Terrible customer service line. Package failed to be delivered to my apt twice in a row due to them not being able to locate my apt even though no one in modern history has ever had an issue (it's written on the gate). They can't even tell me why it wasn't delivered because they claimed they couldn't verify my address (even though I gave them the one on the receipt)??? So absolutely no help. Had to cancel the gift I ordered because I cannot handle the incompetency of this organization anymore. Phone attendant didn't have a shred of decency, just kept repeating the same sentence over and over again with no remorse. Amazon and USPS are running laps around this place. DO NOT USE! EDIT: seems like I had the same issue as many other people and this is a systemic issue at this location. Employees here know what they're doing and have no remorse. I needed to expedite a package to the mainland and should have filled out the to and from info before approaching the counter. FYI - this paper is located at the small kiosk that also has small to large boxes for priority mailing. Plan ahead and your experience will be something you like instead of to dread! NECESSARY EVIL! This location is considered the main station for FedEx in Honolulu. Not sure why their rating is so low; ok I can guess but so far as I'm concerned they are a necessary evil so deal with it. Hours posted. Supplies readily available. Learn how to get your label on line before you head there. If you can't they will do it for you but you need to hand write the information on their form.... like a manual way bill and then, they will enter it into their system. The parking lot for customers is barricaded as of today BUT, parking is available, you just need to drive around the lot. PLEASE NOTE: if you get to any other Ship Center by 2:00 pm, your package/parcel will leave the same day. If you get to the MAIN Ship Center (which is this location on Pohakulana St - off Lagoon Drive) by 3 pm, your package will leave the same day. If not, it will leave the next day. Best you open an account via the internet (it's free) and you might get a discount... Otherwise your rate is full retail. The other advantage if you open an account via the internet is you can generate you shipping waybill in advance of dropping your parcel off. read more

Almost every time with FedEx. My neighbor tells me there's a note on the outside of the building and nobody ever tried to ring up to get in and make the delivery. This was an urgent shipment sent overnight made possible by feats of human engineering and organization, only to make it as far as the outside of my building because somebody has to teim their scedule. I've been home all day waiting for it. They're supposed to deliver until 8:00 p.m. and it's only 5:30. But good luck getting a hold of anybody who can help. What happened to FedEx? I was hunting down my pair of Nike's. The number on the door tag is a mainland number. FedEx doesn't have a local number listed. When you call the number you get an automated system and you can have your package held at one of their sites for the next day. They don't tell you what location your package is at if you want to pick it up that day. I went to go hunt down my shoes. I went to FedEx Ground first, because that's where my shoes were the last time. Ground told me my package was at this location, but it wasn't. The lady behind the counter checked my door tag and told me my package was the the old Hilo Hattie on Nimitz. She told me that they close at 7pm, but that I could still make it. It was 6:35pm. The other guy behind the counter told me to go up the ramp and that it would be right there. I thanked them and was on my way to the Nimitz location. People are always complaining about FedEx. I've always gotten great service from them at all the different locations. I hope I didn't just jinx myself. read more

Every visit that I've needed to make has always been a pleasant one. They are always friendly and felt that they have gone above and beyond to help the person in front of them. I would leave NEGATIVE stars if I could! FedEx SUCKS!!! Yesterday, November 24, 2025, a little after 5:00pm my box was delivered to my home in the Keolu area. I was cleaning at that time but when I saw the Fedex truck, I went out to in time to see the driver leaving my box. I even gave him a can of coke. After realizing my box looked like the tape had been tampered with, as well as the box being smashed, AND some items were missing, I ran back to inform the driver about it. I showed him my packing slip and asked him what I'm supposed to do because some of my medical supply items were missing and it looked like the box had been tampered with. He ended up calling someone and I was then informed that the only thing I could do is deny delivery and contact the sender to inform them that the box will be shipped back. I did that. Then he said he needed me to sign the pad after telling me it was to sign off since I was denying delivery. I did that. Immediately after, when I contacted my medical supply center, they told me that Fedex marked the box as delivered and they have a picture proof and my signature. Now my medical supplies is marked as delivered and I can't get new ones because of that driver or until FedEx change that delivery was denied not delivered! To make matters worse, it arrived in 2 weeks not the 2 days like it was supposed to! Even more frustrating is that I can't even get through to a human being to report this issue!!! Lesson...DON'T SIGN FOR ANYTHING!!! FedEX in Honolulu should be ashamed of themselves for the way they run their business and the people they hire!!! They have the date and time, now look up who their driver was in my area and do the right thing! This package wasn't gifts or material things, IT WAS MY MEDICAL SUPPLIES!!! Due to the pandemic negative Covid testing, possible quarantine restrictions with greater risks of flying exposure making it difficult to come home for Christmas, we decided to send gifts through Fed Ex instead of the regular neighborhood post office to our daughter and grandpup. We brought the 2 suitcases here on Saturday and one arrived on Tuesday and the other one the following evening. It was easier to pack the gifts like this instead of double the amount of large flat rate boxes. One less load for Santa and his reindeer and relief for us that everything was sent and arrived before the December 15th Xmas delivery cut off date. First Christmas she won't be coming home to be with us during Winter Break but at least a little Aloha made it's way to her there. There is ample parking at this facility far in on Lagoon Drive. Customers must wear masks to enter. There was one couple at one counter, one person at the 2 Nd counter and one couple waiting in front of us. My back was just inside the door as we waited our turn and I saw a small line had formed outside keeping social distancing in tact. Way shorter wait than at the post office. Recently we've encountered 3 mishaps with packages taking 2 months to arrive or still in transit through the postal service. With Fed Ex we had peace of mind and ease in tracing when one suitcase arrived one day later. Recently I had (2) Fed Ex envelopes delivered to my home by mistake. (Same street wrong address) Everyone knows it's probably important docs inside. I called Customer Service, had a case no# given and was asked to leave the envelopes back outside my gate for delivery to pick them up tomorrow. I did just that. Today, I come home from work and there are the (2) same envelopes with yellow stickers added to them. What the hell?! So, taking their problem into my own hands, I looked closely at the envelope and called a local no#. I left a message and the owner called back. Bought a toy off Gamestop online. Had I knew Gamestop used Fedex to do deliveries, I would had never bought the product. Fedex shipped my product to someone else in my building. What appeared to be going back and forth for about a week with texts, emails, and answering machines, Fedex closed the case saying there is nothing they can do. Judging by all these reviews, I don't even know why Fedex is still in business. I will never use them again. I'm guessing the time of day you go really matters. Unlike the other reviews, I did not have a bad experience. Pretty sure, the day AFTER Christmas is totally slow. Their parking lot was completely empty when I arrived. l walked in and was helped right away, no line. The nice gentleman scanned my box and issued me a print out. I have had no problems with FedEx before, but today took the cake. I had 5 envelopes delivered today and one of the envelopes had the item missing. The side was ripped. I have had no problems before so I didn't check to see if packages were damaged or compromised. I just trusted the driver/deliverer that he would spot the problem first before delivering it to me. He just scanned and delivered without asking for my signature. When I got in the house, that is when I found the problem. To deliver a LOWES product to HOME DEPOT store front by a FedEx driver by error and expect Lowes to correct it. We'd custom order blinds from Lowes.com. Two boxes were delivered to our home on 2 separate days, we were not aware there was a third until we received a call from Home Depot saying they have a box addressed to us. Apparently FedEx delivered our custom blinds which has our address on it to Hone Depot which has the return address to LOWES. Home Depot called FedEx and was told they needed to contact the shipper and tell them to handle it even though the error was from the FedEx driver. Left a door tag, which my wife signed, but the refused to deliver because it said "signature must be in English." Which I should add is both illegal and discrimination. I called FedEx and they said that is not their policy that signature must be in English. FedEx has been very consistent with their promised delivery dates. Tracking your package online is simple via the app or World Wide Web. Their facility is the same being very simple and organized. I missed a delivery that required a signature and couldn't wait for the re-delivery attempt. I headed to their main office where the FedEx slip said to go if I wanted it that day. The personal pickup time was between 6pm and closing at 7pm. I made it around 6:40pm. The facility was very easy to find and the staff was quick and professional. He asked for an ID with the delivery attempt slip. I thought it would take awhile for him to retrieve my package but it was less than a minute!! Very organized facility. read more

Let's be honest. Shipping rates across different shipping companies are horrendous. That's why I jump on opportunities to buy online with free shipping! I know nothing in life is free, so I guess I shouldn't have been expecting anything when I purchased my 3 piece luggage set online. Fed ex never called me or tried to notify me that they could not deliver to my door. Instead, I had to go through the company I purchased my items with to find out where the hell my things were. Ohhh they're at the Fed ex shipping customer service center. So I drive to the airport area in rush hour traffic to get my box and low and behold, it's not there. It had been shipped back from the mainland. The guy who helped me was pretty nice, but also not helpful. They can't look up packages using your name or any other info other than the fed ex shipping number. I actually picked up a different package from ups nearby and that was a breeze compared to fed ex. I have a very unfortunate story, and anyone who has missed their FedEx home delivery can feel my pain. Looking at your front door with a note that says that they "tried" to deliver your package, and they will again try to deliver your package at XX day can cause so much painnnnn! I've been really looking forward to my package to arrive, I even opted to receive notification on the delivery, there are so many things that the app and FedEx can improve on like notifying the recipient on an updated time when it will arrive, or notifying the recipient that the delivery person is at your door... but then again we can't always have it our way. I got home early from work, and reminded my mom that a package should be arriving and to look out for it, I got home and she had to leave so I decided to take a quick shower... I really thought I planned it out well, delivery said it would come before 8:30pm and it was 4:00pm, I figured whats a 15min shower going to do.... guess what! In that 15minute time span I missed my delivery, and I was in a complete panic! Was I willing to wait a few days for my package and risk not being there again or go to the address provided? I wanted to be sure that my package will be there, so I called different numbers because they didn't provide a number for them, and the number here on Yelp didn't help at all. I called a different FedEx and they transferred me to the to the right number. I spoke with Sebastian who graciously helped me track my package and assured me that If I go around 6:45-7:00pm I would walk out with my package...this gave me some sort of anxiety because they close at 7pm! I risked it and I ended up going to this FedEx at 6:45PM and I WALKED OUT OF MY PACKAGE! FedEx in Hawaii is awful. UPS (obviously) and even USPS are far better options. FedEx always holds my package and will never actually deliver to my address because they are too LAZY to go through security at a gated community. They just hold the package at the airport and expect me to drive all the way there and pick it up. I have to call customer service multiple times to get them to actually deliver. Get in, take care of business, and get out. Abundance of free visitors parking. Allowed to bring your own boxes and place your own labels if you choose not use boxes provided by FedEx. I try not to leave negative reviews, but this one is worth writing. A lot of us use FedEx because of the trust and quality of service. One could argue, sometimes we do not have an alternative (sure there is UPS, but most of us are creatures of habit). On Friday July 31st, around 5 PM, we visited the customer ship center. All I can say is the employee was surly, did not want to help. As a matter of fact, he did not want to work that day. We were told our items could not be shipped, with no reason given. When asked, why? We were told "That's all I know". This was a very bizarre encounter. After an awkward pause and no other explanation forthcoming, we had no choice but to leave. They never called me or tried to knock. Then the lady at the 128 Pohakulana place location kept speaking over me, and stating there is no way they left s slip with the tracking number. Umm hello I had just read her the tracking number from the slip. Then she said oh well it was probably there for a long time. I was just outside my door yesterday smh. Just rude!!! I'm very shocked. I am not looking forward to having to pick up my parcel from here. It wasn't my choice to use FedEx and I'm hoping the experience will be positive. I had a delivery that was supposed to be in Thursday 8/11/2022 but no one was home as we all work and the kids are in school. Delivery was at 1pm. They came again today at 1229, and it was the same scenario...people are working. This package needs to be signed so I need to go down today otherwise risk missing the final delivery on Monday. You could barely find parking...and had to wait in line to get a spot and then you had to wait in line for an eternity to get to an employee. I had no choice but to get a package sent off tonight. I don't like to give out low ratings on yelp BUT this place deserves a zero (actually, fedex in general). My company sent me a replacement computer with next day delivery (I don't use fedex myself but I'm sure it's pricey since we are in Hawaii). Was supposed to receive the package on Saturday however, after speaking to fedex support, I was told it would be Monday.. which is understandable cause everyone is understaffed due to covid. However, I waited all day at home for my package. There was no update to whether the package left the facilities until after 5pm when there was an "attempted" delivery at 4:59. I didn't receive a notice whether the package is out for delivery or that someone is "attempting" to deliver my computer. I checked the tracking and was told my package is back at the facilities. Frustrated, I called fedex and had customer support hang up on me 3x within an hour. Then, when requesting an email to submit a complaint cause fuck fedex makes it nearly impossible to talk to.. they proceed to give me a fake email. Worst customer service ever. I will never ever use fedex for shipping... FedEx, I am not feeling your "responsibility to deliver the resources that improve the lives of those [you] serve." Fedx did it again. Had Omaha steaks delivered today and the driver placed the container outside the gate and left. Didn't ring door bell. Complained to company and they condone that type service because of a locked gate and no signature required. Think about that. With all the thefts happening and a frozen product that I would not get until the next day! No common sense to ring doorbell before leaving. Forgot to mention I am in Hawaii. 80 degree weather.
