Our first visit to the new Ichi Ramen. We had a couple new experiences with our meals. Our original server was very kind and knowledgeable and the manager made a couple stops by since my entree took a few minutes longer than my wife's. While they have yet to obtain their liquor license as others have stated in reviews the place looks "unfinished" on their interior decor. Our appetizer was the Fried Potato Shrimp While we've had shrimp battered several ways, this was new to us with stringy potato wrapped shrimp server with what I would describe as a mix of sweet and sour with chili sauce. Very delicious. My wife ordered Miso Ramen. Even amounts of all the things you expect in a ramen bowl with a soft boiled egg and pork broth. While this had a great mixture of ingredients it lacked depth in flavor. I ordered Okdol Bibimbap with Beef. This came in a scrotching hot bowl with all the elements to be stirred in the bowl to make Fried rice with Bibimbap sauce served on the side. After mixing all the elements with the sauce added this was a truly great dish(new to us). Personally I believe it needed a small amount of broth added to the bowl.

Now open! Liquor license coming soon. Owned by the same wonderful people as Eastern Paradise in Rochester. Beautiful interior, a noodle/rice/Ramen menu and a menu for apps/small plates. A very welcome addition to Dover!!!

Delicious, great service, quality on point. I lived in Japan for a while so I know my ramen.. this place has pretty good ramen. It's a good price, it's quick , chefs in the back make it fresh.. broth is on point..

Food was amazing. Service was friendly but slow, but for their first week in business it was really great. It's a nice space with a cool vibe. Although I didn't order it, I was excited to learn that they do have a vegetarian ramen option, it's just not listed on the menu.

    Long bao

Went here based off very few reviews and was blown away. We ordered the gyoza, long bao, both the regular and spicy tonkatsu ramen, and the unagi don. All of the food was hot and delicious. Could not have enjoyed it more.

Really good ramen. Never tried a place like this before and the flavor was incredible. Looking forward to try the spicy option next time.

And honestly -- the pizza is still some of the best on the Seacoast. That crust is unreal. Back when Patrick was managing, the vibe was incredible. He made a point to connect with people, let us sample new beers on tap, and made the place feel like a neighborhood hangout you actually wanted to support. Since the management change, though, the experience has taken a real nosedive. The current manager is frequently outside chain-smoking on the front patio, tossing cigarette butts on the ground, then walking straight back inside to serve tables without washing his hands. On one visit, he brought my food to the table absolutely reeking of cigarettes -- which completely killed my appetite. Service is hit or miss now. The one consistent bright spot is Jade at the bar -- she's fantastic and the only person we reliably get great service from. We also really miss Thursday Bingo. It used to be a fun excuse to make a special trip just for dinner and a game. It's such a bummer because this place used to be a favorite. The food is still excellent, but the leadership, cleanliness, and overall experience need serious attention.

I always feel so much better after visiting Stalk-it's a light in the darkness, when things feel so…read moredark that you feel swallowed up by it. A cook, myself, I've been held prisoner in jobs that make one feel discouraged due to indifference and laxity. Eating here, taking in the pride of craft and respect for the clientele makes me realise that places -and people-do exist that truly care about about the customer and strive to make them forget their lives outside the comforting walls of this restaurant. We shared a couple of apps: a crispy-skin chicken leg, indeed crispy and as usual, perfectly cooked, as usual. there are few greater pleasures in life like chicken that is juicy and cooked with an expert hand. It came with excellent ricotta mashed potatoes so good my daughter-who normally refuses to eat mashed potato-had to be fended off with my fork so Dad could swipe a couple forkfuls! The dark, flavorful sauce complimented both the meat and the potatoes. We also got the charred Halloumi cheese with pork belly with sweet and sour grapes and a whiff of finely chopped sage, again having to fend off my daughter for my portion...I was detecting a trend here... For the main courses, my wife got the Black Cod with nicely browned fingerling potatoes and braised cabbage/asparagus. She rarely ate unbreaded fish until Stalk introduced her to exquisitely cooked and seasoned fish filets. My daughter got the mushroom and eggplant kofta with a superb cashew hummus and grilled pita that was cooked with love-grilled enough to get grill marks, but not so long as to cook the life out it-they were still soft and fluffy, with just enough crisp to make scooping the hummus practicable. I got, against my usual practice of eating through the menu (as much as possible during a recipe cycle) to get the Sweet Potato Cavatelli-this is one of those dishes that I could never get often enough. the pasta dishes here are unfailingly excellent, with little culinary surprises in every one-this one, for me, in a dish with sausage AND pork belly no less, the unifying surprise is the Balsamic black butter! It just made every bite taste,,,right, perfectly complimenting the dish and making a delightfully whole flavour profile that one would not, perhaps, expect at a first blush. Taken with the Almond Romesco, it gave a slightly sweet, acidic depth that woke and gratified my palate. Again, as a cook, I appreciate the care and consideration on display that a dish such as this displays. It makes me happy... Our desserts, sadly a harbinger of the meals' approaching end, left us with a nice parting glow-the Coconut Rice pudding-with a mango compote, ginger candied cashews and flashy cherry crisps was nice, light finisher, as was the, wait for it, English pea Mojito ice cream. This follows the Mad Scientist-esque genius of Stalk's ice creams. The unbridled exuberance on display with the ice cream flavours, always makes me lean towards the ice creams over many other fine and tempting desserts...this was no exception. The peas provided a subtle pea flavor, the chill mellowing the flavor we typically associate with peas, but not losing it, is worth a victory lap on its own. The zest of lime and a nicely chiffonaded mint layered on the finishing touches without overtaking the finish, a sign of the practiced hands at work. I also must make mention of the French Press coffee service, there is truly no better way to take your coffee than via a French Press, it is so very nice to indulge in this simple life pleasure outside of my own kitchen... I would be terribly remiss if I didn't give a shout out to the staff-from the exceedingly professional and courteous staff, to the bartender who was very engaging and free with her smiles all night, the professionals preparing our dinner, who deserve much credit for turning Chefs' vision into delicious and intruiging plates of food for all of us to enjoy, and finally to Chef Nicole, who is everywhere making sure everything is running as smooth as possible, yet taking the time to chat with the patrons whenever possible. Our trips to Stalk are almost a pilgrimage-a reminder that cooking can be a joy, and that striving for that goal of making the diner perhaps, through the care and excellence of the food and its preparation, make them forget the nonsense outside the walls of the restaurant for even just an hour or so. This a lofty and noble goal, and one, for this diner, is always met. I hope it is for you, as well

This was our first visit on a Saturday evening and we were glad we made reservations as it was packed yet still maintained a great atmosphere. Chicken and Beef Kabobs as our entrees. Their signature cocktail Istanbul Peach Martini and a glass of Autorotas Sauvignon Blanc. As always the Lavash was amazing as was the Kabobs. The Kabobs came with a scoop of white rice, potatoes and a great salad with no lettuce, just marinated tomatoes. Cucumber, onion with herbs.

The restaurant was not too busy on arrival, but then a steady stream of diners streamed in, as well as a brisk pace of take out orders. We had a friendly and efficient waiter, who helped explain the menu a bit as it was our first visit. The menu is pan-asian, but I thought leaned heavily into Japanese dishes. So many dumpling and Bao dishes, I was tempted to just have those, but also wanted to try a noodle dish. Xiao Long Bao and soup dumplings were delicious, and I absolutely want to return to work deeper into the dumplings here. For the noodle dish, we opted for Seafood Maloney, which was an assortment of seafood with glass noodles. This dish wasn't my favorite, had a fair amount of shrimp, but not much else, and wasn't a flavor that I loved. Next time, will try a more traditional noodle dish.
