I have been looking for good Chinese food for a while now, and Tea Garden is definitely it. The ginger chicken is delicious and the chicken wings are so different from the usual places. They are crispy and really good. I am looking forward to trying a lot more from their menu. They are, in my opinion, the " best in Concord" read more

Excellent food, excellent drinks.the atmosphere could be cleaned and updated but can't beat the food!

Have been here a few times. They are consistent. Good food. I'll be back. They are always nice

Ordered from here from years and watched it slowly get worse. Had a pu pu platter delivered yesterday, and we received one box of food that has always come as two boxes. I soon saw why. The portions have been cut back severely. There were literally only 2 small chicken wings, 4 small chicken fingers, one egg roll, 4 teriyaki cuz we substituted for shrimp and so few spare ribs that we originally thought they'd forgotten them. This is about half the food it has always come with though the prices have increased. Absolutely not worth it. read more

The lunch portion was small compared to dragon star and the sweet and sour soup was overpriced. They also charge a convience fee for ordering on line. How silly is this. read more

This place has delicious food, excellent ambiance, yummy duck sauce! This is our new go to place for Chinese food when we visit family in New Hampshire (we came up from CT). We will be back! read more

I stayed at the nearby Holiday Inn, so this was a convenient dinner option. The wonton soup was rather sad with only 3 wontons, broth, and some green onions. Any additional veggies would have been great. My date and I really came for the pupu platter though. This was a hearty appetizer or meal. My favorite was the beef teriyaki due to its sweetness, good char, and tenderness. The chicken tenders weren't very good. There was far too much batter for the tiny amount of chicken inside. read more

This was a real crapshoot of service and food today. They are so discombobulated and confused our entire time here. Our orders came out at very different times and my husband and I got our meal well after the other three people had finished their meals. There were people that had arrived 45 minutes after us that received their orders before us. Live locally and not coming back anytime soon. read more

I don't get the mystery of this place. I just went for the second time, and it was disappointing both times. Food was marginal at best and the service (at the bar) was awful. Better food elsewhere. read more

The food is some of the best in this area. No MSG and tthey use vegetable oil not lard. Great quality and generous servings.

Not sure what happened today, but the food was ... not great. Lo mein tasted old, smaller portions, chicken fingers mostly batter, forgot my fried rice and highly over priced for what I received. It was ready when I got there...but for how long? Service was good, friendly, quick and respectful. It was to go so no ambiance comment. I won't be going back. Sorry. read more

I have only ordered take out or delivery for here, so I can't speak to the in house experience. What I can say the food is always good, the people I have interacted with are friendly and the food is always well packaged (no leaking containers like some other places). Lots of good items on the menu but I recommend the sesame chicken. If you like sweet and sour chicken, it is great but I will give you a tip; ask for extra sauce as the portion size is small. read more

Very basic good Asian food. Not authentic from overseas options, very American but done so well. I like the flavors and food is ready very fast! Probably my favorite go to go quick on the go Asian in Concord!! read more

Ordered takeout an hour before close and it was ready within 20 mins. My usual chinese place was closed. This place was a ghost town inside but the hostess was nice. The fried dumplings are big and tasty. The Szechuan chicken was ok but visually doesnt look like much besides celery and carrots. It was good but the chicken yu hsiang was amazing. I wish the rice and lo mein had more veggies. read more

This place has fallen so far off. Awful compared to what it used to be. Won't ever come back here again. A 2 star because an appetizer was ok and beer was cold. I have nothing good to say after that. read more

First off, I just want to say I LOVE this restaurant. However it could use some updating. The interior of the restaurant needs some love and updating as it gives off "hole in the wall" vibes. Every time I come I get the sesame chicken - delicious! The scorpion bowls are also a fun treat. My cousin loves her Chicken Teriyaki and vegetable fried rice. Great spot, albeit a hole in the wall! PS My sister refuses to eat here because she heard there were rats in the kitchen, and someone who did work in their kitchen said they were "everywhere." I'm not sure how much I believe her, but taken from the fact that she won't eat anything from there says a lot, because she isn't picky. read more

My husband and I went for lunch. We ate one bite and could not eat any more. I love shrimp and it tasted like it was out of a can and so salty . He asked for light on sauce low salt. his meal was also non edible. We paid the bill and left our meals . Rice tasted like burnt plastic. read more

Good quality tasting food. Take out always ready when I pick up my order. Everything we've ordered has always been good.

I'm visiting from out of town and heard great things about this place. I ordered the General Gau's Chicken, it was pretty good and they give good sized portions. The beef teriyaki was a little on the dry side but tasted good and also generously portioned. I'd definitely order from them again. read more

I ordered the Yu Hsiang shrimp. Excellent! I asked for it spicy and they delivered it with red chili sauce on the side. Perfect because I added it all! Their spring rolls were really lite and crispy. Excellent food, though small portions for the price, and parking is difficult (the neighboring bank's lot is accessible at the weekend). The scallion pancakes are some of the best I've ever had. read more

My wife and I have dined and done take-out at this establishment since 1990. Our order has generally been the same for decades. Tonight, four of us nearly ate the entire order. Their portions have shrunk to the point that we may look elsewhere when ordering take-out. An order from this restaurant generally meant leftovers for several days, it will be gone tomorrow. For g__ sakes, raise your prices but don't cut your portion sizes! read more

My wife and I went here right after COVID and thought the food was just OK. We went back a few weeks ago and what a difference! We had a drink at the bar and ordered take out. The food was ready promptly and it was amazing. Certainly one of the best Chinese restaurants in Concord. The crab rangoon was amazing. General Tso's chicken is too. So far we have been back twice and everything we have ordered has been great. I highly recommend this place if you are in the mood for Chinese food. read more

I get take out and delivery pretty regularly here. Their dishes are delicious and consistently good. Service is always quick. My favorites are the General Gao's Chicken and Pork fried rice. We have been using Tea Garden for Takeout for roughly 20 years. We have always been impressed with the food...until today's delivery. The normally dark fried rice was a blonde color and very bland. The egg rolls are different than usual...rather mushy inside. The boneless spare ribs were very different than we have received in the past..just flavorless and looked very different. The pork lo mein was dry.. Not sure what is happening here..cutting corners on the food ? The chicken fingers and fried dumplings were good. We have always had great food from Tea Garden so we will be ordering again but if we get the same quality, they will lose our future business. Their deliveries are always prompt and the employees are always great. read more

Had not been to Tea Garden in over 8 years, but glad we decided to stop by. In short, my wife and I were very impressed by ... everything. She got a hot and sour soup that was excellent ("a nice beefy/spicy flavor" - 5 stars), plus was given a ginger sauce (looked like soy) that made the soup even better. Also for her: Scallion Pancakes. These were light, tasty and scallion'y, and also rated 5-stars. I opted for the Szechuan (spicy) Chicken, and it too was excellent. Just enough heat to water my eyes (in a good way), and more than enough to take home for the next day. Since our last visit, they'd remodeled the inside, so you no longer enter at the door close to the driveway, and apparently added a bar upstairs (or was that there previously?). It felt more inviting than before, which perhaps was why we'd avoided going back for 8 years+. We will NOT wait that long again! read more

My husband and I decided to stop in and give this restaurant a try as we had passed by so many times but had never stopped in. BAD decision. We found out why so many Chinese restaurants have dim lighting.. it's to keep EVERYONE from seeing the dirty. The food, MEH. The absolute worst part of our dine-in experience was when one of the staff members (a white male) was conversing with a few other staff members (one was a white female) about a recent customer interaction that had taken place. He and the girl in particular continued to loudly describe not only the alleged incident but also the customer in a very derogatory and vulgar way, despite seeing patrons glancing in their direction. Because they made no attempt to either be discreet with their conversation or better yet end it, we heard everything that was being said, and it caused us to become extremely uncomfortable. We left halfway through our meal without waiting for our food to be boxed up. Needless to say we DO NOT recommend this restaurant and will NEVER return!! read more
