The pricing is reasonable for such a large dog and it's always the same price which I appreciate. They are great about sending reminders to schedule without being pushy. I love how they always take him back and start grooming and then let you know about 15 minutes prior to them finishing so you can be there on time for pick up and they don't crate them for a long period of time. Everyone is so nice and does a great job. Have recommended to friends and will continuing coming here for a long time!

To their credit, the business did take responsibility and reimbursed me for the full vet bill and medication costs. I truly appreciate that gesture it helped relieve some of the financial and emotional stress this situation caused. That said, Yelp discourages removing reviews that document genuine customer experiences, so rather than delete my original post, I'm editing it to reflect how the situation was resolved. WellGroomed ultimately did the right thing by covering the medical expenses, and I'm grateful for that. I still believe they have skilled groomers and do great work with many breeds, but this experience was a reminder that even premium services can have oversights. I hope the salon uses this as an opportunity to reinforce careful handling and post-groom checks for all pets so that no owner or pup has to go through something similar again.

So on a whim... and because diesel is over $6 a gallon and Lily is part Great Pyrenees (IYKYK) we thought we'd run her down the street for what was quoted on the phone as a $50 bath, nails, and deshedding. Well... as if I didn't already hate myself for "cheating" on my long term ... sigh... they DOUBLED THE PRICE without any call or conversation. Now, when I called perhaps they could have found a reasonable explanation. But, what I got was, "prices go up" and "it's fine, don't bring her back if you don't like it". Well... lesson learned. The dog is traumatized and so am I. There will be no repeat visits from us... even for the self-wash area. Dammit.... I hate businesses that don't think they need repeat business!!!! NO to Barking Dogs Self-Wash & Grooming.... Unless you like surprises... of the not so good kind.... The one star is because you have to choose a minimum... 1 experience 1 star... Ha... nice try on your comment, and I don't see how to address that directly. She is MIXED with Pyrenees, yes. She is predominantly Aussie, and only about 50 lbs. My DAUGHTER dropped her off and picked her up, so nice try with your generational crap there buddy. And you just solidified the "no accountability " of businesses like you these days!
