Found this on the long way home from work and was craving Tom Kha soup. I got an order to go along with their chicken curry, medium. Unfortunately the soup was a little too fishy for my taste and I couldn't eat it. I don't really like most fish anyhow so don't let that deter you from trying it. It looked super fresh and had all the right goodies in it. The curry was delicious with the perfect heat. I would definitely like to explore more of the menu. Ordered take out while visiting town--I came down with a cold and needed something comforting and spicy. I was pleasantly surprised to find the heat level true to Thai (sometimes I think people feel pressured to lower the heat). This spot delivers, so take that into account when ordering! The menu features a generous selection of dishes, some familiar Thai favorites like satay and pad Thai; and others more novel like the Eggplant Pad that I had with vegetables. My wife grew up in Durham long before this restaurant opened, so long ago that memories of the space as a movie theater opened our dinner conversation. It was great to step into a welcoming restaurant new to us and have a very satisfying meal. We finished with a delicious mango sticky rice. I have never had this before. Reliably great food and good service. We have tried most things on the menu, and have not had a bad meal over the past 5-6 years eating here. The Thai tea here is the best I've had. It doesn't have the bitter taste of Thai tea leaves nor the thick sweetness of the condensed milk. It's smooth and light. I wanted to order squid but I've been having bad food recently somewhere else, so I opted for safe route. Sumai and ademame are really good. The drunken noodles and the ground beef dinner with the egg (beef Pad Ka Pow) are good. They tasted like homemade food that my ex boyfriend's family made. The egg was perfectly cooked. 4 star is because we had much better flavored food at Sukho Thai in New Orleans. Overall, we enjoy the food here a lot. The price here is very reasonable as well. We definitely would come back here again if we ever come back to New Hampshire. read more

Eeek... this was a BIG disappointment. Seeing the strong ratings, we brought family from out of town. We ordered classic dishes (pad thai, chicken satay, two different types of curry, fried rice, and a shumai). The pad thai color was off (it was red!) with the overuse of paprika and while it wasn't the worst pad thai we've ever had, it was definitely off.... The curry WAS the worst we ever had - was tasteless, watered down to the slightest hint of curry, with GIANT cuts of bland potatoes and carrots to be put in a teeny tiny bowl of rice. The fried rice was consumed only out of hunger and the chicken satay was the smallest (pinky size) strips of overcooked chicken. When we were leaving, I noticed that other people's pad thai dishes looked right.... so I don't know what happened to our table, but it was a total and absolute disaster. read more

I ordered dinner takeout from Thai Smile-2 recently. This Thai restaurant also has a full service dining room. I got the Chicken Pad Thai ($10.95 plus tax), which was ready to go in under 10 minutes. The good sized portion of Pad Thai noodles was served very hot, which had a mix of soft cooked rice noodles with scallions, red onions, egg, sprouts, tender pieces of boneless chicken, ground peanuts, and lime. The dish was enjoyable, which was fresh, mild, and very tasty. I will have to stop in here again to try the other dishes. I was definitely smiling :) after dinner! read more

Honestly hands down my newest favorite location to go to for crab rangoons. I also ordered the lunch special of Thai Lo-Main with chicken. It was my first time trying this type of meal and it was alright. We ordered to spicy sauce because we felt that it needed a kick and it helped. This dish was good, however I wouldn't eat it again. Overall my opinion of this place is that it was really good. The waiters were very friendly and the atmosphere was very pleasant. Entire staff has been replaced. New people barely speak English and are horrible servers. They don't check on you unless you call loudly for 5 minutes. Now THE WORST THING.
