I've lived in Goffstown for a long time but have only tried this restaurant twice now. And I don't know why! It's really good. We placed a takeout lunch order and got 3 combination plates: General Gau's, Szechuan Chicken, and Sweet & Sour Pork, along with a Pu Pu platter for 1 to try out all the little fried appetizer bits. Everything was hot, fresh, carefully packaged, and delicious. Don't miss this little Chinese food place in between Weeks Pizza and The Village Trestle, right in the heart of Goffstown village.

Food was awful. Definitely not at all worth what we paid for. The service wasn't great either.

This is our go-to for Chinese takeout in the area for the last 18 years. Pre-pandemic we would often eat in as well.

Gross food. Their gravy for egg foo young is gross rice. Very bland and hard. All and all stay away. Bad service too.

The fried sticky rice balls with sesame and the filling is a sweet lotus pod --it was freshly made and so good. The black tea with my dim sum was the perfect compliment. Again, the sticky rice in lotus leaves was so so so good. I'll be back for dim sum more often. I left thinking this is the best dim sum in New Hampshire. The service was efficient and good.

We are always on the search for authentic Chinese (especially Sichuan) food. We stopped at North…read moreGarden because they offer dim sum, which is usually a good sign. We stopped in for dinner and got: - "Pan-fried" Peking raviolis - Beef with ginger and scallion hotpot. First, the raviolis came out deep-fried, not pan-fried. Which is fine, but there is a difference and should be reflected on the menu. They were good, but being fully fried, the texture is different from a pan-fried dumpling. Next, the beef hotpot. It came out in a sizzling bowl. It was a large portion of beef, mushrooms, and vegetables (mostly onion). The flavor was okay. Certainly nothing offensive, and it was good, although a bit oily, but it was lacking an OOMPH. I wish it had more ginger flavor. Or maybe fermented black bean - that would have kicked it up a notch. There are actually two separate spaces here: 1 is the dining area, and 1 is a bar and lounge. Both spaces can order the full menu. The dining space was clean and casual. The staff working there were very nice and super friendly. From our experience, it's a middle-of-the-road Chinese restaurant, a place I'd go again but not a place I'd go out of my way for.
