We deviated from our usual go to restaurant for NYE and tried S&T again. The ordering process was seamless, everyone is so kind there on the phone and in person. Pick up was a little wild, but if you're from the area, you know NYE is always a crazy time to get Chinese food. We didn't order anything extravagant or wild, just some pork fried rice, chicken fingers, beef teriyaki, crab Rangoon and pan fried dumplings. The chicken finger batter had an oddly sweet flavor to it this time around, not terribly enjoyable. The pork fried rice was filled with raw onions and when I opened the container the entire top was covered in huge chunks of raw onions, not good. The crab rangoon, while delightfully crispy, the filling was different, definitely not as flavorful as it has been in the past. The beef teriyaki was ok, nothing to write home about. The pan fried dumplings were the winners of the evening, perfectly fried, delicious! All in all, it was just an "ok" dinner experience, nothing great or out of this world, next year we'll go back to our usual NYE restaurant. read more

You can go in person and "the kitchen has been closed for 2 hours" at 5:30 pm "you should have called ahead". Uhhhhhh. Literally can call 60 times and they don't answer. Ok so, I went in today to get my usual ribeye PHO-which is the best IMO. But I felt a little hungrier than usual, so I asked for an order of spring rolls. Owner asked which kind, the fried version or the fresh cold un-fried version. She had mentioned peanut sauce comes with the cold spring roll so I decided to try that which I've never tried before. My one complaint about this spring roll was I should've Purchased a double order because happy to say, those spring rolls didn't see me coming nor did they leave the parking lot . The Peanut sauce was great complement to the Rolls-they were great! the owner is a very pleasant and personable woman when talking to others and Service was quick even though I walked in and ordered right then and there. I used to frequent Saigon all the time. Huge disappointment since Covid happened. I have been re trying every six months or so hoping things will improve but it just gets worse every time. I ordered the beef lo mein and the beef looked grey and oddly discolored. It tasted old and had a very weird after taste. Lo mein is my absolute favorite and I had to throw out the whole thing. The chicken fingers were ok but they were very sweet. The rice was dry and unflavorful and the crab ragoons were very soggy and tasteless. The beef teriyaki was tough and dry. I arrived in Dover late and was famished after a long day. I naturally resorted to Yelp to locate a venue with solid good food. Once again the Yelpsters can be relied upon to provide perfect recommendations. In fact I went with the flow and tried a Vietnamese style vermicelli bowl. The last time I had one was home cooked at my friend Tri Lai's House. This version nailed home cooking!! All the complexities required were present as were the necessary sides. This is truly authentic food. It is fresh and of the highest quality. Don't let the modest exterior scare you away. Dive in. This is the real deal and a true gem. The star rating is averaged, food and service. What's good: the food. Fresh, tasty and it satisfies my need for Vietnamese food, which I've come to adore. The only food that I thought wasn't good from here was the pad thai. But they serve "Chinese, Japanese, and Vietnamese" cuisine, so I suppose I'm not surprised. They also give you more appetizer servings than what the menu says. What's bad: their service. WOW. The manager there (she may also be the owner) is a piece of work. You challenge her and she turns into a monster. Otherwise, it's all smiles. Their bookkeeping sucks: I was accused of not paying for an order once, and I retorted with records of the payment going to the restaurant, but she wouldn't budge. The delivery is fast, but I don't know what the deal is with their delivery staff. There are multiple ways they screw it up. Once they left the delivery in the back of the house (you have to climb through brush to get to it), multiple times they didn't include a receipt where I could actually sign and give a tip, and a couple of other times they didn't follow my instructions that I want no contact. I wasn't expecting much when I came here, I just had a huge craving for a hot bowl of noodle soup and this was the CLOSEST place near me so I thought why not? The name made me feel a little skeptical about menu choices, but i couldn't be more wrong! The food was delicious! First, their menu is SO extensive, it splits into 3 different cuisines: Japanese, Chinese and Vietnamese. And you know what? I only went there once so I had food from the Chinese and Vietnamese menu. It was delicious and pretty authentic! The price is also super reasonable, it's similar to what I would get in Chinatown Boston. Moreover, the environment is pretty cozy too, everyone basically gets their own booth so you have a good amount of privacy with your party. LASTLY, their ALCOHOL is so well priced. Their scorpion bowl is huge, it was way stronger than I thought since it was only 12 dollars and it was for at least 4 people. Definitely worth coming back here, though I would recommend your party to be between 2 and 4 people. read more

A lady there will recommend some popular dishes. I am giving 4stars solely because of the facility itself. The parking lot is TINY! Probably fits 12 cars and that's it! Parking is a big issue here. I LOVE this place. They deliver to my house all the way in Somersworth and that is a huge plus, not enough places do. They have a ton of vegetarian options more than just lo mein which tends to be one of few options at a lot of Asian restaurants (around here). They make a delicious General Tso's tofu and I love their sautéed string beans. Sushi was decent too. And I love the Vietnamese curry dishes they have. SO GOOD. The Udon noodles aswell, were inedible. The only thing I was able to eat from my order was the fried Dumplings which were okay at best. Aluminum cup to serve water not a fan as one of the cup came with lipstick mark. The waitress was wearing his mask on his chin. I stopped in here for dinner my first evening in Dover. I was craving Pho and was thrilled to find a place in Dover that offered it. I ordered the Garden Rolls and a bowl of Pho Ga (with white meat). The Garden rolls came out first - as they should. I added Sriracha sauce to the Peanut dipping sauce and started to dig in. Unfortunately, as I was starting on the rolls, they immediately brought my Pho. I would have preferred if they had waited until I finished the rolls before bringing out the Pho. Overall, the rolls were a solid Garden roll offering. Fresh and tasty. What awaited me in the bowl surprised me. I've eaten hundreds of bowls of Pho Ga at numerous Vietnamese joints all across the US of A. And they are for the most part - very similar in terms of the ingredients. Not so at Saigon & Tokyo! My bowl of Pho Ga looked more like a bowl of vegetarian Pho: there was broccoli, snap peas, baby corn, red and green bell pepper, carrots, celery, mushrooms and who knows what else. All of this was served in a tasty chicken broth. On the side was the traditional plate of aromatics/veggies: Bean sprouts, lime, Basil and a pepper - not sliced Jalapeños - but instead a small Thai chile. The chicken broth was tasty and steaming, the vegetables were an interesting variation, the noodles were not clumped. However, the Basil had seen better days, it was rather wilted. And the Thai pepper was provided whole, not sliced. I added all of the aromatics/veggies - but had to slice the Thai chile myself with a butter knife so as to expose the spicy interior of the pepper and have it inundate the broth with it's spicy goodness. My server came by to see how I was doing. I started to explain how different this was than the vast majority of bowls of Pho Ga I've eaten. The manager then came over to listen to what I was saying. She advised me that if I wanted - they would make me a bowl of Pho Ga without the vegetables - but that they did not have Jalapeños - and that they would be happy to bring me pre-sliced Thai chilies. I responded that their version of Pho Ga was not bad - just different than what I am accustomed. Overall, it was a pretty good bowl of soup - although I felt that out of all the vegetables, - the celery really did not work well in the context of the flavors and textures of the soup. I paid $15 and change for a bowl of Pho Ga and an order of Garden rolls - which I think is more expensive than most Pho joints in the Northern VA area. But I'd definitely come here again when in Dover - for a bowl of Pho Ga - sans the celery! read more

Parking stinks but food is pretty good. Got the vermicelli with pork and egg roll. If you come on a weekend, it may be crowded. My party of 4 had to wait about 25 mins for a table which isn't bad but the worst part is there is no room to wait in this restaurant. You're pretty much stuck in the narrow space by the door awkwardly manuvering out of people's way the whole time. It would be better if you could leave a phone number and just wait in your car. Overall, a decent asian resturant in NH. Their menu is HUGE, I do not know how they are able to stock all this but they have a lot of Chinese, Vietnamese, and Japanese dishes.
