Got the medium size original burger with everything on it on a wheat bun and the fat fries. I thought the burger was a bit dry and the fries okay. Overall it was an okay experience, I did like how they had different options for your burger experience. You have different bun options (wheat, reg, gluten free), can customize what you want on your burger, different fries swwt potato, thick or thin cut fries. In-N-Out, despite how badly they treat their employees (there's a very public Superior Court lawsuit against them) is really great towards its customers, gives to charity & runs a top-notch business. My mom and I went here for the first time to any Fatburger ever. What a rip off... We order two meals and an order of hot wings . We were charged for every little thing from cheese to even the sides we chose. The food was horrible. The burger pattys were dry and the buns were saugy. The curly seasoned fries were cold and small. I ordered on Grubhub and had my food delivered at 11:40pm. No issue. However my burger order was incorrect. I drove to FatBurger not knowing that they close at 11:30pm. The manager saw me drive up with the bag and allowed me in. She informed me they were closed and Grubhub has the money and could not offer a refund. Ordered a Double Chili King with Xtra Chili as well as other burgers n hot wings n fries I spent over 50 bucks...took almost 20 minutes for the food. Slow. The store has a parking space in front for 10 minute pickups, which is kind of silly when you're waiting in line for 15 minutes. Add another 30 minutes until the order is ready. Even the Doordash pick-up guy had to wait for a similar amount because they hadn't processed his order properly before he arrived. Be sure to check your receipts, since on top of the ridiculous wait, they also messed up the order. Next time I'm craving a Fatburger, I'll be sure to go to the Carson one instead. read more

Have been anticipating trying this spot for a while now. every drive down the 91 freeway I would see it so I figured I would finally do so. you would not regret coming here! Mike was friendly and helped us out greatly. I would recommend giving them a try and getting their boneless wings with a hot flavor (plus they let you choose two flavors so you can't go wrong with that.) I have no idea why this place is getting a bad rep. The burgers are fantastic and the variety is refreshing. How many places give you the option of choosing from an array of condiments and extra's to add to your burger? Not many! It definitely surpasses Jack's, McDonalds etc. Also, the burgers are definitely not dry, more like juicy and REAL! As far as the workers, they are all polite and if you're not from Carson or surrounding areas don't believe the comments before mine. No one is going to gang bang on your burger! When it comes to ordering, yeah the line get kind of long but this gives you plenty of time to decide what you want. To make life easier there are pictures on the menu to help you decide what you can possibly order. So by the time you get to the front of the line you should know what you want, if you don't then step aside or allow someone else to order!! The decor/seating is vintage--50's style, booths, those high tables with stool chairs & if i'm mistaken I think they have a jukebox (?). The place has several flat screen TV's, framed pictures of iconic musicians, and outdoor seating surrounded by a water fountain. Also, this is a very clean establishment. The restrooms are spotless & the tables/seats are as well. If they aren't the managers are working there around the clock so if you have a problem they will kindly address it. Fellow Yelper LW recommended Fatburger. My first thought was, wow, it's been over 10 years since I've been to one. Well, okay, I begrudgingly agreed (yeah, right). You order at the counter and it's pretty simple. Choose from S to XXL burger patty and choose your toppings. I opted for lettuce and onions. (I think tomato is redundant since I love ketchup) They give you a mini construction cone to take back to your table. Looking around, this is totally a dude place which I don't mind. I'm just one of the guys anyway. Our order was fairly quick. I shared steak cut fries with my two dining companions. The Jersey man was kind enough to let me have a few. That's instantly another star for me. I just love steak cut fries and most places do not offer that. When our burgers arrived, (note: they drop it off for you, so no awkward standing around waiting for your number to be called.) I noticed the lettuce was shredded and the onions were chopped, no strings or rings. Later, when conferring with hubby about this, he said that's a sign of a more charbroiled burger type of place. Glad I chose the medium sized patty. Next time, I might even try the large. Overall, a good experience and will come back with other foodie coworkers. read more

This location is always busy. There is always a mixture of folks waiting for their juicy hamburger deliciousness. And by "mixture" I mean the patronage runs the gamut. Just as we got up to sit elsewhere, those same employees allowed an entire family to sit in the same booth. My son was trying to figure out why they were allowed to sit there and we weren't. By the 5th time, the response I got from the girl was "Look, we're very busy I am trying to take care of my customers your just going to have to wait" UMMMMMMMMMM WHAT DO YOU THINK SOMEONE CALLING IN SIX TIMES TO PLACE AN ORDER IS? A CUSTOMER! WHO FOR SURE HAS BEEN WAITING. Let's get the easy part out of the way. My turkey burger was fresh, delicious and right on point. The service was fast and efficient as well. There was a bad customer ahead of me in line and I use the word bad because this guy was being terribly and unnecessarily abusive to the manager, Jose. He was using profane language and was loud enough for people to notice. His complaint was over how his burger was cooked and he made a mountain of a mole hill. Jose, to his credit, did not raise his voice back to this customer and handled it like a pro. After this customer left, it was my turn to place an order. Jose greeted me warmly and thanked me for waiting in line. There was no carry-over effect from the bad interaction he had just experienced and handled. To say I was impressed would be an understatement. It is worth mentioning that this restaurant is absolutely clean and spotless every time I go there. The staff here is always friendly and helpful and cranks out the best tasting burgers in town. With Jose at the helm, it is easy to see how his leadership skills rub off on everyone working for him.
