This is a no nonsense kinda place, meaning it's gonna be difficult to get anything that's not cooked with lotsa butter and love. I'm not the kind of person who usually digs this cuisine, but I can appreciate it. I had the joonbug dish, which is basically a gluten free version of eggs Benedict - the English muffin is replaced with a black bean patty, which was really tasty. Topped with the normal hollandaise sauce and tomatoes, it was a heavy dish. The home fries are also pretty greasy but crispy, so it's like a treat! I gotta say that when my dish first came out, there was some corn beef hash on my plate and in my potatoes, so we had to send it back. I felt bad about it because they are so sweet here! But they brought me a new one cooked without any meat grease, and an additional side of potatoes! So yea be a little cautious coming here if you're a vegetarian. They do have options, but I might go for the sweeter side on a future visit. Prices average, and like I alluded to before, its home cooking at its finest. Awesome little place in the middle of Dover. I got the Fat Elvis which is french toast with peanut butter, Nutella, bananas, and candied bacon. My girlfriend got The Abby which is an eggs Benedict along with corned beef hash on a toasted english muffin. Service was quick and the waitresses were very friendly. Had what was almost an above average breakfast. Wait staff was very attentive. Owner's wife was very sweet. The corned beef was pretty good, not enough hollandaise for a Benedict, and this isn't something I've ever said before so that tells you something. Eggs weren't poached perfectly but they were ok, and the muffin was just fine. The black coffee was good for what it was, and the waitstaff brought out water when I asked in a timely manner which is more than what I expect from these busy brunch places. What was not fine was the trash that made a joke that amounted to alluding Asians eating dog, and more than half the restaurant laughing about it, and no one working in the restaurant saying anything except laugh with everyone else. I won't penalize the restaurant for that, but see that as it is. You would never see that tolerated where I'm from in Nor Cal or even most of MA where I've been. So if you're Asian wanting breakfast food, you might want to reconsider. If you're an average white person from New England you're good to go. read more

We went to breakfast on a late Sunday morning and had no wait. There was a longer wait for the food than I would have thought as there are only a small number of tables in the restaurant. But it was worth the wait! I had the Eggs Benedict which I ordered poached medium and they were done perfectly. The ham was freshly sliced and the hollandaise was so yummy! My son ordered scrambled eggs and sausage patties which he said were delicious. The potatoes were very well seasoned as well. My only complaint was service. I asked for water but the waitress only brought water for me. And I had to ask for a coffee refill but she only had a half of a cup left in the pot. And she never returned with more. read more

My husband and I went here for Sunday brunch and we're able to sit outside. I ordered the fat burger and my husband the Dundee eggs Benedict. The burger had great flavor, but was a bit well done for my tastes a the bun was a little over toasted. The eggs Benedict was very tasty, but could have used more hollandaise sauce. Whoooo. It doesn't stand out too much from the exterior so you might miss it walking the street but goddamn it is good. Even just their simple sausage, egg, cheese breakfast sandwich is incredible.
