Came to get hibachi for girlfriend's birthday. Our chef was great and made the experience fun and interactive. The food was some of best hibachi I have had. Filet melted in your mouth and chicken+veggies were seasoned perfectly. Very accommodating with our gluten and seafood allergies. Highly recommend read more

This is a great place. The service is great and the food is made to order fresh and they were able to accommodate my gluten free request. This place loses a star because the lettuce in my Boston roll was browned. Other than that, this place is great. read more

Good food, could be more flavorful though. Great service vended the rules a bit to make experience better. Will come back

Packed house on a Friday night. Seated fairly quickly all things considered. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Expen Overwhelming menu full of named rolls. Cold dining room. Every time that front door opened there'd be an instant chill. Food tasted fine. Pricey! read more

Moritomo Japanese Restaurant - a wall of plaques - Japanese Near Me - Concord, New Hampshire

Good Japanese food in New Hampshire! If you find yourself not feeling up to visiting Massachusetts and instead want to eat some local Japanese food, certainly check out Moritomo. They are well known as the best Japanese food in the state. I have been here twice so far and each time has been a hit. You can tell how loved this restaurant is by the line that forms, even in the cold weather before they open for dinner! Both their sushi and hibachi are delicious, and that is from somebody that typically isn't a big hibachi fan. I look forward to visiting more often, this place and staff are certainly a win. They have multiple ways to dine, sushi bar, table, hibachi, or tatami mat, but the mat must be reserved in advance. read more

Absolutely five star birthday destination in concord, my 15 year old son birthday was amazing thank u so much will be back

Went in today for Hibachi! Was greeted and seated right away! Staff is friendly and fast! Checked out the menu as it was a first visit for us! I had the steak & Shrimp w/ fried rice hibachi & husband has the Shrimp and Scallops and fried rice! I had the mushroom soup and he had a salad! This was one of the best hibachis we have been to since leaving the midwest! Food had amazing flavor and was amazingly fresh! Small intimate place! Perfect for a special date night! read more

Sushi bar is the best in town for their quality rolls... and the guys are awesome. Waitstaff are always friendly and attentive. We enjoy our visits every time from sit down to take out read more

The food is outstanding and mostly reasonably priced. The service is prompt and friendly

Meh. I'm not sure why this place gets four stars. The food is just OK. The service is very friendly, but the ambience is not great. We each had a dinner special Bento box. I selected the vegetable tempura, fried Shumai, garlic broccoli, and instead of a California roll I subbed for a classic roll. I did not like the garlic sauce on the broccoli, though I was grateful the broccoli was not overcooked. The tempura vegetables were perfectly fried. the sushi roll was OK. It's was all sort of average. My friend got a fried banana for dessert and it came with whipped cream and maraschino cherries, which is not what I would expect after an expensive Japanese dinner. The restaurant feels a bit depressing with its decor; I would not go back. read more

Came here with friends for a birthday dinner and sat in a private room. The food was amazing, I got a few different sushi rolls and my friends enjoyed all of their meals as well. The service was good but a little slow and the restaurant was not busy by any means and that would be my only complaint. The private room was a very cool concept, and it was fun to experience something out of the norm for this area. read more

My husband and I had a great meal. We drove up and saw a coach bus and got worried. It was 6:15 on a Sat. We sat at the sushi bar and the service was great. The food was timely and delicious. He had the dumpling soup and the regular sashimi. We shared a seaweed salad and I had the Chirashi. Everything was great, fresh and filling. Will be back again. read more

Great sushi! Good apps too. Pork dumplings were delicious. Nice cocktails. Very small place. Cool private eating spaces.

I've ordered the same thing at this restaurant for the last 5 years. Garlic noodles no seafood extra noodles. I've ordered on Door Dash (when they participated) and in person picking it up. Today I ordered and they gave me some weird cream sauce with no vegetables or anything. It was the completely the wrong order. Instead of making it right they argued with me as if I haven't ordered this a ridiculous number of times in the past. It's such a shame that the service and accuracy has dropped off this much. I won't ever go back. read more

If you are looking for great sushi and an interactive fun staff, then Moritomo is the place you want. My husband and I have been there just about every Friday night. We love to sit at the sushi bar but lately it's getting harder and harder to find a seat, business must be good! When we go out with family, we enjoy the food and entertainment of the hibachi. The staff is friendly and always smiling and our server Indri is awesome! I think we've made this our date night spot, can't wait till Friday. read more

Been a few different times and have always enjoyed it. Is always delicious. There was some confusion the last time I visited and orders the hibachi grill. When ordered in the past, they have always given me the dinner entrée portion size and the last time I went, there was a miscommunication, especially on the menu between lunch version and entrée version. Make sure to ask your weight staff about portion size. Great ambience, enjoy the little rooms that they offer. Will definitely be going back. read more

Delicious , fresh sushi as usual ! My favorite sushi spot in the area. It wasn't crowded upon getting there on a Sunday at 530. Service was okay , but definitely didn't blow me away. Amazing Sushi and Authentic Japanese Food and Atmosphere! The staff was very Kind and Helpful. Amazing place will go back many more times!

I admit I am a huge Morimoto fan and everything met and exceeded my expectations! The food preparation is so unique you are in for a pleasant surprise every time you go in. The servers are so knowledgable which is a special treat if you are looking for a special recommendation. The setting in the restaurant is beautiful and contributes to the entire dining experience. This is really. 4.5 stars for the food desert known as Concord NH. Have eaten here 50 or so times since they arrived what seems like 25 years or so ago now. It's perfectly consistent, clean, average pricing and the dishes I've tried have been well executed. Have only been to the hibachi side a couple of times and it's fine, nothing to complain about and the normal interactive routine w flaming onion volcanos etc. Don't hesitate to get a meal here, takeout game is on point too. Not odd waits or anything. read more

The sushi was great, my wife and I enjoyed sitting at the bar. Had a pleasant conversation with another patron as well as the Su Chefs and our waiter. We have come to this restaurant so many times for the food for the atmosphere for the sushi bar. Sometimes the food is just a small part of what makes this or any restaurant worth coming back. Today was just such an example. You see today was not just another day. It was a day to celebrate the first day--really just a couple hours after my Thai wife became a citizen of the United States. So our server Robert decided to pay for our lunch. That kind of jester was unexpected surprising incredible. He already was such a great server better than most really proud of where he works and what he does thank you so much for making this day such a great start of a new chapter in our lives. We will be back. Everyone should too. read more

Moritomo Japanese Restaurant - The freshest raw bar anywhere - Japanese Near Me - Concord, New Hampshire

Had high hopes but the service was awful! The place was pretty much empty when we arrived and put our orders in. Took almost an hour to get our food! People who came in after us finished and checked out before we left. Waiter apologized to other people, cleared tables and gave water refills - not us! Wife ordered her steak medium; half was raw and half was well done. My sushi sat on the bar 20 minutes. Don't recommend. read more

Moritomo has a very friendly atmosphere. The owner is so friendly and ensures everyone gets a warm welcome. The food was good and was very nicely presented. Very good sushi for lunch today, gyoza appetizer and spider roll! Right off the highway so easy access for sushi in Concord. Pretty busy for lunch, that is always a good sign! read more

Food was good, but unfortunately they made the cardinal sin of serving raw (or not thoroughly cooked) chicken to the customers behind us. YUK!!!!! I tell you, the couple were more polite (and hungry) than we were. They politely asked the waiter to send back the chicken to the kitchen so it can be cooked more.... I would have left! At the very least, the waiter should have offered them their meal for free!!! Raw chicken?? Unforgivable. Oh, and BTW, the men's restroom had no paper towels, and the air dryer was out of order... You could see kitchen employees coming in and out of that same restroom... So, did they wash their hands? I highly doubt it, but who knows... Thankfully, (our immunizations were up to date and) our meals were good. Two bento boxes. One of them did have something resembling chicken and it seemed to be cooked (enough). Portion size was decent, prices reasonable, service was fair. Will we go back? Hmmmm.... probably not. Too bad the Thai restaurant (Siam Orchid) was closed on Monday.... read more
