Brandon is amazing with pets. You can easily see he loves his profession. Dogs are a good judge of character and Brandon welcomes them.

A Doggie in the Window - Freshly groomed by Brandon at A Doggie In The Window/Phoenix Apr 2023 - Pet Groomers Near Me - Phoenix, Arizona

Brandon does such an amazing job! I'm a first time dog mom so I was really nervous bringing my 3 pound baby to the groomers for the first time. I felt like he was safe and in great hands. During COVID, you cannot wait inside but I was pleasantly surprised when I came to pick him up! Thank you Brandon read more

I can't express enough how amazing Brandon is! He is first class with all of my doggies. They love coming to see him. We do not live close by any means, we travel from moon valley area. But I wouldn't want anyone else to spend the day with my dogs. He is so passionate about what he does and really loves my dogs! We found a GEM for sure. We have been coming to Brandon for 9 years now or even longer. Time flies.....thank you Brandon for always making my babies feel loved and making them beautiful! There are groomers who go through the motions. Sure your dog is kinda clean, but meh. Kind of like going through a gas station car wash and being left with water spots and swirls. From the moment Brandon saw my (part-time maniac) Vizsla puppy, he immediately engaged with her, went right to her, and started playing. He connected in such a genuine way, I'm thinking that it's quite possible that Brandon is part canine. It's that kind of intuition that puts pets in the right state of mind for what can otherwise be a stressful ordeal. When I picked up my pooch, not only was she impeccably and thoroughly groomed (not to mention fresh smelling), she was busy having a play date with Brandon's own dogs. Good thing I had beef jerky in my pocket or she might not have left with me. Brandon really cares about what he does. It's not easy to gain this over protective Vizsla owner's trust. Not only did Brandon earn that, but he also earned a loyal customer. Mahalo Brandon! read more

Kirby (a soft-coated Wheaten Terrier) and Scout (a Yorkshire Terrier) look fantastic after spending the afternoon with Brandon at "A Doggie In The Window." Ollie and Beau Beau (2 Chinese Cresteds) will go in the next week or so and I have no doubt that they'll look just as great as the first two when they're finished. Brandon took his time and both the dogs really liked him. Very reasonable to boot! read more

I've been going to Brandon at Doggie in the Window for over 8 years. He always does a wonderful job with my mini schnauzer, Bentley. Bentley stil has his tail and he always makes it look fluffy and pretty. In addition to being a great groomer he is friendly and professional. I moved to the West Valley 3 years ago but still drive downtown every 6 weeks! read more

Yes yes yes! He takes care of our dog and gives Winnie a great cut at a good price. We can tell he loves animals and takes his time to love on them and groom them. You can also leave your doggie there for hour past the grooming if needed with your work schedule. This is a great place for grooming. It might be hard to reach the groomer, dropping in is best or just leave a voicemail. 5 stars!!! read more

Walked in on Brandon while he was grooming my father-in-law's bichon...apparently he didn't hear me. He hit her hard on top of her head before he noticed I was there. I was shocked that he would do that, especially to Midget, who is small and old. I wouldn't trust him with any of my dogs after seeing that. read more

Brandon is the best! He has such a kind and gentle way about him. Our very senior Australian Shepherd immediately trusted him.

What a great find. The service is fantastic, the pricing reasonable and the results incredible. Tucked away in a small strip mall across the street from world famous Bandaids cabaret, Doggie In The Window is an unassuming storefront that holds amazing treasures inside. Unpretentious and welcoming, the owner Brandon greets everyone with a smile and will turn your dirty mutt into a champion show dog in a matter of hours. I'm hooked; why aren't you? read more

I have been a client now for over 10 years (even before Brandon opened this business). He does beautiful work and all 3 of my dogs absolutely adore him. We get lots of compliments on their summer lion cuts, as they are large, striking dogs. read more

I'm very sad to have to dock A Doggie in the Window. I had such a great experience the first time, I was eager to bring my cat Charlotte back. I called for an appointment about 6 weeks ago. I left a clear and detailed message. No return call. About 2 weeks later, I call again. Same result. From Aleta L.'s review, it doesn't sound like they have stopped doing cats. My cat was so well behaved last time, I know that wasn't it. I left a generous tip, and wrote a 5-star Yelp review, so that can't be it. So, what gives? Answer your messages. read more

I moved out of state last April and I couldn't find a groomer in Marin Co. with a decent review...so what do I do? I take Sicily to PHOENIX so that Brandon can work his magic! I might have to move back to Phoenix just for this reason alone. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this place! read more

We won't take our dogs anywhere else besides "A Doggie in the Window," he does a great job. It should be noted the one minus about "A Doggie in the Window" is that Brandon can be a bit tough to get ahold of. If Yelp! allowed it, I'd probably give a 4.5 star review due to that. But since Brandon's prices are extremely reasonable and he does an amazing job, I rounded up to 5 stars. Our 2 Shih Tzus Sammy & Brindle love Brandon too. If you see them looking cute as can be in the Country Club Oval Park its because you know Brandon worked his magic again. read more

Once again, Brandon is the cat whisperer! This is the second year I've taken my grumpy cat in for a summer shave. When I drop her off she's hissing and threatening to pee on my pillow out of vengeance, and when I go pick her up she's purring and so happy she doesn't want to leave! He's amazing! The only reason why I marked him lower last time was because it's tricky to get an appointment set up... indeed he's bad about checking voicemail and calling you back, as other reviews note. I'm over it. I just call him a couple times until I get him and book the appointment. I won't take my cat anywhere else! read more

Brandon at Doggie in the Window is hands down the best groomer I have ever met!! He goes above and beyond. You can tell from the moment you meet him that his calm and confident personality rubs off on the pets he grooms. He takes his time and gets to know each one. He does a phenomenal job! Because of Brandon my dogs actually get excited and look forward to going to the groomer. If your dog needs to be groomed definitely take them to Doggie in the Window. read more

This place is awesome! Groomer was so sweet to my little dog Mattie who can be ornery, she was all snuggled up with him when I picked her up and was totally comfortable! She looked amazing and had a great morning at this place :) read more

There are a lot of great things to be said about Brandon and his approach to grooming. This place is laid back, unpretentious, priced accordingly and on top of that, B knows just what he's doing. He's calm, cool, and collected and manages to put my most nervous dog at ease. He's confident, organized and just an all around nice guy. His grooming is meticulous. And I trust him completely with my four-legged babies. That's half the battle of finding a good groomer. Brandon's even babysat my most skiddish of the bunch--who I was afraid to put in a traditional boarding scenario. read more

Can't recommend this highly enough. My grandpuppy is a Maltipoo who hates being groomed and has been cut and traumatized by groomers elsewhere. The wonderful groomer at A Doggie in the Window gave Max times out during his grooming session so he could calm down. He came home happy and in beautiful shape. read more

Brandon did a excellent job on our part chow-chow, Oreo, who is very scared and nervous around any strangers. Oreo has a lot of hair and it was matted in some spots. Brandon took his time trying to ease her nerves by going slow and being patient. Oreo looks beautiful for a very affordable price. We will definitely return soon. read more

What a great place. I have a beautiful "Lucky" rescue dog that has a past I wish she could tell the world about. I'm sure she had never been groomed before and my attempts were not working. I'd been putting off a formal grooming and checked out a few places that I did not feel comfortable with so checked on yelp, read reviews and ran over to A Doggie in the Window the next day. I was instantly impressed by Brandon as a kind, and gentle person who instantly put me at ease. Lucky came out looking like her inner princess and I was sold. I know she'll be looking forward to her next appointment. I convinced my son that his long haired cat Stella would also enjoy Brandon's services and she came out looking like a lovely lioness. I'm so glad I found this place. read more

My Maltese does not like being groomed and is a real pain to brush and bathe. I've seen other groomers lose patience with her and take it out on her - no wonder she hates going! But Brandon at Doggie in the Window is a TRUE ANIMAL LOVER, he's SO sweet and patient with her I feel 100% confident about dropping her off there. The price is reasonable and she always looks perfect when I pick her up! read more

We have two long haired dogs, a Lhasa Apso and a Shih Tzu / Bichon Frisé. Previous trips to numerous groomers around town have been very exasperating for them and for me. I was looking for someone who the pups could trust and love. Someone who would consistently groom them according to their breeds and exactly the way we want them done. After several recommendations, I decided to try Brandon at A Doggie in the Window. Not only is he conveniently located at 7th St & Virginia, but when I go to pick them up they are happy, perfectly groomed and clean! We have gone there for months now. Brandon is a gem, we cannot say enough good things about him and the loving service that he provides to our pups and the community. read more

My dogs, Muttzi and Fooshti, LOVE Brandon and his grooming shop. It's a special day for them when they get to go to the spa! Brandon is a fabulous groomer, not just talented in his craft, but totally connects with the dogs. He does house calls! My Muttzi is in a splint and Brandon came to my home to trim nails and hair. What a gift you are Brandon! I LOVE A Doggie in the Window! read more

My mother has brought her 10-year old boxer, Magnus, all the way from Glendale to have him groomed for years, and I have brought my old roommate's 2-year old, pit-bull, Chloe, to Brandon for full on grooming or just a nail trim since she was a puppy. He's always so cheerful and funny. He really cares for the animals. He can take the most matted mess of an animal and make it look like a super star! Yes, he's a hard to get ahold of on the phone. But, I just take it as he's just super busy with business because he's just THAT GOOD. Yet, I find it easier to sometimes just to stop in.. He's in a convenient location. Especially for me being I live just two blocks over from his shop! You ROCK Brandon!! read more

This place is wonderful. Brandon does a great job grooming our 2 dogs. He is friendly, very professional, and his setup is perfect for the dogs (that is, the dogs get to wait with other dogs while they are getting ready to be groomed...so for the dogs, its like a day care setup). Anyway, his prices are great, and his work is exceptional. This was our first visit, and I will not take our dogs anywhere else in the future. I give Doggie in the Window my highest recommendation. read more

We live all the way across town from Brandon but I would trust absolutely no one else for grooming or daycare of our precious Josie. She is my daughter's dog and my granddogger and I have never adored an animal like I do this little canine soul! She loves him and he loves her! Sometimes when grooming her, she decides she is over it and he puts her down to rest and then finishes later. I have walked in to find him holding her on his lap, petting and talking to her. Several others people I know use him all feel he is the best in town and I'd refer anyone to him. I have a friend that has taken rescued animals to him who look awful and when they leave they look amazing - his compassion for animals is second to none - and it shows! read more
