Tried Febe Coffee for the first time and got the Spanish Latte with banana pudding. The banana pudding was SO good and honestly my favorite part! The coffee itself was a little too sweet and not as strong as I personally prefer--I love my coffee more on the strong Vietnamese coffee side. They did offer me an extra shot, which I appreciated, but I wanted to try it as-is since it was my first time. Overall, really good drink and great service! Lots of people there. It's a chill vibe. A few people, even with their laptops. I'd definitely come back and try it with an extra shot next time.
A cute place in Irvine with a variety of drinks to choose from. Plenty of parking in the front with tables both inside and outside the cafe. I'm a hojicha fan so I ordered the Black Sesame Hojicha. I liked the nuttiness of the drink and the sesame was a wonderful addition to the flavor profile for about the average price point of similar specialty drinks ($7). Something to note though: even though it was evening time, all of the tables were full so I had to take my drink to-go. Aiming to return and try more of their menu (and hopefully stay longer too)!
Great selection of drinks, I feel like they have a very interesting variety that can appeal to all kinds of tastes and palates. Super friendly and attentive customer service by the whole staff. Would like to try their double matcha, mango matcha and strawberry matcha next time. I did enjoy the ube and banana marchas. Not elite or perfect but very good. As for the coffee lotus eispanner with almond milk. Thought it was very balanced, not too sweet. It's a solid option. Oh and I think their logo / cup art is really freaking cool. I'm a fan. Cheers
I stopped by Febe Coffee with a friend and was intrigued by their diverse menu selection of drinks along with their secret menu. I opted for their Matcha Latte with Biscoff Cream on their secret menu. While there were plenty of people waiting, I was able to get my order quickly within 10 minutes. The matcha was smooth and earthy, while the Biscoff cream added a rich, sweet, and slightly spiced flavor that paired well with the matcha. The drink itself was on the more indulgent side like a dessert, but I still appreciated the quality of the matcha itself. Lots of unique drinks to try at Febe Coffee!
Cute coffee shop that seems like a good place to get some work done. It's not that big overall but there was some seating both inside and outside. Overall thought this place was ok but I have friends that like the matcha here a lot so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing Panda latte: 3/5 it was ok but I don't think i'd order it again My boyfriend also got an ube matcha latte which he thought was just ok
I have seen this place on social media and was hoping to try it one day. Was in the area and this place popped up. So I gotta stop by to try it. Ordered the lotus latte & corn matcha. None of the drinks really stand out. The lotus was biscoff and there was nothing special about it. I had better. Same with the corn matcha. The corn flavor wasn't really there...matcha itself was not bad. Cute place Prob will not drive outta my way for it...
This used to be my go-to matcha spot for a very long time. Now however, the quality has been consistently average. The matcha is not as creamy as before and not much matcha taste too, which I used to love at Febe (a specialty for me infact). I do hope they revert back to what it was a few months ago, as this current version is just not doing it for me :(
The coffee place is located in a tiny neighborhood plaza with a small parking lot. There are only 4 or 5 tables inside and 5 tables outside, 2 with umbrellas. They're best know for their matcha drinks but I went a different direction, ordering an iced Madagascar vanilla latte and choosing a raspberry pistachio croissant from their pastry case. The interior had no available seating so I sat at an unshaded outdoor table for a few minutes. I appreciated the judicious amount of ice in the latte (I dislike it when places over-ice the drink). It was just okay with no flavor of vanilla detected despite their note that their vanilla syrup is housemade. The pastry was very not-so-great. It wasn't warmed (as requested) and was quite dry. I couldn't taste any pistachio, even with some crumbles on top, and the raspberry was minimal. It was oddly sliced horizontally in half. Based on other reviews, come for the matcha drinks otherwise it's a pass.
I tired their mango match and was absolutely amazing!! It's a cute little coffee shop with minister seating and parking Can get crowded fast
Love this place and their variety drinks menu, another plus is the awesome pricing just one flat price. $7 bucks for the double matcha is great. The drinks are on the sweeter side so 30% is good for me. Pretty good tasting double matcha and fast service too.
The matcha is phenomenal here!! My husbands favorite is the banana matcha as seen in all the pictures. I am on a rotation from corn, black seasame and ube matcha. The space inside is outdated and a bit dirty...the matcha is the prize here! They have outdoor area and seating inside. Worth it for the matcha! There seems to be a line everytime we go! I wouldn't get coffee here...just matcha!
Considered good matcha to me! Nothing super special compared to the LA ktown ones haha. Service was friendly and fast, clean interior. - ube matcha: my friend got it 0% sweet. i would prefer maybe half sweet if they offer that customization. - corn matcha: personally, i didn't really taste the corn flavor. delicious matcha though. - strawberry matcha: delish! would get again. - double matcha: yum, standard, would order again.
I opted for the Ube Matcha and I really liked the matcha and Ube quality. The drink is creamy and full flavor, matcha flavor is apparent and not just sweet green milk. Service was quick and luckily I came during a low time, but it does get busy as the day goes on. Ambiance is nice with limited indoor seating and a few seats available outside. Parking can be limited.
The banana pudding matcha was ok. The topping made the drink unsippable from the mouth of the cup since the bits kept blocking the hole. The topping was merely for decoration purposes. Strawberry matcha was just ok as well. They use strawberry syrup over freshly blended strawberries. Not bad, but not incredible enough for us to keep coming back. Seating in the cafe was uncomfortable with weird tables, so not a place I'd recommend to come study or work. read more
Loved my first visit to Febe coffee! I went on Labor Day today which happened to be there buy one get one free deal for the first 100 customers which I didn't even know about. The line was long but they did a great job of keeping it moving. The employee at the register was so kind and helped me decide on the Nutty latte which was truly delicious! As a peanut butter lover this one was amazing! I also tried the banana cream matcha which was so tasty! My bf got the yuzu matcha and he said it was the best one he's ever had and ended up going back up for a second one. Overall this place is amazing, great drinks, easy to find and lots of parking so I'll be back! The only one downside is they don't have a lot of tables so sitting space is limited but I also went at a really busy time. Overall worth a trip! read more

If you're here for matcha, you're probably fine but hojicha or coffee? You could pass. The hojicha was very flat and felt grainy. I couldn't taste or any of the usual notes in hojicha, it just felt like a sweet drink. The Madagascar Iced latte was another drink that was just okay. Nothing special here. The staff was very sweet and there's limited seating inside but a good amount outside to come with friends. I'd give this place another try, but wouldn't actively look to go here. read more

Was in the area and heard about this shop! I got the Spanish latte with banana pudding cream top. It was soooo goood! My boyfriend started stealing my drink because it was so delicious. The place was very busy but the drinks still came out very quickly. It looked like a cute spot to stay and work too. The staff were all friendly. Will definitely be stopping by again! read more
I wanted to like Febe after seeing some hype for it on social media but unfortunately it didn't live up to expectations. My party and I ordered the royal milk tea, black sesame hojicha and strawberry matcha drinks as well as an egg sandwich. While nothing was terrible, none of the items were very good either, with the best being the black sesame hojicha and the worst being the royal milk tea. Ambiance felt basically the same as Baum coffee which was the previous business at this location. Service was nice enough. Parking is typically busy on weekends but you can usually find a spot if you're willing to park further away from the cafe. read more

I was able to walk to Febe coffee. I was excited to see the menu. Would definitely recommend this place. They have a wide variety of drinks. I was able to get the banana matcha. My friend got the cookie butter and that was super delicious. Excited to go back and try that drink. Overall, the people were helpful and I got the drinks quickly. There are seats available inside and outside. read more

I stumbled upon this quaint little cafe while visiting Irvine, and must say it was a great find! The drinks here are delicious. I ordered a strawberry hojicha which had a strawberry cream on top...and I couldn't stop sipping. My friends ordered their matcha and coffee with cream tops and each one had great flavor. The staff was so helpful with my questions and very friendly. Highly recommend if you're in the area!! read more
Had to see what the hype was all about at Febe Coffee. Parking is a bit tricky during prime time hours. It can be tricky to find as it is in the corner but their signs made it easier. The ambiance is super simple and casual. There are indoor and outdoor seating. I appreciate that there is variety on their menu. Ordering was simple and fast - no issues with the baristas. I ordered the lotus einspanner but wasn't in love. I'll have to come back and check out their matcha. read more
I love coming to febe for a fun matcha that's pretty close by. So far I've ordered the island ube, matcha eispanner, banana pudding matcha, and the regular ube. My favorite is either the island ube or banana pudding. The service here has always been fast, and they offered great recommendations. The interior is on the smaller side but it is cute. Cant wait to come back to febe and try more matcha! read more

It was good service was good they were very nice. The banana pudding is definitely very PUDDING not much banana I prefer a more banana taste in matchas this was very artificial but to each their own there was not that much seating and we had to park kinda far read more

I was on the hunt for a Hojicha and found this place on the way home. I ordered a Hojicha with black sesame cream foam on top. It was super yummy and same for the matcha. They have a parking lot and seating outside to chill. It was super quick service and loved the vibes. Hope to come back again soon(: read more
Solid matcha spot if you're familiar with Da Vien. They have a wide selection of matcha einspanner drinks. Not in the area often so tried both the island ube and ube matcha. Delicious drinks. Both strong matcha and ube flavor. Sweet drinks and foam. Wish the price was less. It's $7 p drink. Friendly service. Pretty quick pick up and take out spot if you come between 8-9. There wasn't a line. Ambiance chill. Free wifi and small parking lot. read more
Decent spot for Matcha and good to hang out with friends as there's a lot of outdoor seating. The Ube flavor was not that strong, nor was the Matcha but overall it wasn't a bad drink. If you are into lighter and more subtle flavors than I think this place is definitely for you. I think if they made the size of the drink smaller, it would help with the flavor as the matcha wouldn't be drowned out by the milk. read more
If you're looking for a quick coffee or matcha pick me up, Febe is the spot. They have so many delicious looking options to choose from but I opted for their strawberry matcha. It took less than 3 minutes to order and receive my drink. I did come early on a weekend so it wasn't super busy, but service was efficient. The store is clean and has some indoor and outdoor seating. I enjoyed every sip of the matcha. It was creamy, not overly sweet, with the umami matcha flavor. read more

Stopped by for an afternoon pick me up and wow I loved!! I got the lotus einspanner and it was delicious! Perfect balance of coffee and sweetness. Highly recommend, I'll be back to try other drinks! read more
We got the island ube and strawberry matcha. Island ube has a nutty matcha flavor with very strong hints of macadamia nuts which taste so good. Strawberry matcha was good but it wasn't omg wow need to get it again. Service was fast and efficient. Parking is terrible and very limited! We parked in the neighborhood and walked over. I would not personally study here because it's very loud and limited seated but overall would come for a coffee day! read more
I've tried the banana pudding matcha, matcha einspanner, and double matcha. All are pretty good! The banana and matcha einspanner have relatively light matcha flavor, so if you enjoy strong matcha then I would recommend the double matcha. The banana pudding itself is delicious but overpowers the matcha a bit. Service is good and drinks came out quickly. Cute little cafe but there is very limited seating inside and some seating outside. read more

I got their mango matcha latte with oat milk but unfortunately, it came out tasting really weird. Nothing like mango or matcha. Instead, it tasted herbal? I wonder if there was some sort of mishap because it didn't match what everyone was raving about. The cream top itself was good. We got to try the different cream tops they offered. read more

I was sooo excited to try this place that kept popping up on TikTok. I got the Pandan matcha, although it was crossed off the menu, it was still available. It was pretty good, but the only disappointing thing was the cup was not filled?! My photo shows it untouched and it was that full, same with the coffee. I think it was like $6, if I'm paying that much for a drink, it should be full! My bf got the hazelnut coffee which was pretty disappointing. There was no umph taste, which usually when I take a sip of his, I'm like this is really good. Not sure if I'd come back to try! read more

The double Matcha latte is delicious! Reasonably priced at $7.00 Unfortunately they do not offer mobile ordering, you have to go inside to place the order and wait. The lobby is rather small, but there are tables outside on the patio. read more

The lotus Einspanners latte (Biscoff Latte) is amazing, strong coffee taste with a good mix of Biscoff foam and crumbs. 10/10 rating. 1/10 for the Matcha Yuzu Tonic was bitter and I couldn't finish it. It didn't taste like matcha and would stay away which is pretty sad bc I love the matcha taste and Yuzu. It was pretty disappointing read more
New matcha spot in Irvine!! I came here on the day of grand opening (but after the BOGO) and although there was a line, the wait wasn't too long. We got the banana pudding matcha and the double matcha. The double matcha was good as it usually is. The banana pudding matcha, though, exceeded my expectations. I've had banana matcha before, but sometimes the banana flavor is overpowering. With this one though, the banana flavor was there but the sweetness balanced out very well with the matcha flavor! The cookie crumble on top is also a cute finishing touch. They have a wide variety of matcha flavors as well as coffee, and I will definitely be back to try the other drinks! read more

i personally don't think irvine has any good matcha places but febe coffee could change that! got the double matcha, it's creamy with no grainy or powdery taste, no bitter taste tho. the matcha foam could be stronger since it has more of a whipped cream taste. i do have to point out that the cup size is quite small for the price of $7. for irvine, this is a pretty decent spot! but oc matcha in general, you can get a bigger size for the same price elsewhere tbh. but a plus is that they have a huge selection of matcha. it's nice to see a more matcha forward cafe in irvine! read more
i wanted to try this place after seeing some hype on insta and tiktok! the cafe is located in a small plaza, but there is a parking lot (you may have to drive around to find a spot) interior was super cute and minimally designed with interior and outside seating. employee was nice and provided quick service! unfortunately, i was incredibly let down with their pandan matcha latte :( most of my disappointment was the pandan flavoring because it tastes very plastic-y?? it was really weird and it overpowered the flavor of the matcha. i did ask for less ice and i am aware that if you ask for less ice some places will not fill to the top but it's still somewhat disappointing to see it. i don't know if i'll come back to this place, but i hope they improve on their pandan flavoring or switch their syrups. if i'm in the area again, maybe i'll try their coffee instead read more

Literally fantastic. It's a hole in the wall cafe and a treasure, if anything. There's a couple tables indoors and a water station, and there's outdoor seating if you feel so inclined. I got a banana pudding matcha --I consider myself a banana pudding connoisseur-- and wasn't sure what to expect. The server was very nice as I was ordering and when it came out, they asked if I wanted bills to top it off (I did). And drum roll please.... IT WAS SO GOOD. I downed it so quickly. My friend got a matcha einspanner-- she'd been there a couple times before. We love matcha and often make our own, but coming to cafes to try which ones are the best is one of our favorite pastimes. It was $7 for my drink, and a $0.50 up charge for oat milk. I also ordered ube matchas for my friends and ordered one with no ice. When you do that, they ask you if you want more milk or if you want more ube cream. If you're even considering coming here, I would recommend you to get in the car and just drive to Febe. Nicely, of course. You'll definitely find their matcha is worth the hype. read more
They are really under staffed had to wait around 20 mins for our drinks so hope they staff more people. The matcha einspanner is not too sweet and same with the egg coffee. They don't have a lot of good inside seating to do any work I brought my laptop here with my friend to work and they did have bigger outside tables but keep in mind they are metal and not comfortable at all. I would come here again for a quick grab and go but not to stay and work. What's great is they do have WiFi and their WiFi reaches far outside so when you're sitting outside read more

The strawberry matcha was quite refreshing, the strawberry taste wasn't too strong. The lotus biscoff latte was also a great yummy treat. The service was quick and there was a good amount of parking in the small plaza. The place was quite small, not really good for studying, but more for chatting. read more

Came here for the first time on Sunday morning around 11 AM and I was able to find parking ok. There was a little bit of a wait but it went by pretty quickly so that's good. We ordered the banana matcha which was pretty tasty but not the best I've had. I wish they would add more of the banana foam because you can barely taste it. I think this place has potential tho and I can definitely see it growing. I would definitely come back and maybe try another drink! read more
My partner & I came back to try some more matchas :) I ordered the Yuzu Matcha, it had good flavor & was really refreshing, 10/10. My wifey tried the banana matcha this time and she really liked it. The drinks aren't too sweet and that's exactly what I like about them! The times I visited the store staff is always friendly and the cafe is always clean and welcoming! read more

Is the matcha really bitter? Or does the cream balance the flavor out? Trying to avoid getting the drink with full sweetness because I don't know what added sugar is used.
It taste wonderful you will love it they make perfect drinks
