Ordered an alligator roll which was shrimp tempora inside topped with eel and avocado.... I got this. Half was topped with eel the other half raw tuna (I think). Inside they put imitation crab..... We ordered a pu pu platter for 2, Sweet & Sour Chicken(( the s&s sauce was awesome)) , Beef Fried Rice, and beef lo mein!!! Everything came out hot & delicious! We have been going to Asian breeze for sometime both dining in and taking out and it has been a five star experience but the last three takeouts I would classify as good bad and ugly. The experience was perfect. Everything we wanted was in the order and it was absolutely delicious, we got the seafood, hot and sour soup we had just plain old hot and sour! The ugly ones are last visit roughly 2 weeks ago we decided to try the bone with spare ribs as an appetizer. They were horrible. They were overcooked. They were tougher than jerky. The beef Mongolian had very little beef and a lot of fluid and the pork fried rice just didn't cut it. This is not our usual experience here. We were looking for Chinese while in Hooksett. Our usual go-to "Bonsai" was nearly 5 miles away so we decided to give Asian Breeze a try. BIG MISTAKE!! We realized it was the day before Christmas and there might be a wait for a table or food but we were willing to wait. Surprisingly, there was not a wait to be seated. The waiter took our order quite quickly as well. We were informed that the lunch specials or sushi was not available, so we worked within those constraints. We ordered a pupu platter and house fried rice. The wait for our food was about 50 minutes which was longer than we had hoped for such a minimal order but was tolerable. The huge disappointments came when our food arrived at our table. The rice was ok but a couple items on the pupu platter, the teriyaki beef on a stick and spring rolls were not just cold, they were ice cold! Immediately, we called our waiter and showed him they were ice cold. He said the kitchen is too busy to fix it and he already waited for this food for too long. We said it's not a problem, but can you please have these 2 items reheated? He told us "No". I am 63 years old and have never been told by a waiter that they would not address our concern. This could have been a simple fix in the microwave but to say "no" to a customer is despicable! We will NEVER visit this place again and I highly recommend anyone considering Asian Breeze to take the 5 mile drive up the street and go to Bonsai at the Massebesic circle. My husband and I went in on Saturday afternoon for some Mai Tai and noodles. We took our seats at the bar and were waited on my Cindy. She was fantastic! She was busy cleaning and tending to other guests. The Mai Tais we had were PERFECT!!!! Just what we wanted. The chicken rice noodles were soooooo tasty and fresh! Awesome, as was the pork lo main. We had the chicken wings which were not the traditional Chinese chicken wings we expected but they were very good. I always like to check the restrooms in any restaurant I am going to review. They we very clean, and well stocked. You can always tell how clean a place is by how they keep the restrooms. We can't wait to go back to The Asian Breeze! read more

This place has been our go to place. Love having Larry as a waiter and every year we have come Christmas Eve day with a group that has no family to celebrate the holidays. Won't allow reservation which is hard as two drive 1-1/2 hours, offers an hour, to join us, still did not care so we arrived at 2:00 making sure we could get in. Were told once we sat no separate checks, could not even do 1/2 and 1/2 of group too busy. One other table was full but did have lots of take out going on. Also told did not have sushi. Never has this place made us feel they do not care!! Have been very cross when we try and make reservations. What has happened to customer service? We left/walked out after the attitude and went to Shorty's and had a great time. They were very attentive and we had a great visit. Sadly we loved this place. Shut down for many months. Gave it 2 tries after reopening and should have stopped after the first. Prices ridiculous for same old Chinese food. Nothing special. Sushi was disturbingly warm, PuPuplatter for 3 was undersized. Both the beef teriyaki sticks and pork were very dry and tough chicken wings were small. Egg rolls very underwhelming. The tempura was very good, which was 2 crispy shrimp, potato, sweet potato, and taro served with tempura dipping sauce. I chose fried rice, which was decent. For dessert, the Green Tea Ice Cream ($2.50) was okay, a bit gummy and not that sweet. Overall, a good value of food for lunch and decent service. PSA: I noticed a staff member was using a cloth towel to wipe down the plastic table cover surface at the next table, then wiped down the booth seats really good with the same towel and finally rewiped the table surface with....THE SAME TOWEL. I worked at a restaurant in my younger days and the policy for cleaning tables was to use separate wipe towels and sanitizer buckets for the table surfaces and seats. I've lived in Southern NH since 92. Only now do I finally go to Hooksett to find the best Chinese food in all these years. Service was great, food was hot and prepared expertly, peppers still retained their color and flavor and were hot. The wife and I could not get over this find. If you've moved up from Mass and ever went to the Golden Buddha, it's that place (flavorwise) reincarnated. The atmosphere was good and very comfortable for a night of dining out. Thank you Asian Breese for a wonderful night out with great food. Note: we ordered a few dishes and it was way too much for us. PuPu platter for 2 (all was great and hot) General Tsao chicken. Nicely spiced for me. White rice: my favorite rice and it was great Beef fried rice. Excellent flavor and quantity. Once we were done we brought the leftovers home and they even reheated well. We were out cruising and decided to stop somewhere to eat. Saw the sign for Asian Breeze and decided Chinese was on the menu. We pulled in and sat in the bar. The bartender I think is named Pete, came over and took our order. I wanted a Mai Tai and he came back with one in a minute or two. Excellent Mai Tai. We both ordered off the lunch menu and when the food came out we were pleasantly surprised by the presentation and quantity of food. Price was very reasonable as well. I had all I could do to finish my plate and the old lady had enough to take home for another meal. Food was delicious. Fried rice was best I've had in awhile. She had General Tao chicken and declared in excellent as well. We've been back multiple times and it's been great every time. Service has been great from 3 different bartenders as well. Although their name sounds a lot like an air freshener you will quickly find out they are anything but fresh. They have a tired decor like the are an old all you can eat Chinese buffet. The smell is painfully overwhelming, the staff as a whole is ok, my experience wAs shared with an old white waitter in jeans that seemed really out of place. Miso soup tasted like the seaweed had gone jerky, there was no pork in the pork fried rice and the vegetables were from a frozen veggies bag. Shrimp were fresh but few and the $17 sushi special roll was one of the plainest most boring over Pankoed rolls I have ever got. read more

First time placing order. Happily standing at counter for a few minutes to place order. Noone there, as soon as phone rings older salt n pepper haired man who works there runs right to phone right across from me looking at me but asks the person on the phone if he can take their order? I was in the Manchester area with my parents and looked up Chinese food on Yelp and I found Asian Breeze. We went in at 1:00pm on a Saturday. I have read some other reviews but I found the young lady at the reception area very pleasant and cheerful. We were seated quickly and I found the interior very clean, fresh and spacious. Our waiter came over promptly and took our drink order and apps. He smiled the whole time we were there and cracked a few jokes. We had the fried wings and puff chicken to start. He placed a large container of sweet sauce on the table that I found sweet but not sickly sweet and syrupy, it went well with the puff chicken. The wings were delicious as well. Perfectly cooked inside with a welcome crunch on the outside. My mother had the garlic shrimp lunch special with wings, pork fried rice and egg drop soup. The rice was fried and had a very nice color and taste with fresh veg. The shrimp was plentiful, fresh and glistened from the sauce. Her egg drop soup had a very rich and deep yellow color and she ate every last drop. My father and I both had the wonton soup which was perfect. The broth had a complex taste that you can only find from fresh not canned soup. The wontons were perfect size and you could taste the wonderful minced interior. I also had the Mongolian beef with PFR and crab rangoon. The Rangoon was nice, crispy and fresh. The beef was tender, sauce out of the world and the vegetables very fresh. My only regret is not living closer so I can enjoy their food more often. I was going to look for homes in Manchester next summer but I think Hooksett might just be the place. read more
