering they do cats, which many don't. They also always take both cats at the same time which is very convenient as well. Their services are very comprehensive and have an emphasis on the pet's health. WORTH THE DRIVE: went here purely off the yelp reviews alone, they were able to get me in with a couple of days - no months long wait - and weren't phased by my westie's long and grungy demeanor. I just started taking my three furbabies to Silky Pet Spa and I am very happy with this whole place. It's exceptionally clean, customer service is outstanding and I love that they keep the AC very cool inside for my babies in the summer. This is a great spot for your favorite four legged friend. Our golden doodle suffered from pelted fur that was impossible to handle and was probably hurting and pulling at his skin. These guys were so professional and knowledgeable. They took their time speaking to us prior to our visit, and when we arrived they explained everything in detail. ATTENTION AUSSIE OWNERS: Shadow doesn't miss (he's also the sweetest)! Winnie has that very typical, thick Aussie floof and specific outline that's meant to be maintained. She also has a very Type-A Mom who couldn't bear another groomer hacking into her coat or shaping her as if she were a doodle . Not only do they do a great job grooming cats, which is not easy, they're consistently good. In the years I've been going my cats have never had a bad haircut or negative experience. The owner is very pleasant and has done a great job running his business and continues to provide more and more services as it grows. I can tell he genuinely cares so much about animals and I feel safe leaving them there knowing they are in good hands. The grooming appointments do take longer than other places I've been to, but I see this as a good thing! We pulled up around 10:30am and Bailey was finished in about 10mins. They did a great job with cutting her nails. The ends were not rough or jagged. Mind you my dog doesn't have a lot of hair. The owner said it would be 50% more for a 3 hour cut! They charged me for not keeping my appointment . I had contacted Silky Pet after my goldendoodle puppy come home from a nightmare of a grooming appoint at another salon where she came back shaved against my wishes. Not only was she shaved, but her coat length, ears, tail, and face were super choppy. I was devastated. I had never been to Silky Per before, but I felt comfortable bringing my pup here. From the initial communication, exploring their website, drop off, to the constant communication while my pup was at the salon. They made a horrible situation 1000x better (honestly I was not sure this was possible). I could tell my pup came home happier and as doodle owner I am stoked to find a groomer that I can trust to care for my pup and her coat health.
